We lease a copier from GGOS and I’m quite happy with the service we currently receive. I have had problems in the past with a woman who «catches» the calls, but now that we have software installed on our copier that automatically orders toner and waste cartridges for us it’s been smooth sailing.

Terrible customer service.

Literally the worst. Not only are they extremely rude and unhelpful, they also NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE. And to top it off, their printers never work.

In my nearly 20 years of working with different copier company service departments and people, I’ve never come to meet folks who are more service oriented and straight shooting.
The level of integrity, for this industry of smoke and mirrors, is unmatched.
The level of a truly caring service staff and rapid response (usually same day/​within hours) is comparable to nowhere else.
I’ve done business with many different copier companies for the decades. For years, I haven’t had to look any further that these pros!

I have worked with Golden Gate Office Solutions for 5 years and they were very supportive and was there when I needed them. I give them 5 stars because they are a Outstanding Company to do business with.

So after using big box stores and online retailers and always getting crapy products that when they broke I was left to deal with an 800 number and never a solution I tried local.
Opps, I should have came here first. I mean not only do I have a SF company but I also live here I should have supported a small business in the first place instead of trying to save a few bucks up front and then paying twice as much in the end.
They originally recommended machines that were much more conducive to our use and we have hardly any problems with them.
We have a small office, 12 printers, and we were constantly replacing them or trying to have them repaired. The ink cost was killing us but the worst part was the service. It was an emotional challenge to get any tech support.
Not with Golden Gate, they pick up the phones and on the occasions they didnt they call back immediately. The service guys are awesome, professional and friendly. Instead of me driving back to a box store, waiting in line, having my equipment shipped off and being told to be patient, these guys come out here and on the few occasions we needed them they fixed the things on the spot.
I will never again have to call Best Buy, HP, Samsung etc etc, Golden Gate has my back.

I’ve never stepped inside the office, but I do deal with them on a monthly basis, and I gotta say: Ryan, that guy’s got the patience of Mother Theresa.
He walked me through the steps of checking the printer for any faults or issues and was exceptionally pleasant about it.
Happy to continue doing business with them.

Please don’t give these guys business when there are much more pleasant document solutions out there. Try KBA Docusys. The owner gets belligerent and is rough to work with, they charge 50% more than KBA for the same hardware and their service contracts are higher-​priced as well.
Also, the positive reviews here talk about next-​day service when every other competitor like Rabbit and KBA offer same day. Do yourself a favor and look the others up.

Worst. Place. Ever
I was working on a campaign and we needed a short-​term printer rental. They brought it and set it up, but when I realized we were going to print way more than we budgeted for I was unable to get in touch with anyone to change the contract. Literally spent months calling and emailing with no response.
Also, when I called once during lunch (to be told the woman who could change my contract «wasn’t available», shocker) the guy answering the calls scolded me for eating while on the phone. Pardon me Miss Manners, I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to consume an apple while trying to get new toner.
Find a bum on Market and have him transcribe your documents for you. It will be a better and more trustworthy deal than anything this place has to offer

My church has used their service for years for a copier. When contract renewal time came up, they beat every other price I was able to find. Service has been excellent. We’ve only had one technical issue with the copier, and they had a guy out to fix it the next day. No other problems. We’ll definitely continue using them.

These guys care only about their bottom line! They offered me a deal on a used copy machine and I went on-​line and found the same machine New, with shipping, for less. I then decided to have them repair my old machine to the tune of $ 648. only to find the same problems in the machine a month later. When I called them about it they sent their guy out to look at it, he said there wasn’t anything that he could do, and they sent me a bill for $ 185 for servicing the machine. They called last week to say that their accountant had screwed up and they couldn’t find a record of my paying a $ 155. service charge in 2008. I payed cash, but since I didn’t have a canceled check from two years ago they’re trying to charge me again. Avoid them and if you do go in don’t believe anything that a salesman tells you. Always check out the prices on Price grabber and don’t trust their book keeping!!! I only gave them one star because I had to.

I called in to find out if they serviced HP Designjet Plotters. The guy on the other end of the line got really confused, eventually saying he’d never heard of the brand «designjet.‘
So, this tells me GGOS is not the place to get your plotter serviced!

A salesman contacted my non profit organization offering «donations».
Yes the equipment would be donated BUT they wanted to charge hundreds of dollars per year for a «service contract» and demaned we buy toner from then exlusivley at a price significantly higher then prices on the internet.
We declined their «donation»

They don’t ever answer their phone and there is no voice mail; it just rings and rings.

They are horrible, we had someone come in to fix our machine we got a bill for more than the machine was worth, I called and spoke to someone who explained sorry thats just how they do business and if we wanted a estmate instead it would have cost the same amout it as it did to have someone come in to fix it.
Dont do business with them they will take your money and have no problems doing it.
