Knock Architecture + Design

I recently purchased a home and needed advice on how to proceed with it.
Ryan was one of the only honest and straightforward people I contacted. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to do (open up a couple of walls between the kitchen and the hall/​dining room and remodel 2 bathrooms.) I had the project scope fairly well defined and know the finishes and details I wanted to incorporate. I had worked in the trades and know just enough to be dangerous but also enought to know that I needed some professional advice. Rather than trying to make things more complicated than they needed to be or just book some business, Ryan recommended that I just work with a structural engineer to implment my ideas and get to permits as fast as possible. Wow it is refreshing to work with an honest and ethical architect when it seems that so many just want to complicate and confuse their customers so that they can make money. In the end he was right all of the real work was structural and we got our permits.

Ryan Knock is incredibly easy to work with. He is also extremelly intelligent, thorough, detail oriented, honest, professional and reasonably priced! I have been in business for 10 years. It’s extremely hard to find outside professionals who you immediately feel are the perfect fit for the job you need done — but I felt that with Ryan. I knew I was in good hands from the get go. I also appreciated that Ryan was able to understand what I wanted despite the fact I didn’t know how to explain my thoughts using technical design lingo. I couldn’t have been happier with the results Ryan generated.
