Larry Forsberg, L Ac

Today it was my second time going to see Dr Larry Forsberg. I have a low back problem, the acupuncture it dose help me to feel better. of cause it doesn’t take
one or two visit to saw my problem. I will have few more visit with them hopefully
by that time I will get better. About that Clinic when I walk in it feel clean,
I had been checking about the needle.
YES They use new clean needle. NOT old used needle.
Why am I saying that. because my first life time experience was awful,
I feel painful and I am not sure, do did they use clean needle.
The Clinic was at 126 Waverly Place in San Francisco.
The technique what the Dr use is not what I imagine what Acupuncture should be. The needle it was thick pinch to my body in 15 sce and put out
.my body was sore for few days. I will never going back there.
That why when I was in Dr Larry Forsberg clinic I know they using
NEW CLEAN needle, I feel safe to go back to see him again.
I am highly recommended people to go there.

I have known Larry for many years and get treatment off and on for various reasons. In 2009 I went back to him after getting a dx of ovarian cancer with chemo to follow. Larry treated me throughout the chemo which I would highly recommend as the acupuncture helps the liver to detoxify the metals and so much more! I am always so comfortable there and with larry. His energy is clean– he is gentle and thorough and always so kind. The rooms are always clean and warm and sunny, The office space is beautiful too and his prices are extremely reasonable. I choose not to go to local clinics for they rush you in and out– where is the healing in that? With Larry expect to be there for an hour and to get optimal results! I have referred friends and all have been quite happy with Larry and with their outcomes. :).

I went to see Larry a couple of weeks ago after finding out my insurance gives me a discount. Now, given the fact I’m a student, a mother of 3, and in the process of moving back to Australia. I have very little money but am desperate for help as my body is falling apart emotionally and physically! The «American Specialty Group» recommended Larry as one of their faves in the area, so I thought I had to be on a good thing, and I wasn’t disappointed.
He was very though rough with my medical history (and let me tell you, I might be 35 years of age, but I read more like a 90 year old woman when you hear of everything I’ve had done… No no! No pace-​maker or artificial hip joints yet!.. Hopefully never!) After a good consultation, time to relax and get into the session! The room was wonderful! Warm, clean, cozy, and the bed! Ahhhhh. the first bed I’ve ever been on where the breast area is cut out, which, let me tell you guys, when you have to lie on your stomach, for a woman. makes an incredible difference! Having those holes cut out is heavenly! There’s nothing more uncomfortable than trying to feel «relaxed» lying on your stomach whether it be for a massage or acupuncture and your breasts as flattened like pancakes into the bed, squashed into smithereens, and you’re mind is wondering whether when you get up if they’ll «bounce» back into shape again!
So, my treatment begins. I end up with needles all down my spine, one in my head, ear, arms (large intestine, bladder) pretty much every major organ as I’ve been so stressed out, and it shows! Youch! You certainly can feel when a meridian is
aches…like the nerve pain you feel at a dentist. Once they were all done, he «tweaked» them a few minutes later (turned them to stick them in a little more to get more flow going), then he left and I was off. drifting into acupuncture heaven!
I’m fortunate that my body responds well to treatment, but it also depends on the acupuncturist. I really liked how Larry was extremely well presented, very knowledgeable, caring, and he didn’t rush. I’ve been to some places where they’ve come in every 10 mins and I felt as though they couldn’t wait for me to go. Larry allowed me to get into a completely relaxed state and allowed the needles to do their job. I was there for 2 hours, and felt amazing. I was tired and felt a little «off» that night, but that’s not unusual when you’ve had a more extensive session of acupunture, it just means the body is
, good food and water is imperitive!
If I was in a better financial position, I’d be there every other day. I would highly recommend Larry to anyone, in fact I have. I really liked my old acupuncturist, he was great too, but the difference is, Larry takes more time with you, which is super important to me. Make sure you show up on time and wear comfortable clothing.
