L’Occitane

Sometimes, a girl needs to buy herself some high-​end body care. I came here having done some research and wanting to try specific products. Stephanie (I think that was the sales associate’s name?) was super pleasant and helpful, while not being pushy at all. Yay!

I was here when they were having «mini facials.» I got hooked on their products when a co-​worker had me «like» their product on facebook in order to score a free shea butter hand cream. I ended up buying some stuff from online and was really pissed because they didn’t include a $ 10 gift card as the promo stated (online). So to make it up I decided to take advantage of their skincare event. So, my appointment was for 3:30, I called in advance of maybe 15 minutes and got there before 3:30pm. The clerk tells me that they are running behind, like 30 – 45 minutes. I’m thinking «Dude, I just called you not long ago, why didn’t you tell me, I could’ve just come later,» but me being me, I said «that’s cool, I don’t have to be anywhere» and hang around walking the mall. I come back and they do the facial thing, ask me what’s up with my skin, blah blah blah. When the person actually starts, he seems all giddy, I’m just thinking like Dude calm down but whatever, people are walking in and buying stuff like crazy and there’s only him, thus the giddiness, but I’m thinking like why didn’t they have more than two people on staff during a «skincare event?» The other person was just taking her lunch and you can tell this place likes to provide good customer service considering the prices of their product. Well anyway, the facial is done and over with and I decide to get some products but man is the store packed! The clerk uses this opportunity to let me «decide» what I want to get so he can help other people. That’s cool so I grab what I want, taking my time because I don’t want to impose, but wandering the store for another 20 minutes is absurd for me so I just stand in front of the register and sort of «demand» assistance through my presence alone and walk out of L’Occitane 3 hours later. Remember I was there before 3:30pm. What should have been a 15 – 30 minute facial… I just wanted to get out of there. Love the product but service sucks!

I absolutely LOVE Loccitane products. I am hooked! It is so nice there is a Loccitane store in Stonestown. The store always has everything I need. I am sad to see Bruno go, he was so knowledgeable and helpful but per Bruno he is off to greener pastures and has nothing but wonderful things to say about Loccitane.
I can’t say enough about Loccitane products. They are perfect in every way. They are enviornmentally, animal and human friendly. I was amazed when I heard about all the charity the company does for the blind. All the way from the smallest product to the head CEO you can tell Loccitane really cares. I can not live without the shea butter products they produce. If you think all skin lotions are the same, you have not tried Loccitane. Their products are bit more expensive than national name brand products but for the difference in smell, texture and effectiveness it is a DEAL! If I were rich I would by stock in this company. The products are incredible.

This is a new store location. The sales representative was very nice and knowledgeable of all L’Occitane products, so I bought a Verbena set today.
