History
Established in 2015.
I have been counseling & connecting people to resources for almost 20 years.
It is a tremendous joy to use my helping skills and genuine curiosity to support others in times of transition & challenge, and to aid sojourners in their growth.
We are all resilient, strong, and capable beings. And that’s the powerful realization I love bringing forth from my clients.
In the work I do, it is important to explore an issue from different angles – mind, body, and spirit – holistically. I bring my experience as a social worker, massage therapist, and acupressurist.
I’m passionate about supporting people who are themselves «helpers» (family caregivers, teachers, healthcare workers, etc.) You are compassionate and you do important work. Becoming more conscious and developing healthier responses & deeper self-care tools will make your work more sustainable, fulfilling, and enjoyable.
Besides fluent English, I also speak Chinese-Cantonese.

Business Owner
In 1999 I received my Masters in Social Work from Hunter College (NYC), one of the top 20 Social Work Schools in the nation, and earned my California license in clinical social work in 2008 (license # LCS24764).
My social work career began with serving seniors and adults with disabilities, mostly at in-home settings in a healthcare context.
About a decade into my career I found myself becoming interested in Chinese Medicine and energy work. I studied acupressure, Chi Gong, meditation, Rosen Method, and earned a Certified Massage Therapy credential in 2012 (CMT # 33 131).
Delving into bodywork has given me an appreciation for the importance of our mind-body connection. I love incorporating this holistic knowing into my counseling practice. My social work background has trained me to instinctually see clients in context of their environments, and therefore consider all of the inner and outer factors contributing to a presenting concern and address it accordingly.
