I absolutely love this place! It is definitely my new go to for mani/​pedis. Kaylee and Trina are so awesome! You can tell Kaylee truly cares about her customers. They even put sunscreen on your hand for gel manicures to protect your skin against the UV rays. I thought that was an exceptionally nice touch. Highly recommend this place!

I recently moved back to the bay area after 7 years in Chicago and have been looking for a go-​to nail salon for the past year! I may have finally found the glass slipper with Good Looks. The owner is so sweet and the place is beautiful! They make you feel important and are perfectionists, so do really great work.
I brought a client here recently and we both loved our mani/​gel mani/​pedis. Recommended it to everyone in my office and now they’re checking it out, too! :-) Give them a try!

Adorable place with great staff! They did an amazing job and accommodated a same day appointment at 6pm during the work week. The women were very nice and attentive, and did a super thorough job! Place was very clean as well. FYI it’s set up in a non traditional way so not a large room with a bunch of chairs but rather smaller individual rooms, and no official mani/​pedi stations, but it works. Highly recommend!

Came here after work on a weekday and they still took me in even near closing so that was very nice! It’s different in that there are no actual «nail stations» set up. I sat on the sofa and someone came over and did my nails on my lap. The lady who helped me was super nice. Only complaint would be she pushed my cuticles a bit too hard. Overall, for the price i’m pretty satisfied. Polish wasn’t exactly applied on the best but i think this is because she was literally doing it on my lap and can’t avoid moving here and there, but still gotta observe the upcoming weeks to determine staying power! They like cash, so try to bring that in when you go! Everyone who worked there was super friendly though

This place was adorible, totally unexpected. Completly reasonably priced. A great day out with my bestie. We loved the hot stone massage, and the time they took to make everything perfect. We would defiantly go back, we so fun!

This review is LONG LONG overdue :) I have been going to Good Looks Salon for over a year and I wont go anywhere else!
I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and was SOO happy to find Kaylee. It is extremely convenient to do a lunch time mani pedi in FIDI… quick, professional, peaceful, clean and they do an amazing job :) What more could a girl ask for!
She moved into a new spot a week ago and it is adorable! It is a must see :)

I came in here to get my nails done before the holidays and I made my appointment the same day. Unfortunately, they didn’t have an appointment available at lunch but they were able to fit me in at 2. I really appreciated that, some salons always say yes and try to squeeze everyone in. They really take the time to pay attention to each clients nails. I got a gel manicure for $ 30, a little pricey but worth it. It lasted for about 2 and half weeks before it started chipping, and I am pretty rough on my hands/​nails. I will definitely make this my regular spot.

I found this place on Unilocal,came in on an appointment and never looked back. Kaylee and her team always delivers, especially at reasonable prices for FIDI. I have a usual of gel mani, regular pedi, and if I’m in need of it, Kaylee always does my eyebrows to perfection. I’ve gone to other places for hasty eyebrow waxing, which have 99% of the time led to mistakes. Kaylee inevitably had to fix them. As for nails, Kaylee and her team have always provided quality work and customer service. I always leave very satisfied with my nails and brows :)
Do call in as they book up quickly!

I come here for a lunchtime or after work mani and pedi. The staff is friendly and professional, and they do not rush their work. The salon smells nice (not like nail chemicals) and is cozy. Also, they have a great selection of colors to choose from. One time, the owners was happy to fix a nail that chipped right after my appointment for free, which I appreciated.
Only negatives are that the prices are slightly higher than what I pay outside of the FiDi and I wish they would take more time to remove calluses on feet. Also, I’ve never had the stone massage that other reviewers mention. But, overall very positive experiences with good results!

Great place for a lunch break mani pedi. One of the better gel mani’s I’ve gotten in SF with a good selection of colors. It’s never too loud or busy in there and they really take their time with you.

A co-​worker and i decided to take our lunch break for some girl time. We made an appointment a few days before, which was super easy.
When we arrived, at first we missed the entrance to the building. However the address numbers are very clear so as long as you pay attention, you won’t miss it. We signed in at the front desk and went up the salon.
We were greeted immediately, told to choose our colors for our nails, and were shown to our seats within a few minutes. Not a moment was wasted in getting us settled, comfortable and straight to work! The ladies were all smiles, very kind and professional.
The first thing i noticed when we walked in was that it didn’t smell like a nail salon. You know, that chemically, nail-​polish remover smell that slaps you in the face until you acclimate to the air? It wasn’t there! That made this place feel more like a little cozy spa than a nail salon.
The hot stones and massages were great. They made the relaxation experience all the better. For a quick lunch hour manicure, they couldn’t have squeezed more awesome in if they tried.
I also squeezed in an eyebrow waxing and although this made me run over my time to get back to work on time, i’d still do it again. The lady who did the waxing was very gentle. I’m always a sneezer with the plucking, but with her, i didn’t sneeze once! Inconceivable!
All in all, i’m definitely coming back here. Very little wait time, great ladies, great service, and the prices are reasonable, being in SF. $ 15 for a mani, and $ 15 for the waxing. My co-​worker got a pedi, and she paid $ 28.
Only one note, be prepared to bring cash to tip. They have a sign saying they can’t accept tips on credit cards anymore. Not sure why, but next time i’ll be prepared.

Super sweet employees. They always find time to fit you into the schedule and have never made me feel like they did a rush job on my nails even if they were super busy.
4 stars and not 5 because I wish their facilities were bigger and that there was more room beween the chairs. Other than the size of their space, their customer service is great!

Dont tell my manicurist, I cheated on her! I came here during my lunch break because I needed to get my nails done before the weekend.
I booked my appointment in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in during lunch. A gentleman did my pedi and gel mani. He was very friendly and he really took his time in perfecting my nails.
I saw a lady walk in mistaking this nail salon for a different one and when she asked if they could just do her nails here, they actually told her they didn’t have time. I know it sounds bad but I actually have to give them some brownie points for not overbooking and respecting their clients’ time.
Overall, I would come back if I am in the area and I don’t have time to go to my usual spa.
Gel mani with one nail design and regular pedi = $ 68+ tips. The place I go to charges the same but it would include 3d designs.
Ohh and make sure you have at least 1.5 hours to spare because they really do try to perfect their clients’ nails.

What a cute little shop. It’s on the second floor of an office building right on Market Street. I was also told there is an additional entrance on Sutter Street, but that it is more tricky if you’ve never been here before.
I walked in at 1:30PM on a Tuesday. It was quiet, two women were both working, but I was greeted and was told it would be a few minutes. I was sat in a pedicure chair and got to soakin’ in no time. I’m sad I didn’t catch the woman’s name who helped me, but boy, did she hook me up! (I believe she was the owner.)
She was super thorough, but gentle, and quick, but efficient. I even got a hot stone massage! It was exactly what I needed. This place is so close to my office, that I will have to start coming here for my lunch break more often. Such a great find.

Great atmosphere. Very relaxing mint green on the walls. Good music — mainstream. Good polish selection!!! Location was confusing at first. Have to come inside the building then get in the elevator to the second floor. Massage chairs don’t actually massage you :(I think I’ll come back for a wax in the future. Nice and tucked away, doesn’t open to the street obviously. They have Formula X for my fellow junkies out there…

I’ve been coming to this hidden gem of a salon for years. Kaylee and the staff are all just artists in their craft!
The salon is a tad hidden. 2^nd Floor located now next to a nice new Starbucks! The salon is always clean. You are greeted promptly and the location just can’t be beat! Close to FiDi.
Kaylee is also the master of threading & waxing. Need I say more???
This salon is open past 7pm– so all us working women & men can get yer mani pedis after hours.

What a find! I may be scheduling lunch break pedicures more often now, with Good Lucks so conveniently located near the office. I called in morning to schedule 2 pedis for lunchtime, and they got us in no problem. The salon is really intimate and tastefully decorated, and the ladies who work here were so sweet. They offer you tea or lemon water when you arrive, and they have little candy jars throughout. It’s no champagne, but it’s a nice touch!
The pedi itself was SO thorough. Tons of prep before the actual polish, including calf massage, loufa scrub, hot stone rub, and gentle cuticule and nail trimming. They have a small polish selection with OPI and Sephora X brand stuff. I forgot to bring sandals so the technician offered to wrapped my feet in saran wrap before putting my socks back on… totally did the trick!
$ 28 for a very thorough pedi in a relaxing tucked away spot. I’m down!

i have been here on and off for almost 2 years now. This place always makes me come back because of the service and skills.
Kaylee is very sweet and very talented. She is always so busy and able to take care several people at once.
This place is very clean, they always use different new bag for every customer. which what i love.
Atmosphere very calm and relaxing.
They don’t do spa pedicure but they use clean tube of water every time.

The sweetest of staff makes any business stellar.
I was in need of a pedi and pampering. I forget her name, but the owner did my toes. I wanted shellac and something simple so I went for the french tip. I love my toes and left with a big smile on my face. Prices are quite average. Shellac french tip is ~$ 50. Don’t forget to tip!

This place look clean and nice when you first enter. It’s just a façade!!!
I came here for a manicure. Before we got started I told the women don’t cut to much of my cuticle. My cuticle are sensitive. She said ok. When she started cutting my cuticle I relies she was cutting to much. I ask her again. Please don’t cut to much of my cuticle. She didn’t answer me. She look at me in a angry way and keep cutting. I should of have stop the service. Before I could tell her again. SHE CUTS ME!!! Sigh! I was really upset.
A week have pass and now I have an INFECTION!!! My doctor told me the equipments they used were not clean!!! I have to take antibiotics to get rid of the infection!!! A $ 14 manicure become hundreds of dollars in medical bills!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
This women should be FIRE!!! She was rude and she didn’t understand what I was saying. I really don’t know how this place got 4 STARS!!! The women who work on me didn’t even know or understand English!!! All she keep asking me was cut or file!!! That should have been a sign to leave!!!

I just got back to my office after getting a gel manicure here. I don’t have time to go back and complain about all the things wrong that I noticed. I was in and out within an hour.
During my nail experience, I thought that the technician was amazing. She meticulously cut away my cuticles and made sure my color was consistent– 3 coats of gel polish. It’s not until I was walking back and sitting at my desk I’ve noticed the following:
–cuticles are painted on
–pinky has a chunk of lint/​cotton fur on it
–inconsistent coloring (despite efforts)
–painted under my nails (I understand you need to brush the top part to cure it but UNDER?)
–cut on my right ring finger (no photo included. who wants to see blood?)

For $ 30+tip for a pretty awful paint job, I don’t think I’ll ever come here again. I’ll just stick to my favorite nail salon in the Richmond.
