Juliagraphy

Our (engagement) photo experience couldn’t have gone any better. I implore you to reach out to Juliagraphy for any type of engagement, wedding, anniversary photo needs.
Needless to say, any occasion that requires a photo session is a big deal — and «big deals» are usually associated with stress & fatigue. With getting married, there are so many details, so many tasks, & sooooo many potential breakdown points. We were so happy to have been introduced to Juliagraphy, who turned this «task» into an amazing life experience. Other couples I spoke with (who used other photogs) voiced how happy they were to «be over and done with their photo shoot». This wasn’t the case for my fiancé and I, we were ready for more, and excited to see the outcome. I firmly believe that our positive experience was due to Juliagraphy’s ability to incorporate love and emotion throughout the day, making the day feel like a milestone in our relationship rather than chore for our wedding.
Juliagraphy was recommended to us from my fiancé’s ex co-​worker. Based in the heart of Down Town (San Francisco), Juliagraphy was full of recommendations for local gems to shoot at (we choose The Palace of Fine Arts & Crissy Field). Before shooting, we spoke with Julia (as you can guess, Julia is the woman behind «Juliagraphy») about our preferences, our goals and more importantly our fear of being in front of a camera. She swiftly put our minds at ease. Immediately, we could tell that her years spent behind the lens will serve us well during the shoot. Once the shoot began, we could feel Julia’s vision. Julia’s guidance and outpour of positivity really made us feel warm.
Providing support to Julia is her assistant, Lucas. Lucas’ scope of support goes beyond camera bag schlepping and lens transitions; Lucas is an animated source for creative posing and gestures. Lucas always kept an eye open for niche lighting, or the perfect spot to stand in that enhanced the drama captured in a single shot. Only (days) after our photo shoot, did we find out that Lucas was an accomplish model (print & run way). It all made sense, his ideas were based on experience & knowledge rather that simple whacky conjecture.
Having received the proofs from our engagement shoot, we are nothing short of utterly amazed and elated with how they turned out. With our wedding approaching, there is no doubt in our mind that we must have Juliagraphy capture this moment in our life. After my fiancé and I set the date, we will call our parents… then Juliagraphy immediately afterwards.
