LGBT Asylum — Law Office of Caleb Arring focuses on immigration for people who are LGBT identified. There are many misconceptions about the rights of LGBT immigrants in the United States. Caleb works almost exclusively with LGBT people. Caleb provides a safe space for LGBT identified people to open up and explore their options for status in the United States. LGBT immigrants can feel vulnerable when looking for an attorney, it is important to be represented by someone who understands. Caleb has spent his life as a member of the LGBT community, and taught other professionals about providing a safe space when working with LGBT clients. Meet the Business Owner

Caleb A.

Business Owner

Caleb was born in Germany and came to the United States just before his 8th birthday. In San Francisco Caleb found a place to call home. As part of the queer community Caleb has found a place he can blend in and stand out.

Through immigration law Caleb has found a way he can help some of the most vulnerable people in the LGBT community. As an LGBT identified person, Caleb knows many of the struggles that our community faces. Caleb’s goal is to provide high quality accessible legal representation to immigrants who identify as LGBT. Caleb started this firm to ensure that LGBT immigrants have a space where they can seek help where they feel safe, accepted and understood.

* Caleb was recognized with the «Most Innovative Student Leader» in 2004 for his work organizing a week of events to recognize the Transgender Day of Remembrance.

* Caleb has provided workshops for companies that work with LGBT people.

* Caleb has frequently guest lectured in classes on gender and sexual orientation.
