Established in 2012.

The idea behind Grace in Motion rose from the need to measure my success as a physical therapist by the quality, not quantity, of my work, and from the need to give my patients a better experience of their body by improving the quality of their movement.

Meenakshi P.

Business Owner

Meenakshi Prabhakar worked as a physical therapist in Boston, New York City, Bakersfield and Salinas before before parking her bicycle in San Francisco. After spending years working in private practice and in hospitals, she discovered she could provide better care for her patients if she worked for herself. And so Grace in Motion Physical therapy was born.

A self-​described movement geek, Meenakshi combines her background as a dancer and movement analyst with her physical therapy training to understand why injuries occur during movement, and what it really means to move optimally.
