One of the best experiences I have ever had at an auto repair shop the service was quick friendly and they got the job done, they even give me a courtesy call that morning to make sure I was okay.

«I decided on this place because it had a friendly exterior.» ??? Seriously Tom? IS THAT how you choose your auto shop?
This is my neighborhood shop, I’m not sure why its called Kevin’s I’m pretty sure Tony owns and operates the joint but whatever. Tomato, potato.
Tony is overly cautious and through, but he’s never recommended repairs to me that didn’t actually need to be done. (And I’m a chick, maybe not as much of a girl as Tom, but hey.) Like the time I tore my wheel assembly apart after driving around on it too long post accident. He told me my brakes should be replaced and that I needed tires, I asked him to show me the brakes, in my, grew up in an auto shop experience, I decided to pass on the brakes and bought tires over at Big-​O the next month. He’s always done solid work for me at a great price. P. S. I DO need brakes.

I was looking for a reasonably priced working class garage to bring my banged up «city car» for a tune up prior to driving to L.A. I decided on this place because it had a friendly exterior. What a mistake! I identified a specific problem I wanted addressed — intermittent loss of power at around 55 to 60 m.p.h. They talked me into flushing the engine and a full tune up, totaling about $ 500 in work. In the end, the mechanic even suggested I change the timing belt. That should have been my clue that he had no idea what was causing the problem. Sure enough, about 40 miles out of town the problem was back with a vengeance. When I got to my destination, I went to my dad’s mechanic who removed and cleaned the Mass Air Flow Sensor and charged me 80 bucks. I won’t go back to this place again. I wonder how many needless repairs they’d have had me do before they figured out what a Mass Air Flow Sensor does.
