Her work focuses on clean lines and purity of forms, a reverence for nature and balance, and a love of materials and light. She believes strongly in an integrative design approach. History
Established in 2010.
Lorissa Kimm established Lorissa Kimm Architect in 2010, after a very fruitful and productive 8 years as a partner in Dowling Kimm Studios. During this time, she and her partner Julie Dowling, focused on clean line, timeless designs for Residential and Hospitality clients. Prior to that partnership, Lorissa was a Vice President at Brayton and Hughes Design Studio, where she designed and managed the design of a number of 5 star hotels and spas. The integration of Interiors, Architecture and Landscape stems from her 6 year tenure with Michael Graves Architect, whose holistic approach to design has greatly influenced how she approaches Design.
