My parents and most of my aunts and uncles purchased their engagement rings from Emily, so I’ve been hearing about her store since I was little. I finally visited to make a custom ring order, and I could definitely see why my family only buys from her. Emily patiently helped me try on almost all the rings in her display, cleaned a necklace I was wearing for free, and sat with me for a long time to help me tweak the design I had in mind. She finished my ring in less than a week, and I could not be more happy with the final product! I highly recommend this store because Emily truly has a heart for her work as well as a heart for her customers.

My family has been going to the Jewelry & Gift Center for decades, specifically to a few jewelers, but not this one. When it was time for me to find an engagement ring in 2009, we just happened to look in JAC… and I’m so glad we did. I feel like they have more unique and modern selections, in addition to the traditional styles. I found the most amazing kite setting and perfect stone for my taste and budget. I went back a year later to get a wedding band… tailored to match my engagement ring and my preferences. Emily was very patient and helped me sort out my choices. She was a pleasure to work with.
We recently went back to the center to have some repairs done at another shop… but I wanted to stop at JAC. Emily remembered me (5 years later!) and offered to check and clean my rings, as well as my aunts (which were not purchased there). Of course its a business, so she made some anniversary and birthday suggestions — but I never felt like she was too pushy. In fact, I have been looking at tanzanite rings for awhile… and when the time is right I will be going back to have one made at JAC. Their selection, quality, and customer service are just outstanding.

This is the best jewelry store in the Entire Bay Area. Emily the owner and in business for 38 years in wonderful. She is honest and a wonderful designer. My wife just brought in some old pieces with diamonds and rubies. Emily is designing a ring that I am sure will be awesome. Emily is also working on a family air loom that was given to my wife by her mother, which she is adding diamonds to this hand made air deco ring. The price always makes me smile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JEWERY ART.

Super nice and fair prices. Christian owners. They even offered to clean our rings for free before the wedding. They don’t pressure you into anything and just want you to find something you’ll love.

I have only good things to say about Jewelry Art Center. As a customer, I have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and they listen to what you are saying. Their jewelry is of excellent quality and workmanship. If they do not have what you are looking for, they can design it for you. The staff are also great at making suggestions.

Very sweet and helpul staff, went in while i was at a Unilocal event and i was able to see the size of different carats to see what suited me best of course the bigger the better right?! Lol but just for fun i tried on a 3 carat princess cut ring and it was gorgeous. Definitely a welcoming place. Guys this is a place to definitely check out

We are so blessed to share our engagement ring shopping with Hilda. She is very knowledgeable and explained all aspects of the diamond ring we purchased. I highly recommend shopping here for all your jewelry needs. The entire staff including the jeweler were so welcoming and kind. We were welcomed with champagne and took several pictures while we were there. We felt like family.

This is the store that fulfilled my dreams. While looking for a ring for the girl of my dreams, I searched through dozens of stores to no avail. Finally I stumbled upon this cute family store. Curious about their selection, I entered and was warmly welcomed by the staff. I really appreciated Emily’s guidance as I looked for The one ring. The ring was beautiful. The craftsmanship was perfect and it looked beautiful. Trust me my wife said it did. I figured that this is the one and my wife loves it too. Happily married for a few months now, I am glad I went to Jewelry Art Center because joy starts with a J :) sorry lame pun. But overall I was extremely satisfied with their service and selection and I hope to get my next gift there maybe a necklace this time…

I had heard about this shop from my Sister. This is Jewelry cum Art Centre.
This center is for jewelry actually. They love their customer so much. Wed Ring here is available in an expected rate. For my Sister, her Hubby bought a cute Diamond Ring. It was so fantastic. The diamond stone was dazzling like a gem.
I love their colorful watches. Bought pink, red & blue that matches my favorite dresses, J.

This review is LONG overdue… I’m going to be quick about this, but I had heard about this place from a friend as I was looking for an engagement ring… Emily was the probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever come across. She was very patient and she never tried to sell me anything. I also had some very nice conversation with the other staff as well. You need to call in to be let in but it’s well worth it… Honestly I came out with a beautiful that (my now wife) loved and all for an amazing price (sounds a little rehearsed but nah, as genuine as possible). Loved it so much we ended going back to get our wedding rings done too and they made a custom ring too match the engagement ring… can’t say enough good things about this place, but if you’re in the market for jewelry, look no further than here.

I have shopped with Raffi for over 20 years, and I cannot say enough about his work it is beautiful. From the rings he has designed for me to the designs he makes, all my jewelry has been wonderful, and withstood the test of time. I think he is the best

One of our close friends referred us to this diamond wholesaler… well, my fiancée.
Haha, they have lots of good selection, though I haven’t seem ALL of it, but I came here with my fiancée to get my ring fitted and get a wedding band, but it turned out to be a swap to an engagement/​wedding band set.
Actually, I didn’t know that this place was open on Saturdays, so we called them to ask, and they said that they were open till 4pm. Now we were coming from the other side of the bay, and it was already 2:30pm, so we rushed as fast as we could to get to that place. I think we ended up reaching the office at 3:50pm, and ran all the way to that store.
Oh, there’s a main check-​in section and it’s quite a maze to find that actual jewelry store down there. What made things worse was that there was construction going on at that site, so we had to take a few detours… which meant that we got there past 4pm, AND they still let us in!
Ok, not just that they were super accommodating and super nice — YES, the lady was SUPER nice. I thought she was going to be upset that we were late and that we were taking in to their weekend, but she kept talking up a storm and made me feel so comfortable. She recognized my fiancée immediately and then came up to congratulate me a bunch of times.
And then she showed me a bunch of different wedding bands. Wow, SOOO many options. I can’t really tell them apart, but she took the time to explain each and every one.
AND this is the best part. So actually, I felt bad there since I didn’t do any research before hand. Usually, I would know more about the product, the pricing, the quality, and the sales channel before… but for this one, i didn’t know anything. I didn’t do much research on diamonds before!
So I just chose one that I thought looked prettiest, and immediately after, she quoted us a price, and after we negotiated more discounts from her (btw, she’s SUPER nice to work with), I immediately went on the internet to search up diamond band prices.
Actually, my fiancée helped educate me a bit more on the pricing too. WOW! I can say, for everything that we got from her, we DEFINITELY got a good deal! I mean, I STILL don’t know much about diamonds, but based on the descriptions on paper and the prices we could find on BlueNile or other places online, it was competitive, BUT we got to see the rings IN PERSON!
Yeah, if you want a good deal, GREAT service, and actually seeing the rings in person, this is the place to go.

I was refereed to this place by a good friend of mine. It’s top notch! I had a ring that I wanted to re-​use the stone in something better. Their selection was very good and of really good quality. I found exactly what I was thinking of. I enjoy dealing with Richard and Alex, but everyone here is super nice and attentive. I have a jeweler now! YAY!

We bought my wedding band from Emily at JAC. After visiting every shop in the place along with the highly-​recommended Derco we stopped in to JAC. Emily was extremely friendly and nice. She was patient as we looked at all of the rings they had. She did not pressure us at all and we ended up leaving with her business card and decided to think about it.
After a few weeks I gave her a call and she remembered who I was — by my first name! — and I sent her an image of a Tiffany band that I wanted them to re-​create for me. They did a great job and I love my band. It cost half the price of the Tiffany band.
I come here once every few months to get my rings cleaned and chat with Emily and the staff. It’s always a pleasant experience. I like the fact that they are ALWAYS available, unlike Derco where you have 30 people crowding the 4 sales people. JAC just feels like the type of family jeweler that we were looking for. I highly recommend them!

I purchased my engagement ring setting and wedding band with Emily about 3 years ago. I’m very pleased with the workmanship since no stone has fallen out yet! Emily was very friendly and always available. I also referred my male friend here to purchase a cushion cut stone and his now-​wife loved it! They ended up buying the whole set from JAC. Their pricing is about average, but you can haggle a little. Make sure you get a pass from JAC to enter the building if you decide to go!

I’ve had several dealings with the Jewelry Art Center. At first they sold a setting and later sold me my wedding bands. They are quite versed in all kinds of jewelry arts are always punctual in delivering what and when they promise it. I since purchased other gold and diamond jewelry for my wife who loves going shopping there. They are eager to please and their pricing always seems to be fair and even matching some of the items I had priced online. I thought of this as a nice way to tell other people of their nice efforts to serve people by writing a review for them. They are very professional and delightful to deal with. I think it is sometimes difficult to find honest people that deal in jewelry and gems and are seeking a fair profit. I believe that I can buy jewelry from them without having to wonder if I am paying the right amount. Thus shopping with them has become actually a lot of fun. You do have to call them to get a pass because for the most part the whole building is wholesale but it is easy to access because they leave your name at the check in desk. I hope this helps any of you looking for a nice place to shop for jewelry with real value.

Recently I got a diamond heart necklace here. They certified the stone and custom-​set the heart shape diamond on a beautiful glittering white gold chain. Both my husband and I are very pleased with the excellent service and quality.
My friends who I referred to them were happy about their custom design selection and gem quality too. And these days it is hard to find a merchant you can trust!

I purchased my fiancé’s engagement ring at the Jewelry Art Center and had the most welcoming and informative experience I could ever ask for. Unlike the jewelry stores you find in shopping malls, Jewelry Art Center will actually help you customize your own ring to make it unique. And the prices of their jewelry are NOT affected by television and other forms of mass market advertising. This means you get significantly higher quality stones and jewelry for much less than what you would pay at mainstream jewelry stores.
Additionally, the Jewelry Art Center offers layaway WITHOUT making you sign up for another credit card! I chose to pay off the engagement ring over the course of two months but I’m sure they would have accomodated more time if I needed it.
My fiancé loves her ring not only because of what it represents, but because it was designed with her in mind. I look forward to going back to the Jewelry Art Center to pick out wedding bands and encourage anyone interested in fine jewelry to make an appointment right away.

I once was a huge fan of this place. Now I would never, ever return. And I urge you to stay away too.
I purchased my wedding set from here back in 2000. It held up well through the years and has been back to get cleaned and checked a few times. The setting is beautiful, channel-​set princess cut diamonds on the wedding ring with matching engagement ring with a larger set stone.
It was not a huge deal when, after 9 years of wear, one of the small princess cut diamonds fell out. I sent the ring back to Jewelry Art Center to replace the stone and I had them reinforce the prongs on the large center stone and clean the ring. However – less than one week after they replaced the missing stone, all of the channel-​set stones became loose and crooked; the ring now looked like a set of bad teeth. I immediately contacted them and sent photos of the horrible work. They again took the ring back to fix it and I had it back in almost-​new condition promptly.
Fast forward 3 months… I was at home making dinner when *gasp* I noticed that my large center stone had fallen out of my ring. Luckily a quick sweep of the kitchen allowed me to find the stone.
My complete dissatisfaction comes from the fact that I wore the ring for 9 years without any problems with the center stone falling out. Then, after I took the ring to Jewelry Art Center to have the prongs checked and reinforced, the center stone fell out 3-​months later. This combined with the problems after they replaced the channel-​set stone leaves me with a complete distrust in the quality of their work.
There are so many jewelers to choose from… do yourself a favor and keep looking.
