This review is based on my two visits. Dr chun is very patient to all my questions and also knowledgeable.
The staffs are very friendly and always helpful.

I love June not only is she very good at the examination but she has the most amazing sense of what looks good on people for choosing frames. I have never received so many compliments! Friendly office too.

I appreciate your response, I will do my homework next time I need my eyes checked again. I am pretty sure I can find a clinic that provides this type of service at no extra fees. I will strongly recommend people to search for most affordable places like Costco. Like I said before, I only paid $ 114 for glasses and contact lenses evaluation. It did not take any extra time from the doctor to do both things. I would have gone there if I knew what I know now and avoid such unfortunate experience because with your clinic miscommunication is the word very commonly used as excuse instead of an honest apology.
This is the third time I try to do business with some Asian business and this happened to me.
First was an auto body repair, second was a real estate agent, now this… I really need to stop!
I think I learned my lesson! :(

I love Dr. Chun and everyone in the office, including Will! They are all just very welcoming, very flexible and very efficient! A nice family oriented vibe when you go! The office is filled with such great energy!

Dr. June Chun entire staff provided me with the best service as a new patient. Leading to the days of my appointment, her staff provided me with a reminder call on my appointment, which would help anyone with a busy schedule. Always a pleasantry to be greeted by a smile, her receptionist Christy gave me forms to fill out before Dr. Wu, checked my vision. Dr Wu made the experience as calm without any rush. Which displays her full knowledge of vision and customer service. Also picked out some glasses, which was also discounted!

My entire family comes here. We’ve been a client for 2 – 3 years now. I’m satisfied how they treat and handle their patients. Prices are reasonable and offers 20% Who wouldn’t love to save some extra cash? Shout out to Dr. Wu.

Came here to Dr. Chun 2 years ago based on Unilocal reviews and location. She and her staff were nice, but that was just it (hence the 2 stars). I had VSP and needed my eyes checked since it had been several years. I spent almost $ 300 for an eye exam and glasses. They pushed polarization or transition lenses which was fine. What I didn’t like was being told I had early signs of macular degeneration when I really don’t have it. Two different doctors have confirmed that I don’t have it — which really worried me. I have no family history of any vision issues aside from being near and farsighted.
They also pushed me to get some health thing done where they swab the inside of my cheek and it’s not covered by them, but my doctor will… only to find that they lost my DNA sample and my information… can you say identity theft???
Yeah, I would never come back here.

Dr. June Chun is a fantastic professional who is warm, funny, and caring. Her examinations are thorough and you will most definitely get excellent eye care. The practice is very small and cramped, but the equipment is all state-​of-​the art and new. My only negative complaint is that at the time of service, the billing is a bit confusing and not clearly explained. I never really knew what I was paying for until I went home and really examined the bill. The costs are most definitely reasonable… but they could work on being a little more clear on what you are paying for. It think part of it is that my insurance policy for eye care is a bit opaque. I also really appreciate that she is a small business who takes a lot of pride in her work and in her attentive interactions with her patients. You definitely get the sense that she cares about the quality of service. Highly recommended.

I picked here because of the location and reviews. The equipments were great and new. It wasn’t Dr. Chun who examined me, so I can only speak for my experience with the other doctor. I just wanted to have my eyes checked and get a prescription for my contact. After she checked my eyes she took me to the other room for contact fitting. I told her I was fine with my current contact, but she wanted me to try some new ones. During the fitting, she kept asking me where I ordered my contacts and insisted that u would save money if I ordered from them. I declined it. When I went to check out, I realized I was charged with $ 60 for Contact Fitting!!! My old optometrist have never pulled something like that. At this point she still kept asking me about ordering the contacts and lenses here. I felt like she was very pushy and wanted to get that extra money. She also complained her staff right in front if me, which I thought it was unprofessional. If it wouldn’t for my dr. on vacay, I would not have picked this place and paid an extra $ 60. Will def. not come back.

Hidden gem. Reasonable prices! Everyone here is helpful and nice. Got a fabulous pair of sparkly Kate Spade glasses here.

Bit of an odd location, but super nice people and a fairly trendy selection of frames. I’d go back.

Dr. Chun is the best at what she does! She delivers and she has not failed me. Today I just picked up my pair of Tom Fords and I am absolutely in love with them. Her assistants were very helpful at helping me pick the right frames. They were also quick and I was able to pick them up after a week. I have gone to other optometrists where it took them over a month for pick up. Lastly, she is very up to date with what’s «in». Actually the ones that I bought were matte colored and if you have recently watched the most recent movie, Transformers, I’ve got the same matte colored frame that one of the guy was wearing… not Mark Wahlberg… but the other guy… Stanley Tucci… anyways. you get my point.

I woke up with something that seemed like a giant rock in my eye. It was painful and I was tearing up so much I had to mop the floor. I remember seeing Dr Chun’s office as I live only a ½ mile away. I drove down (sometimes on the sidewalk) to her and Dr. Wu took me in immediately and said I must have gotten rid of the rock since It was no longer in my eye but there was a scratch on my cornea. She applied some drops and gave me three little boxes of drops to use at home. By the middle of the day, the pain was gone and no more tears.
Dr Wu and the artistic Dr. Chun are very personable. This is the small, one owner, cozy, old fashioned family oriented place, not one of
the bigger sterile conglomerates. Will I return? Well I’ve already made the appointment
for my annual exam in August. Five huge stars for this very warm, accommodating
vision café.

The optometrist is fine I never saw there message they’ve had my glasses for weeks and ive been a deep.

Dr. Chun is professional and thorough. After I told her about my worries and symptoms, she especially walked me through each issue and ensured that they were not problems for my eyes. Everyone at the clinic is also friendly. I picked out a great pair of glasses with the help from the front desk ladies.
The only feedback I would give is to be a bit more transparent regarding each procedure and cost. I sometimes had to ask for clarifications on what each procedure was for and the cost for them (whether my insurance covered or not).
Still I would highly recommend this place to other patients due to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff here.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chun since I was in high school and can’t think of anyone better! She is not only incredibly professional, knowledgeable and efficient, but very kind and personable. She tells you exactly what’s improved or worsened with your vision and tells you what each test is for.
When it comes to making appointments and picking out frames, Dr. Chun and her staff truly are the best and are very accommodating. They carry many different brands from Nine West and Ray Bans to Prada and Valentino, so there is something for every price point. The girls are really helpful and honest when it comes to picking out frames. I’ve had frames from Nine West and Prada and have always received compliments on them. I can’t wait for my new Valentino’s! Who says «guys don’t make passes at girls with glasses»? ;)
If you are looking for an optometrist, Dr. Chun is the best, hands down. Can’t recommend her enough!

The instantly overly familiar employee has departed. The world at Dr. Chun’s is waaay mo’ bettah.. .at least in my humble opinion.

Best eye-​doctor ever!
Compared to the previous optometrist who saw me for 10 minutes and handed me a bad prescription, June is a super-​hero.
She communicated with me intelligently and took the time to test for plenty of possibilities. She discovered I had the wrong correction and was extremely generous during the whole interaction.
If all doctors were as expert and generous as Dr. Chun, I think the global life expectancy and the reputation of the medical field in the USA would seriously improve.

She is an amazing optometrist! She explains everything in detail and makes sure she knows/​you know exactly what is going on with your eyes!
She also has the state of the art equipment.

Dr. Chun is funny, friendly, professional and extremely good at what she does.
Note: I usually go to my Kaiser Optometrist but my benefits only cover a certain amount for glasses I need — so I went outside the network.
