Menhong Clinic

Despite a mild fear of needles, I went to the Menhong Clinic to see if I could get relief for some chronic lower back pain. (I had gotten so tight it hurt to bend over to put on my shoes — and I’m not old!) I did get immediate relief and now I go back about once a month. I’ve been seeing Oliver for nearly a year and I have still never seen a needle. :-) The other amazing part (besides the fact that the treatments really work) is that it absolutely doesn’t hurt. I don’t know how Oliver does it but it’s pain-​free treatment to relieve pain. NICE. Oh, and it’s deeply relaxing too.
Today I called Oliver for an «emergency» — I had aggravated some muscle in my back and it really hurt to lift anything, move or even sneeze. Multiple Advils provided little relief but now after his treatment I am much, much better — no Advil required.
Bottom line: Extremely safe, effective, conscientious, ethical, personable, and very affordable. I can’t imagine anyone better.

I cannot recommend Oliver enough; he is fantastic. I had never been to accupuncture before seeing Oliver. Although I knew friends who had it done, I was mildly skeptical that it might help. Boy, was I wrong.
I began seeing Oliver shortly before I took the Bar exam. I was nervous, stressed and losing sleep. A month before I took the test, I got hit by a car on my bicycle. Oliver was compassionate, caring and patient with me as I talked his ear off about my frayed nerves.
He worked with me to ease my stress and pain. (It’s hard to take Vicodin and study for the California Bar Exam!) After only a few treatments, I felt mellowed out and the pain began to fade from my legs.
I also like the fact that Oliver is not pushy. He is willing to give suggestions for various treatments and herbs, but I’ve never felt pressured by him. I’ve known other accupuncturists who seem more interested in running up a tab than treating their patients.
Oh, and I passed the Bar exam. Thanks, Oliver!

I first saw him when I had tendinitis in my shoulder and had been told I needed surgery — Oliver was able to cure me of all the pain in 3 visits! He’s very knowledgeable and easy-​going and can answer any questions you have about your treatment. I’ve sent a bunch of friends and acquaintances to him over the years and they all keep going back.
