History

Established in 1997.

McMahon Construction was started in 1997 as a result of wanting to create a company that provides «fine quality remodeling». Having been in the position myself of buying a home and it needing a full remodel, I know first hand what a big and important undertaking it is. It is so important that the homeowner and contractor are on the same page.

With McMahon Construction each client is given the personal attention they need to feel comfortable with the project — from start to successful completion of the job. We at McMahon Construction always follow our motto of «quality, trust & efficiency» ensuring that the homeowner gets the finest quality craftsmanship, trusting your home to competent workers and completing the project on time and on budget. I have 26 years of experience. My apprenticeship was 4 years in Belfast, Northern Ireland, specializing in Genuine Victorian Architectural Detail. After a further 4 years experience in Belfast, I moved to San Francisco to further expand my trade. Since then, I have completed numerous projects all over the San Francisco/​Marin areas.

The scope of work included in these projects range from full home remodels, making on-​site custom furniture to «a la carte» options to suit our clients needs.

Our standards exceed our clients expectations. We believe that «quality, efficiency & trust» are a necessity in completing every project no matter how big or small. We listen to what our clients needs and wants are, and we work with that to give them a final product that fits within their budget and also gives them what they want in the project they are completing. All these aspects are very important in keeping a client happy and that is what we do best.
