Julie Jay Home Staging

Julie Jay recently staged our large 4 bedroom home. Everything about our experience with Julie was excellent. We held the first open house on Sunday and the house was under contract Monday night! She has an incredible eye for design and really knows how to pull rooms together in a way that makes them feel fresh and inviting. We moved out for the staging so we were completely overwhelmed by the process of packing and moving into our new place.
Julie took over and handled everything at the house we were selling so we were free to concentrate on trying to make sense out of the chaos at our new house. She had the house cleaned, painted, and completely staged every room, including the laundry room and pantry. Her furniture and artwork is lovely. She has some unique and clearly expensive furniture pieces that really add a nice flare to the décor and the paintings she used were modern and stylish. The rooms looked like the pieces were collected by an individual with wonderful eclectic taste (they were — Julie) rather than looking plain vanilla from a catalog where everything is matchy matchy.
The Julie Jay Home Staging crew was extremely professional and hard working. They had an astonishing amount of work to do and they handled it so quickly, even the smallest details. The lamps were plugged in and had bulbs so when the house was being shown you could turn all the lamps on for added ambiance.
She also staged 4 sitting areas outside with outdoor furniture, potted plants and nice touches that really made you want to sit down and spend some time there. I have no idea how she accomplished so much while it seemed so effortless!
When the furniture was removed her team once again was extremely efficient and professional and they left the house spotless! They cleaned the floors and patched and painted the walls where they had hung artwork. No nails sticking out of the wall or debris — I mean spotless, amazing attention to every detail! It’s not every day that I hire someone who exceeds my expectations but Julie and her crew by far exceeded them! The next time I sell a house (which I hope will be a long time from now, still haven’t recovered from the move) I will go to Julie first to make sure she can fit me in her schedule because I would not want to do this without her!

Julie Jay is an absolute pleasure to work with. She has a wonderful energy and is such a talented stager and designer. She has worked with several of my clients and they are always pleased with her results!

Jule Jay staged our condo and did an amazing job. I almost didn’t want to move! It only took 12 days for the house go into contract (in a terrible market). That speaks for itself! Then, when we moved into our new place, Julie came back out and helped us figure out how to decorate and furnish our new place (almost entirely with stuff we already owned and suggesting things I never would have thought of). Love Jule Jay and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Julie Jay Staging is amazing — we met Julie through a recommendation several years ago when we were selling our home. We loved working with her and have recommended her to everyone we know looking for resale preparations (and for design help — she does 2 hour home design consultations too!). As a Realtor and repeat client of Julie’s, I can tell you unequivocally she’s been an indispensible resource for me and my clients and I receive only effusive praise to everyone I’ve introduced her to.
On our first meeting (a few years back), she spent quality time with us suggesting ways we could best prepare our property for resale. She helped us with choosing interior paint colors, suggesting inexpensive window coverings and even gave us some landscaping ideas. This was before she even she delivered one piece of furniture. As promised, her team arrived on time and with the most fabulous pieces — couches, chaise lounges, tables of all sizes and shapes, paintings, lamps, beds and bedding, beautiful throws, live plants, the list goes on — we couldn’t believe the amount of time and effort she put into making the place look fantastic. Even when it was time to move out the furniture, her team was super clean — not a scratch or scuff to report. I can’t recommend Julie Jay Staging enough!
