History

Established in 2006.

Our name was inspired by Bob Ross, the painter on PBS. He was always putting a little happy tree by the little happy stream.

We wanted to make a business that used quality parts, did things right the first time, treated people like we would want a plumber to treat our mothers & charge a fair market price to earn a living. We don’t make everyone happy, but we try. We strive very hard to ensure that each customer who chooses us, gets excellent value for their money.

We seek to be competitive in our pricing & sometimes we hit the mark and sometimes we miss. Our price book pricing is an average pricing of the 4 price books we had from the companies we worked for as we learned our trade.

If you are happy with our work & you would use us again, recommend us to your friends, then we are doing what we set out to do. Cheapest companies are usually going out of business or don’t care. We strive for middle pricing as best we can so we can focus on best solutions for your home or business.

Former IT Director for Mac Publishing, I was forced to find a new career when the dot com crash happened. Took a job @ $ 10 an hour digging holes to learn plumbing. Joke that I am the only plumber I know that can replace your sewer line and program your Cisco firewall. Have forgotten most of my high level tech stuff now, but it tells you where I have been and where I am going.

I bring a white collar mentality to this blue collar profession and sometimes it bites me, most of the time it serves my customers exceptionally well.

We try to offer multiple solutions to a problem when at all possible and then give you information so that you can make an informed choice about what you want us to do to take care of your plumbing needs.

As far as I know, I am the only licensed gay plumber in the bay area. I support AIDS & Breast Cancer causes and I try very hard to leave this world a better place when I am gone than when I arrived.
