I have had the pleasure of learning Mandarin Chinese at Ling Ming Mandarin over the past year and enthusiastically recommend this school for anyone interested in becoming conversant in the Chinese language. Over this time period I have been taught by most of Ling Ming’s teachers, including Ling herself, Sandy, Dennis, Joy, Lisa, Yang Yang, and Yi Rong. Ling Ming was very helpful and accommodating to my Mandarin expectations, she made sure to understand my time availability and worked around it. I tool private classes with Yang Yang, who is not only very knowledgeable but also very dedicated to make sure you understand and learn completely. I totally recommend their services.

I can’t say enough good things about Ling Ming Mandarin. I have been taking weekly classes with Ling for many months now and she is a fantastic tutor. I started at a level I would categorize as forgetful high beginner — I had studied Mandarin at a language camp as a kid and again in college but this was longer ago than I care to admit. Ling was patient in tailoring our lessons to review what I did already know and filling in the holes in my prior knowledge base before we moved on to unfamiliar topics. I’ve had the pleasure to get tutored by Ling for a couple of months twice a week on an individual basis and also with other students at seesaw as a crash course in mandarin before i move to shanghai.

Ling is a great teacher. She is patient, prepared and appears to teach with ease. She was a mandarin instructor for a toddler group at seesaw for a few months and she was reliable and conscientious.
