Karin Hastik, MD has been caring for patients in the San Francisco area since 1998. Her goal has always been to provide proper support and treatment to help her patients address their problems and lead happier lives. She has helped a large number of patients over the years, and looks forward to continuing for many years to come.

Dr. Hastik has been practicing psychiatry in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 16 years. She completed her psychiatric residency at the University of California (UCSF), where she also served as an adjunct faculty member. Patient care has remained the focus of her work through an ongoing private practice established in 1998. She has always been passionate about advocating for mental health, and she has given numerous community-​based and academic presentations focusing on mood and anxiety disorders, Attention-​Deficit Disorders and progressive treatment options for patients. In addition to private practice, Dr. Hastik has worked at Hastings College of Law and at a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Redwood City, caring for the severely mentally ill patients of San Mateo County.
