Prior to starting my own law firm in 2010, I gained experience handling landlord/​tenant matters at Bay Area Legal Aid and the Eviction Defense Collaborative, and in employment law matters at worker-​side law firms handling wage and hour and discrimination claims. Prior to going to law school I taught philosophy and rhetoric at the university level for seven years.

Consulted Dan for advice regarding a dispute with a neighbor about an easement type of thing. Dan treated us with respect and attention despite the relatively minor nature of the issue. He gave us a very reasonable flat rate. He also listened carefully and provided some very sensible advice and some draft language for a communication to the neighbor, all in less than a day. Would definitely recommend him.

Daniel was fantastic in helping me with my unemployment case! My former employer told me one thing and EDD another, so it caused a whole lot of problems that led to me getting denied unemployment. That’s when I got Daniel involved — He was there for every step of the process and prevented me from messing anything up. It was all really straight-​forward and stress free, which is exactly what I was hoping. I would highly recommend him if you’ve been denied unemployment and need someone in your corner to help you get through the appeals process.

Dan was so incredibly helpful with my unemployment insurance hearing. He helped me right from the beginning with the paperwork for filing an appeal when I was denied UI after my telephone interview. My former boss is a vindictive nut job so I thought I’d better hire someone right away, and Dan was really supportive and did a great job preparing all of my evidence for the hearing. He even went the extra mile and showed up for me at my second hearing (my ex-​boss filed an appeal after the case was closed) because he didn’t want me to have any more problems. He made sure I was prepared for the hearing (s) and always communicated well. Highly recommended!
