They employ a former gay pornography “star” that appeared in many hardcore gay sex videos including ones featuring anal sex, bondage, fisting, whipping and rough sex. His name is Tad Biskup and he appeared in gay films as Morgan Black. As if this was not strange enough, Mr. Biskup was a Pennsylvania State Trooper, He claims a bad car accident for not being a trooper anymore, but how, why does a form state trooper (and Army veteran) end up being a sadistic gay porn star in less than a year? Although I’m not 100% sure, it appears as if he has a satanic tattoo and a satanic necklace in some of the vile videos. We’ve dealt with GC for a while and we’ve been pleased with their services each time. However, at a recent business gathering, GC became part of the conversation and someone said “You know they hired a former devil worshiping gay S & M porn star?” I was stunned and embarrassed after saying how good their services are and we like the company…I felt like some sleazy, dirty person that approves of such things, especially devil worship. I/we also felt betrayed and mislead into thinking this was a high quality, professional business with a decent reputation. It makes me wonder what else goes on at GC that is a secret? How does that make me and other clients appear to the people we deal with in knowing a devil worshping gay porn star was part of the work? Even for San Francisco’s standers, this is disturbing and vile. Go to GC’s website and read about their employees and you’ll see Biskup’s photo…Google Morgan Black gay porn star and you’ll see they are one and the same. A very deceitful place with low standers and morals.

Questionable service. Pretty bad interior aesthetic. And read the fine print.
Those are the headlines. They were flaky hard to reach as well.
I contracted them for a mid-​century home for sale in SF. They seem to pay no attention to the aesthetic of the home nor care. My sense is that they’re too busy, staff is overwhelmed. The home is easily under 1500 sq ft. The initial quote for a 2 month period was over $ 10k. Got that down to $ 8k is, but they got it back again when they kept the furniture in my home after the 2 month period without my permission and charged me for it. Apparently, there is some language in the contract regarding this, but I was busy /​unaware and suddenly was charged. Pretty uncool.
I would not recommend these guys at all.

Green Couch staged my home in Noe Valley and it sold in 3 weeks. They were friendly, on-​time, willing to fix anything that needed to be changed, and had an honest contract compared to other stagers in town. My home was stunning due to their design, and their prices reasonable again, compared to other high end stagers in town. Darren was a design genius and I hope he will come decorate my new home. Rene

These guys are amazing. So efficient. Great style. They really listen to what I want and they get it. They work with in your budget and they are realistic!!! I love this design company.
They didn’t waste a lot of my time. They got all their ideas together in a proposal made just for the work on my place with photos, estimates of time and hardware. When I needed measurements for flooring and windows and furniture they did all in one hour. I only paid a deposit that was 10% of the total cost.
I worked with some other designer, and he was terrible and charged me a ton for stuff I didn’t like so be careful who you choose.
There guys are so professional and cool, young and fresh. They have done some amazing open houses, that’s when I first heard about them and they designed my co workers home and it was beautiful. I get compliments ALL the time and I how my home feels and looks. Thanks LISA!

These guys were super stars in helping us with our recent home remodel– we couldn’t have done it without them! They both helped us with all the necessary materials for our kitchen (which was the focal point of our project) from the counter tops down to details of the hardware peices. They also hooked us up with an extraoridinary cabinet maker who designed specifically for our kitchen. We are loving every bit of our new cooking space!
In addition, I can’t say enough about Tray’s ability to choose colors. She helped us with each and every room of our home and we constantly get compliments. Unfortunately, we were not abIe to remodel an upstairs bathroom due to budget constraints, but Tray was magically able to help turn the outdated ‘grandma pink bathroom’ into a more contemporary, pleasing space by a simple color trick.
It’s so nice to be able to work with individuals who are fun, detail-​oriented, professional, and have incredible taste that we know will last us many years!

I contacted Green Couch after seeing a review of them for their staging services on a real estate blog. After a brief conversation, they scheduled an appointment for interior design services. Ok so far.
A few days later, I met with Jeff. He seemed nice, took a look around my place and said he would get back to me with some ideas. No measurements, no pictures, not much of anything.
A few days later, he calls and wants to hit me with a $ 250 bill for the «free» initial consultation. WTF? Put down the crack pipe! After a short conversation we saw eye to eye on my side of the issue. Jeff then said, that he just hired a new designer Lisa B. and that it would be best to work with her as he was not really a designer but more of a stager. I agreed and made a «free» consultation appointment with Lisa B.
Lisa showed up at my house, late and unprepared. No camera, no measurements etc. After a initial consultation, she promised to provide me a sample mock up for my review. Being so unprepared, I had to give her my only copy of my floor plan. We met a week later, and she presents to me a mock up that consisted of 75% of the items I pointed out to her. Let me get this straight, I show the designer examples of what I like and she then puts my suggestions in a binder and wants to bill me for it. Anyhow, she handed me a contract for my review. She also informed me that she did not bring my plans with her.
A few days later I called to discuss the contract. To my suprise, I found a bill for her «free consultation.» When I brought this up, I was told that I received a free consultation when Jeff came out and did nothing to follow up. Again, WTF? When I asked if they would waive the fee they became insulted and refused to work with me. Moreover, they kept my blueprints and have not returned them even after I have left 3 voice mails for them.
Totally unprofessional, totally unethical. With service like this, they should be out of business soon, or at least I would hope so.

These guys helped stage our condo for sale
. They were punctual, direct, friendly, efficient and clean. Jeff showed up for a consult the same day we called them. Tray was able to gracefully navigate the color consult with client’s opinionated mother. They were able to work with some existing furniture and art choices as well as a budget. The staff was polite and quick with the install. Their design sense is contemporary and shows off our property amazingly well.
Pricey, but quality of vision and customer service makes it worth it.

I was introduced to green couch when they purchased some furniture from my store, so this is my totally unbiased review :) (full disclosure)
After working with them for over a year and seeing the type furniture they use I am very impressed. They use some very high dollar stuff that I doubt you would find at almost any other staging companies. They even make custom pieces on some occasions to maximize the look of the particular job they are doing. In fact we once had a little drama over a custom piece that they wanted perfect for their customer and they were not 100% satisfied. They bent over backward for the customer and spent double to have the piece re-​made to be perfect. This was impressive to me because it shows their dedication to their client. But also from a B to B perspective they handled everything very professionally as well, in a case where they could have been dicks (i.e. — they were not happy and still had not paid… they could have not paid but they did… which many people would not)
I’m surprised about the couple of poor reviews because they just seem totally out of character, from what I know at least, that there must be more than just what has been said. Every story has 2 sides and then the truth… in any case… spilled milk…
In term of their design prowess all you have to do is look at the web site to see how amazing it is. I have delivered to their job sites and seen the work in person — I see a lot of furniture… it’s my job for christ sake… and they are by far the best I have seen in the bay area.
