Tammy is my makeup artist for my wedding (for me and my mom), and she did an amazing job. I wanted an elegant natural look, and she understood exactly what I wanted. My wedding had a lot of dancing, and I told Tammy at the very beginning that I will have a couple of high-​energy dance performances along with several more hours of dancing. Sweating is going to be inevitable, and my biggest worry is that I will have raccoon eyes after just one dance!
Tammy was very attentive and made me feel at ease both during the trial session and the morning of my wedding. Soon after the trial makeup session, I noticed that the mascara or eyeliner started smudging after a couple of hours, so I mentioned it to her. She quickly responded to my email and addressed my concern, and said she will put a note about that for my wedding. I was a little nervous, because I was not going to get another trial before the wedding and had to put my trust in Tammy.
Surely enough, Tammy did a wonderful job on my wedding day. My makeup was beautiful and natural, and after hours of intense dancing, my makeup still stayed on without any touchups!

After booking Tammy for my bridal makeup on my wedding day, my takeaways with her are:
1. She really takes the time to listen to you and give you a look that fits your style

The details — I booked Tammy as my makeup artist for my wedding and I was blown away by how I looked on the day-​of. We did a trial run a few months prior to the wedding and Tammy really took the time to learn about what my makeup style is, and what type of look I wanted for my wedding day. I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup so I was a bit nervous about not looking like myself on my wedding day (i.e. makeup too drastic or caked on), but Tammy put me at ease with her positive, calming energy and clear talent. Ultimately I wanted a natural look for my wedding day and that is exactly what Tammy did for me: it was flawless, soft, and romantic, yet still glamorous for the wedding. I absolutely LOVED how I looked on my wedding day!
I also love that Tammy does airbrushing and individual false lashes — she truly has a gift for pulling out all the stops on professional makeup, while still creating a soft, natural-​look.
In addition, not only is Tammy incredibly talented, but she is also extremely organized and reliable. Tammy traveled to my sister-in-law’s house the morning of the wedding where I was getting ready, and when I arrived at the house Tammy had everything set up and ready to go! She has such great energy and was a calming presence on the morning of my wedding. I would be hard-​pressed to find a more talented and organized makeup artist who also had as great of a personality as Tammy.
I highly, highly recommended booking Tammy for your wedding, engagement, family photos, or any other events in your life!

I highly recommend Tammy Son! She is very easy going and easy to talk too. She did my make up for my engagement photos and I got a lot of compliments. She also did my makeup and my 5 bridesmaids on our wedding day. We all looked beautiful! The makeup was very natural looking and was not heavy at all! I had fake eye lashes on, but I did not even feel them! Overall, she did more than a great job and I would recommend her to all my friends!

I was referred to Tammy when my first Make-​Up Artist cancelled on me 2 weeks before my wedding!!! What a blessing that was. Tammy returned my frantic phone call and put me at ease. Most of my friends call me a perfectionist. When Tammy did a make-​up trial on me, she was way beyond what I expected and she is the perfectionist! She helped me find the same eyelashes Kim Kardashian uses (I showed her a KK make-​up look I loved). She did exactly what I asked and envisioned my make-​up to look like. On my wedding day she made me look flawless and my make-​up stayed flawless all through the night.

I can’t say enough about Tammy Son as both a phenomenal make-​up artist and fantastic human being. Tammy swooped in to help save the day when my brother’s wedding needed to be moved forward due to some unfortunate family circumstances. A good friend of mine recommended Tammy and we were in touch with her right away.
Tammy was amazingly understanding and was able to make arrangements with us on incredibly short-​notice. Of course, getting bridal & bridesmaid make-​up done without a «practice run» meant we had to put our full faith and trust in her her talents. Thankfully, we were wise in doing so. The bride and bridesmaids were extremely pleased with the final results and we all looked our best for the ceremony and photos.
Tammy was on time, friendly, easy to talk to, and very responsive to our individual make-​up desires. Considering we had just «one shot» to get the look we each were hoping for, she really captured what we wanted and brought out the best in all of us.

Found Tammy through a friend who used her for her wedding, and glad I did. I normally do not wear makeup, and Tammy did a wonderful job on my trial, and then again for my and my bridemaids’ makeup. I’ve only had my makeup professionally done twice before, and each of those times it looked like makeup was caked on my face and that I was a china doll/​geisha. In fact, each of those times, I wiped off most of the makeup. Tammy, however, is the opposite of this. Her approach is much more natural, «glow.» She is great with taking into your personal features and blending to your style.

Tammy is fantastic. She’s professional, yet personable, and makes a person feel as comfortable as possible in an easily awkward situation. It’s not easy to sit there and be still as someone fusses over your face, but she makes it both literally and figuratively pain-​free. She does a fantastic job and bringing out the best qualities in a person, and as many people have said already, completely exceeds expectations. I recommend Tammy any chance I get!

You must hire Tammy to do your makeup for your special occasion! Tammy did my makeup as well as my bridesmaids and family member’s makeup for my wedding in October and I could not have been more satisfied. I was confused on the look that I wanted for the wedding and kept changing my mind, but Tammy was so patient with me and was willing (and able) to give me any of the different looks I asked for. On the day of the wedding, Tammy showed up early and was set up and ready before we even made it to the prep room! Everyone’s makeup looked amazing. She uses high quality products and is an expert at airbrushing. My wedding was outdoors and even in bright sunlight the makeup looked flawless without looking cakey or thick at all. It also stayed on all night without any problems.
On top of Tammy’s amazing skills are her amazing personality. She manages to walk the line of fun and easy to talk to, but she’s also such a calming presence on what can be a hectic day. She’s a true professional and ready for anything that you throw at her. She was absolutely one of the best decisions I made for my wedding and I would highly recommend her to any soon-​to-​be bride!

Tammy is the crème de la crème of makeup artists. Not only is she an incredible talent, but she has a terrific personality to match. Tammy did the makeup for my wedding (myself, my mom and 5 bridesmaids), and she kept us laughing the whole time, which was a welcome relief with all the stress of being a bride!
When I think wedding makeup, I get this image of caked on, unnatural news anchor makeup, but Tammy is fantastic at striking the right balance of making sure you’re made up to look your best in photos without looking overdone. She accomplishes what makeup’s supposed to do: bring out the best part of you while still looking like yourself. And thanks to Ms. Son, I now now the joy of false eyelashes (my natural ones are relatively short) and what a fabulous thing they are!
Since the wedding, I’ve had Tammy do my makeup for a gala, and it was just as fab an experience as the big day. For any event where you want to look nice and purdy but still look like you, Tammy’s your gal. I’m so glad that I found her, and she will forever be part of my «glam squad» arsenal.

Tammy rocks! I worked with her for my wedding and she did both my make-​up as well as my girlfriends and mom! She’s super organized and professional, which is really the cherry on top of her talent as a make-​up artist. After doing two trial runs one at MAC make up counter at Nordstrom in Valley fair, where I was told by an employee (who wasn’t working on me) that I was too picky and should do my own make up. Hello! this is for my engagement photos and wedding day. Of course, I am going to be picky. And another with private freelancer who was really nice but couldn’t get the color scheme on me. I finally found Tammy.
Tammy and I go way back to the days we used to work at Great America. Life got a hold of us and we lost touch. But after the trial with MAC, I decided to text Tammy at 12am in the morning for a trial run (of course, we didn’t do the trial until noon that day).
After my last two trials, I was ready to give up. Then I reconnected with Tammy and the trial left me speechless. Tammy is and was AMAZING. I almost cried because she made me look the way I wanted and she was on point with the colors. My fiancé loved it. My family loved it. She made my eyes pop and gave me that dramatic look without making me look like a raccoon. She made my skin look flawless without loads of foundation. She was just fantastic. She has such an amazing and beautiful personality that kept me calm during the trial. She is professional and knows what she is doing.
I am so happy to say that I booked her for my engagement session (turned out fantastic) and for my wedding day. I can’t wait to see everyones faces when they see me that day!
Thanks to Tammy, I won’t be doing my own make up for my wedding day! You all should definitely book a trial with her along with booking her for your big day. She is worth it!!!

Tammy saved me!
She did my wedding make-​up last minute and made me look like a supermodel. I couldn’t have been happier. It was magic. I don’t wear makeup, so I didn’t want my face to scream, «I’m wearing makeup! Look at me!» She made me look finished and beautiful, and I couldn’t even feel it. Simply wonderful and she’s sweet too!

Tammy was extremely professional and her make-​up services were amazing. I was the Maid of Honor at the wedding so she did my make-​up, plus the bride’s and all four bridesmaids. The bride had bragged about how well-​taken care of she felt before the wedding, and right up until the end of the wedding. Upon request, Tammy stuck around and touched up the bride which was much appreciated. Her coorespondence through the entire process was professional and attentive. I would definitely use GoBlush for my wedding and would recommend Tammy Son to anyone.

I just got wedding about a lil over a month ago and my wedding planner found Tammy for me. I reached her and had a trial which went great so I booked her for my wedding and my engagement pictures. Each time she did my makeup it came out perfectly. She also did my mom’s makeup, all 3 bridesmaids, and a cousin on the day of. Tammy is a lot of fun and she really knows how to make someone look beautiful =).

Tammy is the best make up artist I’ve ever had! She is super nice and listened to my needs. I was looking for a makeup artist for my sister’s wedding. I went through 2 other people before I finally found Tammy! I don’t wear a lot of make up, so I always ask for «the natural look.» Tammy was easy to talk to and showed me all the products and colors she was going to use on me. At first I was afraid to try the airbrush foundation, but I gave her the ok to use it on me. I was amazed! She found the perfect color and made my face look FLAWLESS! She even filled in my brows without making it look fake (I’ve had horrible experiences in the past!), and glued little fake eyelashes on. i LOVED the look!!! I will definitely use Tammy again in the future.

Tammy Son did amazing make up for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding on Aug 30, 2008. She was so sweet, not pushy, listened to my concerns, avoided colors I didn’t like, and was so wonderful to work with. She uses fantastic products, and air brushes at the end for a finish. My look was natural but great for photos, my skin looked amazing with the foundation that she uses, and she does an amazing job with eye lashes. And I am very picky about makeup!!! My make up looked amazing from 11am to 1am when i was done partying, and lasted the whole time. She did my younger sister too who never wares make up, and my family almost cried because she looked so amazing. She did make up for a range of ethnicities and everyone looked fabulous. I highly recommend her!

I got married in June and Tammy was my makeup artist. She was very professional, friendly, and super competent. I usually don’t wear any makeup, so I was quite scared to put on any makeup. Tammy kept the makeup light and natural, and made my eyes ‘popped’ by using the eyeliner and fake eyelashes. My husband said my eyes look very beautiful that day, and now he wants me to learn Tammy’s tricks! Both the moms and all the bridesmaids got their makeup done as well, and she definitely made everyone feel special and beautiful. I highly recommend Tammy for any special occasions.
On a side note, Tammy recommended a lipstick and lipgloss that I needed for my wedding day for touchups, but when I went to the store, the lipgloss was discontinued. I called Tammy, and the next day, she went looking for a replacement lipgloss for me, and emailed me rightaway on which one to get. She is really responsive to emails or phone calls. Go with Tammy, you will not regret it.

and she is wonderful. First of all, Tammy saved my wedding. Like an idiot, two days before my wedding I let someone talk me into a facial when I was getting my eye brows done at a spa. I left with a huge red mark/​scab thing. (That’s another review.) Tammy was able to cover it up beautifully and I got tons of compliments on my wedding day.

and hired her after I panicked and canceled on the make-​up person I originally hired because I thought she was too rude and intense, not what I needed for my wedding day. Tammy was just the opposite. She is really nice and easy-​going. After my trial session I had her do my make-​up for my engagement photo session and liked the dramatic look so much that I had it done that way for the wedding.
I am Japanese and have really small eyes, and Tammy was able to open them up with shadows and fake lashes, no eye tape needed! I still looked like me, just a more dramatic me!
