My first lash extension ever and I am loving my lashes by Honorine. I was eager but had no clue about extensions, I’ve seen how awesome they are but always hesitated. After getting a Gilt City deal, I figured why not?
I called that morning and they were able to get me a same-​day appointment. Location was easy to find and across the street from Nijiya Market. Lashes + Japanese groceries = perfection.
Honorine was so awesome. She helped me narrow down my look, walked me through every step of the process and made recommendations. It was actually a pretty relaxing experience — sent all my calls to vm and even took a nice nap!

I had Tina as my beautician and she was really wonderful and meticulous. She took off my old lash extensions and gave me more of a cat eye look, and it was very subtle and natural looking The only complaint that I have is that the rooms are just cubbies and don’t have ceilings and it could get really loud. With the sound bouncing off all the walls, it really made me feel disoriented and anxious at times. I wish the receptionist would lay down the law and make sure that people didn’t talk so loudly.

My coworker told me about LashSpot because I was always obsessing over her lashes! I’ve never had eyelash extensions before but I have always wanted to try! So, I decided to give it a shot… YOLO!!! And, now I can’t stop making reoccurring appointments!
I’ve worked with both Yukari and Honorine, and they are both AMAZING! They really listen to what you’re looking for and and the «look» you’re trying to achieve. They’re both seasoned eyelash extension artists so I always feel extremely comfortable whenever I receive my extensions!!! I love how dramatic yet natural they look!!! Everyone always compliments me on my lashes!

Prior to Lash Spot, I was getting my lashes done at Lash Lab in the Marina. I decided to try Lash Spot because I live down the street, and I have to say– I am addicted and will never go anywhere else. Why? Well…
+PRICE: a 2 – 3 week fill is only $ 45 with a $ 25 monthly fee. Even if you only get your lashes fixed up once a month, $ 70 is STILL cheaper than other salons in SF. I make sure I book appointments ahead of time that are 2 weeks apart to get the most out of the monthly fee. And to be honest, Honorine does such a thorough job that most of the time, I don’t really even need to have them touched up after 2 weeks.
+QUALITY: like I was saying earlier, these lashes are high quality and will look great for a long time if you take proper care of them! (not getting them wet, brushing them out, etc.)
+SERVICE: Honorine is my girl and she is SO sweet and talented. Whether I want to spend my 1 hour appointment napping, or whether I want to spend the hour chatting away, Honorine is a pleasure to be around. She is also meticulous at her craft. She will take the extra time to be precise and make sure you leave looking your best. Also, the woman at the front desk (can’t remember her name), always calls me a day or two before my appointment to remind me and ask if I need to cancel last minute. It’s little things like that which make clients feel special, not to mention it also helps me remember so I don’t avoid missing my appointment and getting charged a no-​show fee!
+STYLES: when you go to your appointment, you can choose between different styles of lashes that you want! My go to’s are the «gorgeous», which is the same length across the eye and the «cat eye», which has longer lashes on the outer corner and shorter toward the inner corner to create the illusion of bigger eyes. Lash Spa did not give me the option of different «looks».
Finally, I want to point out that when you get your lashes done here, you get extensions put onto EVERY SINGLE eyelash. At Lash Spa, I was paying more and was only getting extensions put on EVERY OTHER lash. Whether you decide to get your lashes done here or elsewhere, make sure you ask so you know what you’re paying for ;)

I always look forward to my appointment at Lashspot. Not only do my eyelashes always look ON POINT when I leave but I adore my lash technician, Honorine. All the technician’s here are personable, funny, and really easy to talk to. But Honorine has been doing my lashes for over a year because not only is she professional and a skilled technician but she has a beautiful soul, is proud of her work, and takes care of her clients.

Honorine is the best! I’ve had my lashes done off and on for by other technicians and she’s far the best at what she does! She’s been doing lash extensions for a long time and I’ve never had anyone like her who really listens. My lashes always look amazing and has lasted about 3 wks.

Get your lashes done by TINA! She will make sure your lashes look and feel beautiful. I’m so in love with my lashes! I’ve gotten so many compliments. They hold really well and feels so natural and light.

I’ve been wanting to get my eyelashes done for a while, but was a bit hesitant with some telling me that the lashes fall off with your own or horror stories of lashes poking the eyeball and getting infected, so I was very cautious and thought about it forever until I finally pulled the trigger.
TINA did a great job with the original set and then a touch up a few weeks later. She was very professional, gentle, and thorough throughout the whole process. Tina definitely listened to my needs & wants of not wanting too crazy butterfly wing lashes especially for my first time and the end result was great. For the fill, she went a little more full and volume which was a great recommendation as well. My eyelashes look so natural no one initially noticed they were done and definitely worth not having end of day raccoon eyes trying to scrape off mascara. I plan to continue to come to Tina to get my lashes done!

I came to Lash Spot and got extensions for the first time. Tina was my girl and I couldn’t be happier. She made the whole experience incredibly relaxing, so much so that I definitely dozed off a couple times. She’s super sweet and does an amazing job. This review is for Tina. She’s done my lashes twice, the first time giving me extra length and curl, and the second time touching them up but going a bit more dramatic with the length. Needless to say, I love my extensions. They look totally natural and really open up the eyes, and I’ve found that I’ve worn a lot less eye makeup lately! Longer lashes and less maintenance? Win win in my book!
As for the procedure, it was my first time getting lash extensions but Tina was really professional and let me know which types of lashes she recommended for my eye shape. The process took about 1.5 — 2 hrs and at the end she went over maintenance tips and answered any questions I had. Tina is great! Would totally recommend her for your lash extensions!

I went here based on recs from friends. This was my first time getting lash extensions and I didn’t know what to expect, but overall it was a good experience and I’ll definitely go back! Since it was my first time, Hana showed and explained the different types lash lengths and curls. She helped me decide based on what type of look I wanted and went from there (I got the full set C curl). The procedure itself was painless although I could feel a few pricks here and there. At the end, a fan is used to dry the glue and you’re all set. I showed my lashes off to my coworkers and they loved it! Thanks Lash Spot!

I’ve only done extensions once and they weren’t very noticeable, so was not worth the money. My lashes are very fine and really short! Hannah did such an amazing job I can hardly believe it! Thank you!

Hana was very sweet and a great listener! I have naturally thin and straight lashes so I definitely needed some oomph to my lashes. Since I am going on a 2 week trip I wanted something natural and easy to take care of, especially since I did not want to bring that much makeup with me (I like to pack light!)
Hana was able to deliver just that and more. It looks like I have naturally long and full lashes and now I don’t have to worry about spending too much time getting ready in the morning!
The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. You are greeted once you come in and it is quite easy to find the location.
My lashes turned out amazing and I will definitely come back again.

–I was able to get an appointment within the next day of calling so 5 stars for the receptionist on being accommodating and answering my email super fast!
–My technician, Yukari, did a fantastic job. She came highly recommended. Very steady hand. I think I slept and snored through the whole procedure!
–I went with the mini lashes (30 – 40 lashes per eye). I don’t think the monthly membership is a value for follow-​up appts for just mini lashes.
–you can choose any lengths (from 8 mm to 12 mm ?) My tech used between 10 –12 for my eyes.
–It’s in the trendy New People building in J-​Town located on the 2^nd floor. Get your lashes done then flirt (with your eyes of course) at the cute boy next to you when having tea at Crown & Crumpet’s Tea Stop Café on the first floor.

This is my second time for the eyelash extension. The first time was about 6 years ago at a small salon. Hanna was the technician who did my eyelash extensions. She took time to explain the process, listen my concerns, and answer my questions. The whole thing went well and I can’t wait to show the result to my friends.
The place is nice and clean. Staff and manager are friendly and knowledgable. Appointment system is user friendly. The email reminder is very helpful.
I bought the membership, which is a good deal because I am planning coming back often!

I’ve had my lashes done here TWICE in the last 6 months. I’m a no-​nosense kind of girl and these extensions gave me a jazzed-​up look without the hassle. If you’re thinking of getting extensions, I highly recommend getting your lashes done at Lash Spot and with Hana. The quality is amazing, Hana is amazing!
THE PLACE: In Japantown, situated in amultistory building that includes a tea house, funky Japanese retail shops, and the adventure Escape the Room is also here. Fun Fun! The Lash Spot salon is a clean and relaxing environment. The owner is super sweet and so are all the staff.
The PROCEDURE: I thought it would hurt but it was surprisingly relaxing. The total time was 90 minutes and I think I may have dozed off at one point (it was a long day!). It’s a little tickllish. TIP: Do not wet your lashes during the first 24 hours!!!
The STYLIST: Hana was my stylist on both occassions. She’s terrific and very professional. On the first consultation, she educated me on lashes — what shape, length and curl worked best for my oval face. I was in good hands and what deft hands they were! Word. Not only is she a great lash stylist, she has the sweetest personality and is a great listener. She even gave me a brow touch-​up!
The second time I went to her I had a wedding to attend and she suggested I go longer than before. I was hesitant since I didn’t want it to look fake but she was right — it gave me the right level of drama but looked very natural.
The RESULT: My lashes are not supershort but they are Asian stick straight. I’m low-​maintenance and rarely put mascara on — just eyeliner. These lashes open up my face and gave me a younger, fresher look. Honestly, I didn’t even have to wear eye make-​up, it was that good. Noone really commented on the lashes directly, just that I looked greatl!!! :)
If you’ve been curious, try it. It’s a safe, effective way to drastically improve your look INSTANTLY!!!

I love the light in this space. The open top rooms let the light flow in, not that I could see much during my session with my eyes shut, but it made the place feel airy.
I had never done this before and I am not a super girly girl or the one to give beauty advice, so I had no idea what to expect. My lash technician was Hana, and she was patient with my straight thin lashes! We also chatted for most of the session which made the session more fun.
I was really happy with the result, because I didn’t have to put mascara on for several weeks, which was super awesome, since you know how it can get tedious. Also, the lashes felt super natural, soft and stayed curly at the same time.
Yep! I would go back again to get my lashes done with Hana.

I’ve never gotten my lashes done before but I’m getting married this weekend and decided it’d be fun to do, especially not having to worry about doing much makeup on the honeymoon. I came to Lashspot and my lash tech was Hanh, she did such an awesome job! She absolutely killed it, I can’t believe how natural they feel and look.
I’m a pretty no frills person and this is absolutely no frills and if you want frills, she can definitely do that. She’ll start off with a questionare to find out what look you are going for and she will do it accordingly… I had no idea that was possible! I’m so glad I decided to try this spot out and I feel so lucky to have had Hanh do it because they look goooooood.

When my friend told me about lash extensions I was pretty underwhelmed. It sounded sort of scary and I didn’t want to be running around like Kim Kardashian. But then I saw her lashes and became a little bit more interested. I decided to give it a try and booked an appointment.
Upon my arrival I was given a glass of wine, but didn’t even have time to drink it before I was whisked into one of the booths with Monique. She offered me a warm blanket and then did a consultation about what I was expecting. Then I basically passed out for the next 2 hours while she did her thing. It was actually pretty comfy and silent.
I woke up and voila I had lashes! Long, amazing lashes unlike anything that I could have imagined. And they looked pretty darned natural even if they were crazy long and curly and thick. I really was impressed. Monique explained what I could and could not do — like don’t use oil based products on my face — and then sent me on my way.
Flash forward a few weeks (3 to be exact) and I came in for a fill. I still had lashes although I had lost a few on the inside and outside. I probably would go 2 ½ weeks max in the future with the sweet spot being about 2 weeks.
Lashes still look amazing. It is so great to wake up and look in the mirror and feel pretty with no makeup on. Even my Mom complimented me when she saw me and she never notices anything like that. She couldn’t tell they were fake, but didn’t know what I had done to make my eyes pop like that. Woot.
Definitely recommend! It might be pricey to get started, but they really make you feel pretty. Totally worth it.
