Love and trust this place and it’s mechanic’s. I have brought my car here a few times for various issues and each time they steer me in the right direction. My most recent visit was due to an oil leak. I was worried about an expensive repair job, but they found quickly that it was just a lose oil filter. They replaced it and I was on my way for very little cost. They also took time to show me where the leak started and to fix my tail light. TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

Amazing! Super fast and really friendly service. I came here to have a few holes drilled into my front bumper for a license plate. Took 30 minutes AND they vacuumed the inside of the car, free of charge.

Lombard Auto Body is a great place to have your auto body repaired. Jack and Marvin are wonderful to work with. Jack is exceptionally responsive, never talks down to anyone, and works within your means. Marvin does exceptional work, as he had when it was Lombard Collision Works when I first went back in 2005. I highly recommend this place.

Today we picked up our Lexus from the folks at Lombard Auto Body where they did an excellent job repairing a side bumper. For a very reasonable price and in a short period of time, they took care of a bad eye sore. Jack was knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with! Highly recommended service!

I’ve brought 3 of my cars into Lombard Auto Body and for my cars; they got the right treatment. Jack I’ve known for years. Every book has a good and bad part, you do, I do and we all do. If you think otherwise, I’ll tell you now, You’re not NOT GOD.
Marvin, I’ve knows for about half the time. Hes a good solid hard worker. For an auto body shop and even some restaurants; has a clean a$$ bathroom.
The shop is spacious and doesn’t look like some kind of chop shop you’d see in the mission or in Pittsburg.
I’d definitely bring my Ferrari back

This place is unbelievably friendly. Jack is the owner and he was a delight. I called to get a detail and they took my car within 1 hour. They began cleaning before they even received payment. They worked with my company car agents and spent 30 mins on the phone with the agents to make sure everything was done properly. They gave me a reasonable time to be finished and they were actually done on time. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to bring their car in!

My experience with Lombard Auto Body and Jack Chew is a positive one. When they promised my car would be ready in two weeks, a wave of skepticism followed. (other places said three weeks) The car was delivered on time and clean, inside and out.
Jack did a great job staying in touch with updates. Hopefully, I never need to visit Lombard AutoBody again, but I would definitely return here for repairs.

Someone left a business card on my car, so, I called up. Jack was careless. Not willing to help. I tried to ask him about some negative feed back they have on Unilocal and he dropped the conversation and hanged up on me.

I also notice most of their positive Unilocal reviews are from folks with less than 10 reviews.hmmm.
I was also skeptical when they were asking if I had car insurance which they would up-​charge for any body work. Hmm, so you will charge insurance companies more than cash pay customers.
Avoid this place for car details — too many other places to spend your hard earned money.

If you are looking to get your car fixed for what ever reason, this place is the «go to place». They are honest and care about customer service and are professionals. I live in San Jose and I am willing to drive any day of the week to this shop to get my car fixed by them. I was in and out of their shop within an hour. If your looking for a shop this is the place to go to!

I like Jack and feel confident leaving my car at Lombard Auto Body. He’s always done things without error and with a smile. I’ll go back.

I think I’ve found my new «go to» shop for car repairs! They went above and beyond to repair a hit and run damage on my car =’) At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to come all the way here since I live in Daly City. But I’m glad I went with my gut feeling about this place. Jack is AWESOME and he definitely made this unpleasant situation a lot easier. Prompt responses all the time and he really cares about his clients! It took three weeks to get my car back but it was because my annoying insurance carrier is unprofessional/​inconsistent — I’ll save my complaint for a bad review on their Unilocal page. Anyway, after the shop got the «ok» to begin working on the car, Jack said it would take about 5 days. The shop finished in 2 days!!! When I came to the shop, I saw my shiny car waiting for me. Without any additional costs, they had touched up some scratches/​dents, cleaned my dirty ass rims, removed the oxidation on my headlights, and washed my car cleaner than I will ever be able to! I can’t thank them enough for the service they provided. Definitely referring family and friends here. Thank you, Lombard Auto Body!!!

Brought my car here after I was rear ended. They did great work on the repair, but more importantly went out of their way to help me with the rental car as well as working with my timeline. I would recommend them to anyone.

Came here for some pretty straightforward work, but Jack kept on pushing me to do extra work under some notion that doing extra work will save me money if we ‘work something out’ with my insurance company. Just seemed overly complicated if not altogether sketchy while also clearly ignoring everything I’d said about just keeping things simple and cheap. Declined working with them altogether.
Edit: Was that reply double-​spaced? Seems like there’s a lot between the lines. I could put up some photos of the work you felt would have ‘been necessary down the line’.

Jack is great — very responsive over texts and email. He is easy to work with and does his best to help you in your situation. His team is also great — they occasionally provide discounts to ease the burden on customers.
I came to him after my car accident and he walked me through the process of dealing with it and getting the car fixed. He was very patient and helpful. Definitely recommend Lombard Auto Body for anyone with car troubles!

After my car got pummeled by a can of neon orange paint, I called Jack at Lombard Auto Body. Jack worked with me (on a Sunday, when the shop is technically closed) to discuss options and was extremely helpful and flexible throughout the whole process. He gave me regular updates as the work progressed and he and his team really went above and beyond to give my car a sparkling new polished finish sans neon orange paint, all at a very reasonable price. You get the sense they really work hard for customer satisfaction here. My car has had some unfortunate luck, but I’m hoping it’s on the up and up after this recent trip to Lombard Auto Body.

Probably the best auto shop I’ve ever been too.
I needed my fender and headlight fixed, and was nervous about finding a place in SF. However, I am really glad to have found Lombard Auto Body.
Jack Chew provided me with a host of options for fixing my car, and provided a very fair price for his services.
Not only did the car look great after it was fixed, Jack and his team went above and beyond with their customer service. Jack kept a very open dialogue and was very responsive to both texts and phone calls.
He went the extra mile to accommodate my difficult work schedule, even allowing me to pick up and drop off my car at 10pm on Friday nights.
I would strongly recommend this shop to anyone, particularly if you live in the Marina/​Pac Heights neighborhoods.

Lombard Auto Body saved my life. Or my car’s life. Or that’s not the point. Point is, Lombard Auto Body not only demonstrated exemplary professional skills and execution but also opened up their hearts to me when I needed it most. I trust them with my mobility.
I left my car with my partner and left the state on a one-​way ticket. Naturally, it spazzed out and went all systems down without warning. My partner called Lombard on a Sunday and they came out to fix the vehicle on site Monday morning. They arrived at 8:30am, diagnosed the problem, and had the car on the road by 9:15am. All the way on the other side of the country, I didn’t even know there was an issue until there wasn’t.
The doods at Lombard are like auto body angels. Very grateful and will certainly be returning next time my vehicle needs service or improvement of any kind.
