Magic Dragon is a great smoke shop with almost unbeatable prices in the Bay Area. They have a large selection of glass and great customer service. I will definitely be returning soon.

Magic Dragon is my one stop shop for all my hookah and glass needs. I enjoy the array selection he has in tobaccos to all the AMAZING glass he carries. I truly appreciate the great and friendly customer service here, and I always walk away with a lot of goodies. I have been a customer here for almost 3 years and I always have a great experience! I walked into this shop looking for hookah supplies. This shops stocks some of the newest and best quality items for all your smoking ventures. Every time I go there the staff has been nothing but helpful and even go out of their way to strike up a conversation not because they have to but because they actually care. This shop is a perfect example of customer service at its best.
I can’t think of a time I’ve gone there that they didn’t have what I needed. With over 200 different hookah flavors and always the latest in Starbuzz and Fumari. There are several shops closer to me but I go out of my way, because they are simply the best around

I’ve been a customer at this place for almost a year. I’ve seldom seen the same person behind the counter and thought nothing of it.
After many visits and subsequent purchases I will not be a customer any longer.
I stopped by the store today to exchange a torch lighter I had purchased a few weeks earlier. When I approached the counter the guy who was there insisted I didn’t purchase my item there. The price tag was different and he didn’t stock the brand. I asked again how had I been able to purchase it there if that was true. He stated he was the only salesperson there with the exception of a guy that works on Sunday. He was very defensive and got irritated when other customers entered the shop. He ignored me to make sales and as I left he assured me I had not in fact made the purchase there because if I had he would have been more than happy to help me.
I’m not crazy and I’m not a baked idiot. This place is shady as hell. He had employees stocking the shelves and selling their own personal stock. Period.
I would never purchase another item from this location again.

Today I walked into Magic Dragon Smoke Shop to hopefully buy a worked Medicali water pipe, but when I was in the shop I came across a Hitman x Cookies mini beaker collab that I have wanted in a while. I only had $ 230 and the Hitman was $ 300, but the owner gave me an incredible deal on it. I only had to pay $ 230 and write a Unilocal review. I walked out of the shop so excited. This place has good deals and good glass, not only that but they have great customer service. This place makes you feel like home.

I love this smoke shop, they have always given me extremely good deals. I have bought multiple items from this store and they have never failed me. The owner is a really nice guy who is very knowledgable about glass. I highly recommend shopping at magic dragon smoke shop.

I couldn’t be any happier leaving the Magic Dragon with a pipe that I have wanted forever. There are so many smoke shops in SF and after doing an extensive search for a pipe in the shape of a pumpkin, I finally found it HERE!!! The service was amazing, and I couldn’t help but get so excited over the selection, that I also bought a new vapor pen. Thank you Magic dragon, you’ve gained a customer for life!!!

Honestly this is the worst smoke shop in all of the Bay Area. The prices are HIGH and the dumbass who runs the pathetic store is a «macho man» who always repeats some inappropriate pick up line for any and every girl who goes in. Stay away and just spend your valuable time and money somewhere else that isn’t an overall disappointment! The idiot doesn’t even sell cigarettes.

Such a great place to get he essentials. They have a pretty great selection of shisha and glass pipes. Every time we go in there, the staff is really nice and helpful. We get all our hookah supplies here and they are just a solid, place where we know we can go to get anything we need.

By far the Best smoke/​head shop in the SF area! Prices are the unbelievably low! They don’t mark up there pieces and then offer 50% off like the shops on haight street which still ends up being more expensive then the magic dragon! They are fully stocked with anything you could need, and the staff in here are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient. This is the place to go to for BEST service, selection and pricing. They have from all big name brands to all kinds of local blowers which i love to support! They also have a HUGE selection of Hookahs and accessories and hookah tobacco

I walked into magic dragon the other day. I was surprised cuz they had over 50 brands of American glass. This place is definitely not one of the shady shops u see in the Mission. They sell top notch glass. The guy there greeted me. I told him it was my birthday and he knocked 20% off the price of an illadelph. It was a platinum edition illadelph which I should not find any where! Took it home and it hits like a champ! The guy there is super knowledgeable and even threw in a bottle of 420 cleaner for my bday. I would not shop any where else. This place is off the hook! U will be shocked at how many American glass companies they carry! It’s nuts!!! 5 stars!!!

Stopped by here for the first time in a while and it was awesome! I loved the selection, and I loved the service. Joe was very nice and helpful when it came to helping me select a pipe that fit my style. Also, he showed me some super fresh Giants-​themed merch, and I am really tempted to save up and buy something else!
If you’re ever in the area doing laundry, eating tacos, or just passing by, please stop in. You won’t regret it!

All the reviews here that give this place 4 – 5 stars are kids under 25 that have no clue what a smoke shop is.
I just bought a glass bong today and when I got it home had chips next to the stem. Will I go back and exchange it? Not after the bad tatse of my experience. 2^nd time there after i was sold the wrong stem.
No not worth the time at this place. 2^nd rate smoke shop that sells to SF State kids who have daddies money…

Wanted to review this really badly because I wanted to start out by saying «Puff, the Magid Dragon, who lived by the sea… La, La, La!!»
Absolutely flabbergasted of how absolutely convenient it is to have this smoke shop located right in the premises of SFSU/​Park Merced neighborhood. Promoting the hippie movement much? (To say it nicely, actually this might be an insult). This place has got to be bringing in the big bucks because these students who do for some reason need to step foot in here, this location saves a trip to the the Haight — Ashbury area.
Get all the papers here. Get all the knick knacks in here, some cool interestingly shaped gadgets. Hm, why don’t you look at the posters while you’re at it too.

I haven’t written a review in a while, and felt compelled to write this one after the many times I’ve been and had good service. The selection is BALLER! I really like that they have everything marked with a price
lets me know that I am getting the same deal as everyone else and they aren’t pricing the product by the way I look (like they do on haight).
The prices are always under what I would expect to pay, especially on the water pipes and bubblers. They even have beer pong supplies now! It’s like a head shop meets Spencers. Love it!
The staff is always friendly. I have only met two of them. One is a tall white guy and the other is (I think) the owner. Both of them are really cool and I usually end up leaving while laughing at one of their jokes. One time i didnt have enough and they noted that because I have been in so many times that it was ok! how about that!!! A smoke shop that has a soul!!!
As for the two 1 star reviews … I highly doubt that they threw change at you and then tried to hit you… come on. I have been in there and seen them handle some of the trash bags that you often have to deal with at smoke shops. They didnt lose their cool and the only time they stepped down from behind the counter was to ask them to leave.
I stopped Unilocaling for awhile because I often found that Unilocalers over exaggerate their experiences and think that when posting on a public forum, they are able to sabotage an owner’s business and in some ways be able to get things for free in return for a better review. It perplexes me why people go to this extent. You can often tell vindictive customer’s by how many reviews they’ve actually written. Sometimes, when you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
Anyhow, If you want cheap glass from out of country then go to the mission… if you want solid american glass then go to the Magic Dragon Smoke Shop, The silver lining to Park Merced!
I will be returning soon and spreading the word to all my friends about this place! Thanks guys for always being solid.
