Knowledgeable, caring, effective. I saw Josh regularly over a course of several years. He is a great diagnostitian, deeply rooted in traditions beyond my comprehension. He has the confidence to place needles, apply chinese medicine or other methods but most of all, he listens and observes. A gem.

In an alternate universe, Josh would be beatified, or a millionaire, or both. He is one of those rare people in our postmodern world who is actually a healer – a healer of bodies and everything that accrues in them. I have seen Josh for nearly 15 years, and I have sent vast numbers of family members, friends, & colleagues to see him as well. He can help with almost anything except gunshot wounds: arthritis, migraines, allergies, hormone imbalance, nerve damage… And, for the record, I’m terrified of needles in general, but I have no fear at all when Josh is doing acupuncture.

I’ve been working with Josh to maintain my health for 15+ years. The combination of accupuncture and Chinese Herbs have helped to keep me healthy and have addressed any minor issues that have come up along the way. I originally started seeing Josh because I had a gallstone and didn’t want to have surgery. A year later, when my overall health was much better, I elected to have the gallstone removed. I continued to work with Josh as I saw the difference in my health. It’s now several years later and in addition to keeping me healthy, Josh has been giving me herbs to ensure an uneventful transition into menopause. What he’s doing is working for me. My friends of the same age are complaining of hot flashes, chills, night sweats, insominia, and all the other classic perimenopausal/​menopausal symptoms. then they turn to me and say, «You’re so lucky you don’t get any of that stuff». Well, it’s not luck. It’s Josh, the acupuncture, and the Chinese herb tea. As long as I stick to my regimen, I feel great (and my husband really appreciates that). For me, working with Josh to maintain my health is a way of life. Others I’ve referred to him have seen him for resolution of a specific issue and loved the experience.
Oh, and for those of you who have had bad acupuncture experiences, this is what it’s like for me. Josh inserts the needles (never experienced pain with the insertion of the needles), dims the lights, and leaves the room to make up my herb packs. Within a short period of time, I feel like I’m floating a few feet above the table. Sometimes I drift off to sleep, sometimes I just feel disconnected from the hectic world around me. When Josh returns to remove the needles, I feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
I highly recommend working with Josh if health maintenance is your goal.

Josh is the best I’ve seen and has been my steady acupuncturist for many years. Knows his herbs too. Great diagnosis, relaxing and healing time on the table and thorough counseling and listening in my native tongue. A rare find!

I’ve been seeing Josh on and off for almost 20 years now. He knows what he’s doing. Every once in a while I will go to a different accupuncturist, and I am always surprised at how timid they are with their treatments: and although I may take a nice snooze, I don’t necessarily feel much better or different afterwards.
Josh knows exactly where to place the needles so that while I am lying there I can feel crazy amounts of energy swooshing and pulsating around (and I’m not one of those woo woo astrology types, either). The herbs he gives are nasty and gross, but I drink them anyway.
Over the years I have seen Josh for a variety of ailments. This last few sessions his treatment healed some hip pain that 6 months of chiropractic and physical therapy failed to heal.

Josh is a powerful herbalist and acupuncturist. He’s really awesome and has helped me a great deal, for many years.
Josh has fixed stuff Western medicine couldn’t: neuropathy in my feet, computer-​related wrist stuff, nasty side effects of meds I had to take.
But more than just «fixing» things, he’s really good at balance, helping your body heal itself. He’s patient and steady, and has totally convinced me that Chinese Herbs and acupuncture work.
For awhile I did the brewed herbs, but when that wasn’t working he switched me to powdered herbs, which has been a huge help.
