Small unassuming shop. I was referred to her by another tailor who said I had a specialty item he couldn’t fix because of the way it was made… Mattie is very nice, over 18 years of experience, and I’ve now brought her a few things that she’s altered with a swift turnaround. Will definitely use her for all my alterations!

i highly recommend mattie on silver. i’ve never taken leather goods but she’s fixed more than one tricky repair issue for us involving heavy duty zippers, rivets, straps. and i’m pretty sure she has the equipment and skill needed for leather.
she also usually has a fast turn around. the one issue is that her shop hours are a little irregular.
if memory serves, she started out in her business as an on staff tailor for all the officers over in Presidio. she really knows men and women’s attire. i’ve been using her services for clothing alterations since 1992.
