As an independent appraiser for over 44 years, Mr Sampson values real properties and some closely-​held businesses related to litigated issues, partnership/​marital dissolution, estate tax valuations, discounted fractional interests in estate, gift, partnership or LLC valuations, rental values and tenant eviction issues. He is a consultant in real estate litigation issues and other matters and testifies as an expert witness on value, economic damages, rent control, and other appraisal isues. As a realtor for over 52 years, Mr Sampson manages residential income and commercial properties, employs a residential leasing agent and provides limited brokerage services to clients in residential or other leasing, sales or financing transactions.

As a Probate Referee of the California Superior (Probate) Court for over 20 years, he yearly appraised 350 – 700 parcels of real property and businesses.
