I wrote a review on this before but she must delete bad reviews on here. Long story short, I ordered a cake and cupcakes from her for my daughter’s birthday and she was so UNPROFESSIONAL! When she wasn’t returning my calls, that should have already been a red light. When I did speak to her, I told her everything that I wanted and she gave me the price and everything. When I tried to get a hold of her, it took me awhile to speak to her (bad communicator) but when I finally spoke to her to add more cupcakes, she was saying a hole different amount for the price range but it wasn’t a big deal to me because as far as her work on Unilocal,it look like she does an amazing job. I sent her the pictures and everything of how I wanted the cake and cupcake and left everything in her hands. The day of the pick up, I wasn’t able to get the cake because I was at work so I had my cousin get it. When I seen the cake I was so mad. It didn’t look anything that I wanted. If I was the one who picked it up I wouldn’t even have took it. I was soooo dissappointed but my daughters birthday party was the next day. I was better off buying a cake from a store! She charged me $ 400 for the WORST CAKE MY DAUGHTER HAS EVER HAD! This was my daughters 1^st birthday party she is now 3! This is something I will NEVER FORGET!!! I’m really surprised that the review I made here was deleted!

Jasmine is a total pro and you can see from her website that she’s got the skills to match! So many amazing looking designs.
She designed our wedding cake and we loved the look and taste. The process was quick too, a month at most. We chatted with her team about our wedding colors, cakes we liked from Pinterest, and flavors. The next thing we knew, she had produced a few sketches that we loved! We chose one and added a few notes. On the Big Day, she delivered exactly what we wanted, on time, and it tasted amazing.
Can’t wait til our 1 year anniversary to eat it again!

Jasmine Rae did our cake for our wedding on November 7^th 2015. Not only was the cake one of the best wedding cakes I ever had, everyone was blown away at the creativity and design. The colors were perfect and so was the artistry and texture to capture where we were getting married. Thank you for helping with a big part of our wedding and making our cake truly special.

Jasmine was the baker/​designer for our wedding cake through our vendor (Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco) for our wedding this past October. Jasmine was very accommodating and courteous both via email, phone and in-​person. After meeting her for our cake tasting, in which she prepared four gorgeous samples of cake (all of which had very sophisticated and varying flavors and textures), we were absolutely convinced that we wanted her to create the cake for our wedding. She was very open to our ideas, both in terms of flavors and design, and worked with us to create two flavors that we would use in our final wedding cake.
We had looked at her portfolio (
) beforehand and were impressed by her cake designs — not only are they unique, they exude a sophistication and restraint that is hard to find in a lot of cake designs today. She’s truly an artist and we left it up to her to design a cake of her choosing, knowing that we’d love whatever she made for us. And we did — the cake we got on our wedding day was beautiful and many of our guests could not stop raving about how lovely it was. More importantly, the cake itself was delicious — not too sweet, the texture of the cake was fine and moist — one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted. I wholeheartedly recommend Jasmine to anyone looking for a special occasion cake — wedding or not — you will not be disappointed in whatever she creates.

We met Jasmine several times to discuss the design of our wedding cake because we had a specific idea in mine. We wanted her to design our cake to resemble a marble sculpture that my Grandma had made, called «Ode to Humankind». Not only did she execute said design to a T, she was a joy to work with and the cake was THE BEST CAKE I’VE EVER TASTED, (and typically I don’t even like cake-I’m more of a frosting gal) even the fondant, (which normally tastes like glue paste) was delicious.
We chose a Lemon-​Lavender Cake with Passion Fruit Curd as the filling and a Mascarpone Frosting, (for the sheet cake)…we needed the fondant for the structural integrity of the ceremony cake. I can’t tell you how many people told us this was the absolute best cake they’ve ever tasted.
We can’t recommend Jasmine Rae Bakery enough. She will forever be our go-​to baker for special events in the years ahead of us and we are so grateful we chose her for our special day, (thanks Mom for finding her) – can’t wait to have that cake again on our 1^st anniversary!

We chose Jasmine to do the wedding cake for my daughter’s wedding. This bakery is unparalleled for artistry with the most unusual flavors and designs. Just from looking at her portfolio (
), we knew that her cakes were exceptionally creative. We did not know how delightful Jasmine would be and how closely her cake would replicate the design we had in mind. Her pricing was reasonable, the flavors available were incredible — and we had many guests say that this was the best cake they had ever tasted (lemon lavender with passion fruit filling). I would never hesitate to recommend Jasmine to anyone.

Jasmine Rae went above and beyond in creating an AMAZING wedding cake for my wedding this past summer!
We had the pleasure of meeting her at her studio the week of our wedding to do a tasting of the concoction we had planned over the phone. Living in Colorado and planning a destination wedding in SF was stressful enough, but Jasmine had our back! We had an initial consultation over the phone where Jasmine was able to get to know us. After a brief phone call, she was able to design and create a beautiful masterpiece that will be remembered for the rest of our lives
She created a dirty coconut cake with an almond frangipan and passionfruit curd that was OMG spectacular and shaped like a rough, block of wood with flowers growing out of the top of it! I can report that after the cake was cut and distributed that there was not a simple crumb left on anyone’s plate at our reception. In addition, almost everyone proclaimed it to be the best cake that they had ever eaten in their lives (myself included)!
I am not the biggest fan of sweets, and Jasmine represented the cake so amazing well that the flavor profiles really came through instead of an overpowering sense of sugary sweet.
Lastly, the design of the cake was so phenomenal that it blew everyone’s minds! It was so well designed and built, that the photographers actually mistook the cake for a reception prop and had to go back in to take pictures of the cake.
I would not re-​do the decision to go with Jasmine Rae Bakery at all! Her cake performed so well and was everything that I could have asked for and more! I had «painting party» at an art studio, and asked Jasmine to create a cake that looked like individual paint jars. What she came up with was incredible. No one at the party realized the cake was actually edible.
I worked with her in the past, and each cake is more amazing than the other. The price point may seem a bit expensive, but I assure you it is worth every dime!

Jasmine made the most amazing wedding cake for my husband and I. The cake was delicious and it looked exactly how I envisioned it.
I can’t wait until our first anniversary to revisit that delicious cake slice we’re keeping.

OMG. She is the best an awesome baker ever! She was able to make my son’s first bday cake look exactly as the real giants hat! So detail and that comes with real skill. Everyone loved it! On top of that the banana nut cake with cream cheese frosting was soooo good n not too sweet. Totally recommend this place for great memorable cake.

I found Jasmine through her well-​earned Unilocal reviews. She baked my wedding cake recently, a small but incredibly rich chocolate confection with salted caramel and a hint of hot pepper. The flavors were incredibly balanced and the cake was so moist inside.
For the outside of the cake I had *no* idea how I wanted, but she took some of the offhand suggestions I tossed out there and produced a beautiful, elegant, and cohesive look from my insanity. It was absolutely masterful, and there is no way the rest of this cake is making it to the freezer to wait a year.

Unbelievable!!! I contacted Jasmine on ⁸⁄₂₃ to see if she can make a cake for my son’s first birthday for this coming November. She told me yes and to email her what design I would like. I emailed her the very same day and never heard from her again. It’s ⁰⁹⁄₁₄ already and still no reply or call back. I understand you might be busy and it’s okay to tell me you can’t make it, but please… don’t promise something you can’t deliver.

I cannot recommend Jasmine Rae enough. She fit me in her busy schedule at just 2 weeks to countdown and was responsive and communicative to my every request. She is a true artist in design and execution and a perfectionist in creating unique flavor combinations. She will do right by you in every respect. Bravo to Jasmine! A real pro.

I chose Jasmine for my wedding cake because I knew I wanted a matcha green tea cake and looked for an SF bakery that could give me my dream cake. I was totally surprised with Jasmine’s set up, which isn’t a storefront but a space in an artist’s building on Bryant. I had told her that I really wanted a matcha cake with passionfruit filling for one layer and dark chocolate with raspberry filling for the other layer. She prepared these two cupcakes as well as a lemon/​raspberry and caramel cupcakes for my tasting. She was so much fun to work with and has amazing recipes.
On my wedding day, the cake was at the end of a 10 course chinese banquet. Everyone was already in a food coma but when that cake was served, everyone came back to life and the party kept going! Many people told me it was the best wedding cake they have every had and I have to agree (although I might be slightly biased).
It was very important to me that all of the food on my wedding day be really good (since I am such a foodie) and Jasmine Rae gave me my dream cake. I would recommend her to anyone looking for unique flavors in a high quality product. The ingredients were top notch and very fresh.

Jasmine Rae– A pleasure to work with, and you’ll receive interesting flavors that I doubt you will find anywhere else! I purchased a 30 cupcake deal via DailyCandy, and called Jasmine to place the order 2 weeks before the date. She informed me that I could either choose one flavor, or she could do a random assortment. I opted for the random assortment, and let her know it was for a kid’s birthday, so we would prefer flavors that little kids could enjoy as well.
I threw away the box where she wrote down the flavors, but from what I can remember they were–
–Lemon Cupcake w/​Lemon Curd and Meringue Frosting
–Raspberry Cupcake with Marscapone Frosting Topped w/​Chocolate Chips
–Chocolate Salted Caramel Cupcake
–I think a Chocolate Cupcake w/​Cinnamon Frosting
My favorite was the raspberry cupcake, since it had actual raspberries in the cake! A lot of people like the lemon cupcake and the chocolate salted caramel cupcake, and I had many inquiries as to where I purchased the cupcakes. I wish that Jasmine Rae had a storefront so that I didn’t have to purchase at least 1 dozen of her fabulous cupcakes at a time, but her baked goods are definitely worth a try!

I have never met Jasmine Rae, never set foot in her bakery, and yet I am *IN LOVE* with her cupcakes!!! Two of my friends got married a few weeks ago here in San Francisco, and had her cupcakes (and a small cake) at the reception… I also was lucky enough to sample them in advance the evening after they’d done a tasting with her… on both occasions, my mouth was set ablaze with explosions of beautiful flavors that really married one another perfectly… in short, her cupcakes are DELICIOUS!!!
I’d like to add that had I walked into her bakery, I never would’ve ordered any of these four flavors that I tried, because I’m really very boring when it comes to my taste in sweets: I’ve always preferred simplicity, plain ol’ dark chocolate or lemon, nothing too fancy or complicated for my palate.
But OH!!! What I would’ve missed out on if my friends hadn’t convinced me to try these gorgeous flavor combinations!!!
My favorite was the Dark Chocolate with Kumquat… so rich, such a great flavor combination!!! More complex than the usual orange-​with-​chocolate thing, with a big, thick layer of swirled ganache frosting on top…*drool*!!!
My second favorite was the Chai Tea with Brown Sugar & Burnt Caramel… Absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!! This was also my husband’s favorite of the four, a surprise to me that I loved it, since I don’t generally like chai flavoring! A definite must-​try!!!
I also enjoyed the Peanut Butter Espresso Caramel & Sea Salt… YUM!!!
I don’t remember all of what was in the last one, but I’m pretty sure it had marsala wine in it, which is something I NEVER thought I’d ever enjoy in a cupcake… and yet it was addictive!!!
I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering my next birthday cake from Jasmine Rae!!! The only problem I foresee is which flavor to pick???

Found Jasmine Rae and purchased cupcakes for a birthday.
She was awesome! We decided to do a baker’s surprise assortment, she was going to give me a sampling of cakes she was using that week.
IT was a HIT!
She did a Salted Caramel Chocolate, a Saffron Pistachio with Saffron Whipped Cream, a Gram Masala Chocolate with Green Apple Goat Cheese frosting, and a Brown Butter Cake with Oregano Honey Almond Mash and Torched Almonds.
The cake was fabulous, moist and stuck together, not crumbly and the frostings really nice, dense when appropriate and light and fluffy whipped, not too sweet, not too much butter! My favs: the gram masala and the salted caramel… wait. I didn’t even get to try the Saffron one!!!

Jasmine Rae Bakery made my boyfriend’s birthday so amazing! I wanted to have a bakery make a Nikon D700 camera cake. I searched on the internet trying to find if anyone had attempted to make a Nikon camera cake before. I did found some photos of a Nikon D700 camera cake so I printed it out and started searching for a bakery that may be able to do it. When I search here on Unilocal,I found Jasmine Rae Bakery. I saw their photos of cakes and thought, may be she can make a cake that looks close to the real thing. I didn’t expected much honestly. With all the small details on the Nikon D700, I know it must be very difficult and technical to make.
I called Jasmine and she was so pleasant and accommodating. She was very patient and attentive as to what exactly what I wanted. I email her the picture of the camera cake I found on the internet. Honestly, there were so many small details on the Nikon D700 camera that I did not expect Jasmine to make the final product as close to the real camera as she did. I really under estimated her precious talents. The cake she made was 10 times better looking than the one I found on the internet. (I mean, just look at the pictures I posted on here!)
She pretty much got all the buttons, the actual camera size, signs on the buttons, camera lens, view finder, viewing screen… all the details, down to a T. She put so much heart into this piece of creation of hers. When I took out the cake after the birthday dinner, all our friends were surrounding the cake taking pictures for half an hour. We simply just couldn’t believe HOW REAL it looked and how great it tasted!
Few days later when I posted the Camera cake pictures on Facebook, EVERYBODY commented on it. Even friends of friends (people we didn’t even know) would ask us about it. People at parties would even say, «oh hey! we never met before but I saw your camera cake picture! The next few months, that was what everyone talked about when they saw my boyfriend & I. I felt so lucky to find Jasmine. The cake was way beyond what I can ever image. It tasted so great as well. It was chocolate. It tasted creamy, the sweetness was and the favor was just right. No one could get enough of it!
Jasmine should receive some kind of award for her «god-​given» talent. She must know some kind of magic to make cakes as beautiful as she does. You won’t be disappoint. I was so blessed to find this place! Thanks a million Jasmine! We’re going to remember this cake and this special birthday for the rest of our lives.

For my 21^st birthday, my roommates and best friends chipped in to get me the best cake to celebrate my transition from Princess Surge into Queen Surge.
Where did they get the cake suited for my taste? Jasmine Rae! When the cake came out I was convinced it was a real pineapple mounted on a plaque. I was amazed by the detail in color and shape. I could tell they got this cake from an amazing bakery.
Not only did the cake look amazing, it tasted just as great. Since it was a 3D pineapple, the pieces were enormous and there was plenty left after my party of 20 had a slice. The cake was rich with chocolate, dessert wine, and strawberry preserves. By far it was the best cake I have ever received.
I look forward to going to this bakery and repaying my roommates with their own Jasmine Rae original.

My boyfriend worked with Jasmine personally to create what I like to call a «designer cake» for me for my birthday and I could not have been more pleased with it. It was a complete surprise to me, and I could not wipe the cheesy smile off my face for the rest of the night.
She created a Piglet (yes, I’m an adult and still love Piglet… don’t judge me) champagne cake w/​raspberry icing that was SO pretty I did not want to eat it. It actually made me want to cringe when we were slicing up piglet’s face. The details on the cake were amazing!!! The shading and contouring were perfect. The cake was delicious, particularly because it wasn’t overwhelming sweet. The cake had multiple layers with icing in between– this was a little too much for me, but scraping off a few layers did the trick. The leftover cake saved well, and I was able to enjoy it throughout the week– taking the cake out of the fridge before dinner and letting it get to room temp made it just as enjoyable as the first bite!
