Description

Specialties

If necessity is the mother of invention, then we are her slingshot-packing stepchildren. Indie film. Indie music. Why not indie commercial production?

Kontent is not a business model, it’s an artistic convergence. A uniquely cinematic, budget-friendly ethos that has industry wags buzzing and New York and Los Angeles nervous. They want to do what we do, but can’t. Or won’t. Or something.

Our work has won Oscar nominations and Sundance hardware. We know how to make audiences care, and know it doesn’t take bankrolls to accomplish. From production to post, effects to sound design. All the stuff that blasts great ideas into the concept kill zone. But doesn’t have to.

Throw us into the mix on your next project. You’ll be astonished. New stuff feels like that.

History

Established in 2005.

A radical faction of accomplished and difference-making filmmakers. Together, we are the Kollective. Commercial-indie hyphenates united by story and a shared awareness that audiences don’t care about budgets or platforms. They just want to be moved, informed, and entertained.

We play well with others. Agencies, company direct, non profits, media outlets. Boutiques and studios and everything in between. We know you’re cautious with your marketing dollars. Please know that, for us, inspiration isn’t a line item. Your story is our passion.
