We got a solid deal on a new bed for my mother in law. And, when we determined the box spring was too tall, they quickly replaced it with a shorter one. Easy and cost-​effective!

Great experience buying a mattress from Scott with help from Omar and Fidel at Mancini’s. Low pricing, tax-​free. Free delivery and haul away of old mattress is a huge perk. Scott helped us find exactly what we wanted in our price range. It was quick and easy! Fidel helped us when we realized we had ordered the wrong size (so embarrassing!). Delivery was within 3 days and delivery team was professional. Appreciated the five-​star service!

After moving to San Francisco, I took my new mattress search very seriously. Ordered a Casper. It was ok, but I believed in my heart there was something better out there for me. Went to a tuft & needle showroom. Very similar to Casper. Overall, too firm for me. I’m a stomach sleeper trying to convert to my side or back. Also, I sleep hot and feel like I’m on fire within 2 minutes of laying down on latex-​Ikea mattresses. I had wanted to avoid smarmy mattress salesman in a mattress store, but decided to see what was out there.
Prepared to lay down a bunch and get sold to, I headed to Van Ness, where there’s a few mattress stores all in a row. Men in suits proceeded to hard-​sell me on mattresses, starting high and negotiating down to good deals, but a good deal on a mattress you don’t love isn’t worth much.
And then I walked into Mancini’s Sleepworld. Fidel let me go up and play Goldilocks on all the mattresses within my price range for as long as I wanted. When I found a couple I wanted to know more about, he came and gave me a mattress education. He spent time explaining things I didn’t even know to ask. He was very matter of fact, and just an all around cool dude. He obviously knew his stuff, but didn’t really care whether I bought a mattress or not — he was just doing his job and doing it well. And that made me want to buy one from him.
I found an amazing mattress, but it was a bit above my price range. It was clearly the One though, and so Fidel gave me an awesome deal on it. After I paid, I hung around and chatted with him for a while. He’s tall, and has an accent. Can’t miss him. Be nice to Fidel, he’ll be nice to you. Oh, and then the mattress arrived first thing the next morning, delivery free of charge.

Great service! I went to three stores when shopping for a new bed. Christine at Mancini’s was the best! She was definitely more knowledgeable than the people at the other stores I went to. Not pushy at all but very informative and asked me questions to help me determine the best bed (the other stores seemed to just wait to answer my questions). I purchased my bed close to a year ago and I love it. Price was good too. Delivery was also good.
I recently called over to ask for pricing to get a mattress bag (for moving). They found me in the system and since I purchased my bed there they got it for me for free and had it available to pick up the next day, AND called me when it arrived just to confirm.

If you want an education, humor and an all-​around friendly person to sell you a mattress, ask for Fidel… he’s 6 foot 5… can’t miss him ;)
He is hands down one of the best sales person I’ve ever dealt with.

Jalil was patient, listened to what I wanted, showed me some great options and helped me find my perfect one! Mancini’s had the best deal in town for the one I chose, and scheduling delivery and learning how to maintain my mattress was easy.
Then the movers came and just added to that incredible in store experience. They were also patient as I rearranged some things, asked before doing anything like setting in the box spring, mattress.

So, I walk in on a Monday afternoon and speak with Alex. He definitely knows his stuff. Not only did he give me options based on my requisites, he also took the time to find out how I sleep. Educated me on the different types of mattresses, based on my sleeping patterns and showed me several options that fit my budget. Not only did he go above and beyond showing me amazing mattresses, he listened to what I wanted and never got pushy. I admire that. So, walk in, found a mattress Monday and today, (Tuesday), I have an amazing mattress to sleep on. Thank you Alex! I am extremely grateful. He also was able to give me a great deal. Definitely more than I was expecting. Go to Mancini’s to support local businesses and leave with an amazing experience and an awesome bed!

I initially found shopping for a mattress to be the most unexciting thing to do. Until I stopped at Mancini on Van ness st. Jalil helped me find the best mattress and movable base for my health needs.. We explored the benefits of Tempurpedic with a movable base and he showed me how one could take my back pain away.. . I stopped prior to the other two mattress stores in the area.. Both were the same company!(sleep train) They told me that they would have to charge me for delivery $ 79.00 dollars for the same day! I don’t know about you but if I can get my delivery, set up and disposal of my mattress for free that’s a no brainer. I am so pleased I found my way to Mancini the staff was attentive and Jalil is very thoughtful.

We stopped in to Mancini looking for a new bed. We worked with Jalil and after testing almost every bed in the store we settled on the Rolls Royce of beds — the Thempurpedic Cloud Luxe. We left there with Jalil’s great offer, but wanted to do research on it. After going to other stores and talking to the sales reps, we learned what Jalil had been telling us all along — we weren’t going to find a better deal anywhere else. We had free delivery, 120 day free return policy, and free financing — in addition to a great deal on the mattress. I’m not sure if we’ll be need to be in the market again for a new mattress for a long time, but if you are I’d talk to Jalil and get the hookup.

Glad I bought my mattress here. The reason for the 5 star rating is because of the ease of my experience, and that mainly due to Alex, the guy who helped me. Would recommend anyone to give Alex here at Mancini’s an opportunity to earn your business!
My mattress involved a lot of back and forth between Mancini’s, Sleepworld, Mattress Discounter, and other local stores. Additionally, I have a friend in the furniture business so I had a good idea of the price I was after. After a few weeks of trying to get each place to beat the other on the mattress I knew I wanted, I saw a great deal online through US Mattress (couple hundred dollars lower than what anyone was offering me). I took it to Mancini’s, expecting whoever would be helping me to give me a hard time. However, Alex was really helpful in getting me the price match. I let him know right when I walked in what mattress I wanted and he didn’t waste my time by skipping the floor tour. I showed him the deal and he worked with me on the price matching. Throughout the sale, he was friendly and energetic (this was half an hour before store closing, which can be grounds for not getting the best side of people). Alex also gave me some good tips on mattress care, went over the Mancini’s return policies and warranty with me, and never hesitated to re-​explain things when I asked for clarification.
By the end of the sale, I was getting the mattress I wanted at the price I was happy with on the very next day, and Alex had upgraded my box spring (not sure what difference a box spring makes, but I’ll take it). Ultimately, I felt like Alex genuinely wanted to help me get what I want and I would want to do business with him again.

After visiting Mancini’s Van Ness location, my fiancé and I decided to buy our Cal-​King Tempur-​pedic bed from Matt. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight in helping us choose the perfect mattress. If your on the market for a new bed, we highly recommend buying it from Mancini’s. Their 110 trial days and 100% full-​return policies are definite reasons to consider them. (Didnt know how to delete it and wasnt sure if it would be back-​dated but this review is from about 5 years ago. It was sitting in drafts).

This store has the BEST customer service. I’ve used them twice now, talking with a great women at the desk who gave us a good deal and was beyond professional and helpful last spring, and then today with Scott.

Go see Alex. He’s a mattress expert that prides himself on carefully aligning your sleep needs to a mattress. Best mattress purchasing experience ever.

There are three mattress places within the two blocks of Van Ness Avenue. The three try to compete for the better prices and selection.
The average life-​span of a mattress is about a decade. My previous one is twelve years, which is well-​beyond the duration and about time for a change. «I have had many great times with my previous mattress too!»
I was here during the «Fourth of July special» promotion. I just purchased a Full-​size and firm Tempur-​pedic mattress for $ 749 out of the door. I get that mattress delivered to my crib within two hours after my purchase.
The upgrade from my old Serta to the Tempur-​pedic was a huge improvement and better for battered body. I actually sleep a lot better at night since my new mattress.
The knowledgeable salespeople know their stuff and know what mattress is right for my body. They are not pushy either, in which I also like.
Now, Joe Cool is going to sleep in his new bed. ZZZZZZZZ!!!

Amazing store and super nice workers. The guy I worked with here was able to get me a mattress at $ 50 cheaper than Mattress Discount, which was nicer and included a bed frame, and had free same day delivery (Mattress Discount was able to, at best, do next day delivery). The people that helped deliver the bed showed up right at the start of the delivery window, worked quickly and were very friendly.
I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a bed in the SF area.

So, after about 15 days of sleeping on our new mattress, I have to write a review. Not just on the mattress but Suni @ Mancini’s. She was wonderful to work with!
We had a mattress that had sunk in, in the middle. It was defective and Suni helped us pick out a new mattress that is AMAZING! (Tempurpedic).
I originally had planned on just tossing the Sealy Mattress we purchased at Mancini’s 2 years ago (thinking, what kind of crappy company would sell me this POS mattress!?) and was going to buy a mattress from SleepTrain. After talking to Suni twice on the phone, we came into the store, and have never had such wonderful customer service!

Buying a new mattress is not something you should have to do very often. But after sleeping on a Tempurpedic for about 2 years (which I love, but my wife does not), when we bought a new house the decision was simple to get a new bedroom set and mattress.
After doing tons of online research and walking away more confused than informed, we decided to kick the tires and went to Mancini’s Sleep World on Van Ness. There were a few other people in the store, but the sales person Christina immediately greeted us and helped us as soon as she was free. We generally knew what we wanted (firmness, materials, price) and she suggested a variety of options and encouraged us to test them out, even suggesting different sleeping positions to get the actual fit (vs plopping down on our back). She was patient and informative as we cycled through a number of manufacturers and firmness levels. Once we settled on the mattress (Airloom medium firmness), we tested out the bases and ended up going with the Tempurpedic base with remote adjustments and massage, steering away from the cheaper (but noisier) in-​store brand.
I can honestly say that if anyone needs a new mattress and wants a pleasant, hassle-​free experience, head over to Mancini’s and ask for Christina. You won’t be sorry!

Christina could not have made my mattress buying experience any easier! She was super helpful, sifting through dozens of mattresses to find one that exactly fit my needs. Unlike my previous mattress store visits elsewhere, she was incredibly respectful of my budget. I found a perfectly suited mattress at a great price. I even threw her a curveball when I asked if my old boxspring could be delivered to a friend’s apartment. She sorted it all out immediately, found a delivery timeframe that worked for both of us, and had me walking out of the store without an ounce of concern!
I was hesitant that delivery would go smoothly the next morning, as SF deliveries to apartments never seem to be as easy as expected. The delivery guys were at my apartment early, in and out in a matter of minutes, and delivered my old box spring to my friend in a matter of minutes — even taking time to re-​wrap it after leaving my place.
Mancini’s certainly hit it out of the park on selection, price, and customer service!

Did a lot of research to find the right mattresses for my purpose.
Mancini’s had a great model and a very good price on-​line, so I decided to check it out at this store.
Walking in, I was greeted almost immediately by Suni and she encouraged me to look around, so I did. She showed me a few different mattresses, and then I asked about the one I’d seen on-​line. We walked over to it and I checked it out. It was perfect.
Went and checked out another place, and came back here and bought my new bed.
Great purchase, great service. And I got it the next day. Perfect!
