Description

Specialties

Walk in to our beautiful location, enjoy some tea or fruit infused water and choose from our list of services… We specialize in deep-tissue massage with a structural focus that includes our signature hot stone therapy. We integrate hot stones in all of our massages because the heat warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure. The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system.

Our Estheticians use a combination of medical-grade and organic skincare products and specialize in customizing each treatment to compliment all skin types and concerns. We are proud to feature Lira Clinical Treatments (including 11 medical-grade peels and 44 different treatments!) and Phyt’s Organique Skincare from France. We also offer Microdermabrasion, Rejuvenating Back Treatments, and full body waxing.

All of our bodyworkers and estheticians are CA State certified. We are proudly 100% handicap accessible (ADA compliant).

History

Established in 1999.

Candace Combs started In-Symmetry with the goal of providing quality bodywork and skin care at affordable prices. She and her business partner began adding like-minded therapists and estheticians in 2003, continuing the commitment to quality deep tissue, hot stone work. Featuring a deep tissue Zen massage with their signature hot stone work as well as an anti-gravity lymphatic drainage hot stone facial (say that ten times fast!), In-Symmetry aims to be the «Trader Joe’s of massage», and Candace continues to keep prices low a stellar membership program.

After a year-long hiatus, In-Symmetry reopened a beautiful new location in December of 2011. Three massage/yoga rooms, an acupuncture room, and an esthetician room keep this small, locally owned and operated company busy, and the intimate size ensures casual, personal service and a community of relaxation and health.

Meet the Business Owner

Candace C.

Business Owner

After six years in the tech industry, Candace turned away from the cold world of computers and pursued a more people-oriented career. In 2000 she completed a basic Shiatsu course at the San Francisco School of Massage, which piqued her interest in bodywork. She continued to study a range of healing modalities, including Cranial Sacral therapy, Watsu, prenatal massage, and, most influentially, structural bodywork. Since 1999, massage has been her passion and driving force. She recognizes the critical importance of human touch and therapeutic bodywork, and strives to keep this valuable health service accessible to all income levels and walks of life.
