Every time I’ve been to this Kate Spade location, I receive the most excellent service. I was buying a new tote last month when I showed the salesperson that my Kate Spade cross body was fraying all along the strap… she told me that they could send it out for repair. I just picked up my repaired purse & it looks brand new! Plus there was no charge for the repair… AMAZING!!! I’m so impressed with the customer service.

I’ve been to this location bajillion times. I love Kate Spade, but I dread walking in this location. I am finally writing this review. I could probably say only the managers and maybe one other girl who works there is helpful. The rest of them are constantly asking you if you need assistance, but can’t provide the correct answers to you. If you ask them for the price or if it’s on sale, they’ll guess a number and won’t check. They’ll provide you with an «I think,» answer. I went in another time to return an item and purchase a lot more stuff. What can I say? My girlfriends like KS. The girl knew this and mentioned to me that a manager had to approve the return. By the time she finished ringing up all my purchases, the manager was not there. The girl walked away to chit-​chat with another girl. I stood there and waited for the manager to return from the back. I asked another girl and she said the manager was in the restroom. The manager finally came back and she didn’t know that I was waiting for her this whole time.

Love this cute little place! The store is set up beautifully, and the customer service is friendly and plentiful. They always have the latest goods with a large selection of colors, which places like Nordstrom may be slower to carry. I love popping in here to pick up a cute birthday gift for a friend… or something for myself!

Let me just start off by saying that I have an unhealthy obsession with Kate Spade, purchase items at least once a month and shop at the nearest one at every city I go to– I can’t get enough! I recently relocated to San Francisco for work and am so disappointed by the inventory of this store– things that are just put online as new will typically get to this store several weeks later, which is really disappointing for a KS fanatic like myself, because I often can’t see things in person before I purchase them online and have to do several returns. Believe it or not, even Nordstrom in the Westfield has more up to date Kate Spade items than the actual retail store– craziness!
Because of the inventory issues I rarely even go into this Kate Spade store, but on the chance that I do, I have never had a positive, friendly or accommodating sales person offer to help me. In fact in my experiences they often talk down to you as if you are lucky to be taking up the 2 minutes your question demands, are very unhelpful and just have nasty attitudes.
Kate Spade– I love you but please make my homebase store better and send a secret shopper in prompto! I have always been so impressed by the brand, quality of products and spectacular customer service in every KS location I’ve ever been to, please make fixing this store a priority as the SF population continues to grow– this isn’t OK!

This was my first time in and not my last time! I came in to buy my first «adult» bag and knew I needed a statement bag. Immediately, I was greeted by several very friendly sales associates who were willing to help with selections but still gave you space while you shopped.
I ended up picking out a bag and the sales associate grabbed a «fresh» one out of the back and had it prepared at the counter as I continued to look around the store. The ladies at this store give exemplary service with a smile and the store itself is just darling. I can’t wait to come back!

I’ve always shopped at Kate spade because the jewelry is cute, some of the clutches and small leather goods are fun and affordable (reasonable price for something that isn’t classic, since it’s quirky, like the coin pouches they have in shape of raccoon)
I always walk into the store with intention to buy and than usually end up buying online, except maybe twice, because the sales person there was actually decent.
In other words, I was actually greeted and asked if I wanted help.
Surprisingly the tiffanys in this mall gives me better service?!
Doesn’t matter, I saw a few bangles I liked but wasn’t available online, but since I didn’t absolutely love it and their service or lack of totally blew me out of the water, I decided to get myself an initial necklace from maya brenner, 14k rose gold, really cute. a hermes cuff and a Blanca monros gomez curly stud earring.
I wanted to give you my money, but if you don’t want it, someone else always will!

We were helped by a wonderful salesperson Gio today. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we get an item (that was only available online) by the end of the week (busy holiday one at that!) AND sent us home with gift wrapping supplies in case the online purchase did not come wrapped as planned. He was SO patient and nice– epitome of customer service. I always feel that KS has friendly salespeople, but Gio certainly made us want to come back and buy more purses from him :)

I love Kate Spade, so when I usually walk in here i feel like buying a new wallet, handbag or other accessories. If you sign up for their mailing list they send you discounts. Everytime i walk in here, even when i don’t buy anything I get great customer service. They will always greet me and talk to me to see how my day is going and they never pressure you to buy anything. They will always gift wrap your gift for you whenever you make a purchase and they do take their time making it look nice for you.

What struck me about this shop is the service and kindness of the sales people. I am not a fashionista by any means and don’t go in for designer brands, but who can resist Kate Spade? Charming. And I’m kinda addicted to handbags. I’m rarely downtown, but made it in today and dressed rather slovenly, really, and was treated like royalty! And I came out with a handbag that I absolutely adore. Wow, wow, and wow!

I adore Kate Spade, and so when shopping in the city for a Mother’s Day gift for my mom, I had to stop by this Kate Spade location.
Kate Spade is known for simple, classic designs with bright and happy colors. Love the aesthetic here.
The store and selection don’t seem as big as the Kate Spades in the South Bay, but real estate is, of course, more expensive in San Francisco. So, even though the selection is smaller, the highlighted selection features more big hits of the collection. The friendly staff more than make up for this minor flaw of having a smaller selection.
Anyway, after browsing through the wallets for a bit, I asked one of the associates about getting one for my mom to match the purse my aunt gave my mom as a gift. The associate was very patient and kind, gathering all the black wallets together to show to me and going in the back to get me a «fresh» wallet after I had made my selection. She also was nice enough to put up with my making my purchase with half credit card and half store credit.
My gift was also beautifully boxed, tied with a bow, and bagged with tissue. Gorgeous.

i love the dresses, bags, and accessories here and 1 day i want to buy a clothes i saw online. As a note, i’m very casual daily and i do not look like a kate spade girl when i went to this store, but i have a lot of cash in my bank. I just do not appreciate the attitude of the store manager here, while i was asking question about the dress i wanted, she won’t even look at me pretend to do something in the computer way too busy, it’s an fff-​in attitude, she’s being rude. The other girl next to her was nice enough to answer my q appropriately and even prettier than the store manager, oh well it’s your loss honey, your attitude is just as ugly as your look, g’bye now, you’re losing customer, better buy online sometimes!

Excellent selection. Cute bags, clothes, and jewelry. Good deals on previous season’s line. Only minus is that there’s only one dressing room and you share it with boxes like a storage closet.

I love coming here bc it’s literally like walking into a candy store. The staff are very nice and always greet you with a smile, unlike other stores I’ve been to.
I usually drop by to take a look around to see the latest items they have in the store whenever I’m at the mall.

I love Kate Spade!!! I might need an intervention. Kate Spade puts a modern twist on the classic women’s attire. Not everything will fit everyone, but the clothing is of good quality and it’s classic and timeless. In other words, you get your money’s worth. I love that they have themes every now and then too (i.e. Pardon My French, No Sleep Til Brooklyn, etc.). The associates are always very friendly and helpful, and at this particular location, when they didn’t have the specific hat I was looking for, she offered to call the closest store to see if they had one available in stock. Most people in customer service don’t take this initiative to help anymore. I highly recommend Kate Spade… it’s one of my favorites!

Kate Spade is Everything! The associates are all super friendly and upbeat to match to attire being sold in the store. What more could a darling gal ask for!

I’m having a love affair with Kate Spade.
This shop is practically perfect in every way.
I love this location because it is dangerously close to my office, so on those days where I need retail therapy I’m only a 5 minute walk away from happiness.
The associates are very helpful but not too in-​your-​face about it which is appreciated. They have great style suggestions as well if you ask.
I can always find something I like too. (Not sure if this is a good thing…)

Kate Spade is one of my favorite designers, because of the fun and flirty designs, bold use of colors, and quality wares (boots to purses to jewelry). The wonderful selection, helpful customer service and sales representatives, and whimsical boutique make shopping so much fun.
And when I can’t stop in to shop, I review the selection online and order from
, to see what’s new for the season. Thank you for making everyday fashions so much fun with a pop of color or a gem of find (from a cute scarf that looks like a mongoose or mismatched gloves or a necklace dripping with butterflies in mother-​of-​pearl).

Always fantastic and super friendly service, great selection, and gorgeous items. If you are debating whether to go to this Kate Spade or the one up on Grant, this is the better choice (see my review of the Grant store to understand why. Long story short: my customer service experience up there was non-existant…mainly because nobody every asked if they could help me).
This store, on the other hand, is wonderful!
Also, you should check online for discount opportunities before buying full price from Kate Spade. My boyfriend did research and found us a 25% off coupon. I’d give another star if the girls in the store had actually told me that themselves.

I just had the best service I could ever imagine at this store!!! I love Kate Spade bags. To my horror, a little rip started on the side of a new tote I bought a few weeks ago. I didn’t want to be disappointed with my purchase, so I went into the store and told the employee who was behind the counter. Turns out it was, Chase, one of the managers. He immediately said he would exchange the bag for a new one! No hesitation. He just did it. Now that’s what I call service! This is the store I will always go to first when looking for a new bag, a new party dress, fun little gifts items — anything! They’ve got my business for life because they were so awesome and nice.
Chase also tried to clean a big stain I have on a non-​Kate Spade wallet. After he tried one solution, he didn’t give up and tried another. And even though they didn’t work, he gave me a great suggestion where to go.
Thank you Chase and all the nice people who work at this Kate Spade store. It’s been a really great experience shopping with you!

OMG, two Kate Spade stores in one city? I’ve died and gone to shopping heaven! I have been a huge Kate Spade fan for almost ten years now. I have so many of her bags that I’ve lost count. What I love most about the bags besides the great quality and construction are the one of a kind styles. I also love the fact that the label is not «in your face» like a lot of other brands *ah-​hem, Coach, cough*. I also love the fact that not everyone and their soccer mom’s dog has one.
The store is bright white which provides a perfect backdrop to the gorgeous handbags. I mean, when you walk in a store known for their handbags, shouldn’t the focus be on the handbags rather than the color of the walls? The sales staff are super friendly and helpful. As mentioned by another Unilocaler, the staff always tries to find a «fresh» bag (i.e. the bag has not been fondled by other shoppers) if you want to make a purchase. They also sell shoes (gorgeous), accessories (cute) and paper products (fun). Kate Spade is definitely a five star shopping experience.
