I am so happy with the service in this shop. They greeted me like we’ve known each other for years and made me feel very comfortable. I was having a problem with my tail lights not working so Glen and Francis give me a free diagnostic and then fix the problem within 30 minutes. These guys know there stuff, are very friendly, and will give you the best possible price around.

Three phone calls to set up an appointment – five days later still no returned call! Is Lawton in prison? These people are not serious about their business, and this inattention to detail has to translate into their work!

Man they’re on top of things here. My dad’s old German car has been acting up, so fearing a huge bill from the dealer service center, I trusted a friend’s referral in coming here.
My communication was with Meagan who calmly asked me detailed questions in diagnosing what repairs are needed. The tricky thing about older vehicles is that they don’t electronically tell you what’s wrong. She called me later that afternoon to relay the technician’s findings. Then, after giving me an estimate, I gave them the go ahead, knowing that we needed this backup car if any family members’ car was in the shop. With an estimated return time, Megan called to confirm it was ready. In and out in less than ten minutes, I drove that baby home.
Easy peasy. 4 stars on the work +0.5 star for service, rounds up to 5. Didn’t want to bring their average down with a 4.

I am very happy that I found Metropolitan Motors after trying different services for my Mercedes Sprinter. Estimate and final invoice price were the same, perfect timing and very good quality. Ak — the owner of the shop gave me his professional opinion what have to be done without any extras. By the pick up time my vehicle was washed and it was good filling to drive out.

A good friend of mine recommended Metropolitan Motors so I decided to give them a try. As soon as I pulled my car inside, there was a mechanic on stand-​by ready to take the vehicle on a test drive to determine the problem. Later on that day I received an email with photographs detailing exactly what the problems were and what it would take to fix them. The total amount was well beyond my budget but Lawton was more than willing to work with me. My car was ready the very next day and they washed it and fixed my turn signal light free of charge. I would highly recommend this repair shop… you won’t be disappointed!

One of the best mechanics ever. Recently got my 2003 S55 B service here and all I can say is thank you Albert for referring me. Price right, honest and will be bringing my car back again. I love that he racked my vechicle and did a full walk around under it. During the walk around he took detailed pictures of problem areas and prioritize all items that needed attention, with price quotes. Before any work was started he emailed me everything, price, pictures etc. This shop is a must go for all benz owners, very professional top class service.

Clean shop with clean work on your ride. Very honest about what needs to be done with your car and will let you know about every or any additional services needed BEFORE the work is done.

Great service and clean. Very reasonable quote and explained what my dilapidated Mercedes needs thoroughly and prioritized my repairs. Communication is awesome and will definitely do business again.

Recently the sunroof on my 1998 E430 had issues opening up. My normal shop (a great one nonetheless) spent a number of hours and couldn’t debug the issue. Another Mercedes specialist I called on said I would expect to pay a minimum of $ 600 to start and should expect a bill of $ 1,500– $ 2,000 at the end of the day. I shouldn’t feel bad because he said some Mercedes panoramic roof repairs have exceeded $ 6,000 (Yikes!). In fact, he recommended that I go to the dealer to have it fixed (which would cost much more based on previous experience).
Not being deterred, I called a number of sunroof specialists who recommended I call one shop after another. As I made the calls, a European shop (Bay Motors Works) recommended that I call Lawton at Metropolitan Motors, and I’m glad I did. Based on the issue I described on the phone, Lawton was able to determine that I probably needed to have the drive cables replaced. Well, I took the car in later that day, and after looking at the issue Lawton recommended that I come back on a morning to give him time to repair it, which I did a few days later. A few hours after dropping off the car, I got a quote for $ 327 for everything, which was a great deal. I picked the car up that afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that they also washed the car, like a dealer shop.
At the end of the day, I really like Metropolitan Motors because you get friendly, dealer-​like treatment (from Claudia manages the front area and a clean, comfortable waiting area), honest service (so critical these days), and reasonable prices. Even having a shop dog (Choi) is a nice plus. I’m definitely coming back, and you should, too.

Dealership expertise without the dealership price. I must say, I am very impressed with the service here. Overall, it has a nice clean atmosphere and a squeaky clean waiting room with a nice TV. I think I just found a permanent shop to take care of my car!

I’ve always been protective of my cars and worry about them once I leave the shop but not at Metro Motors! Lawton provides excellent customer service and is extremely knowledgeable and would trust them with anything going wrong with my car. I gave them a try after a bad experience at the dealership services and will never go back to the dealership after coming here. Would recommend here to anyone!

I have had horrible experiences with past service shops. You never know what is going to happen once you leave the place. Either talked into something not needed or your car doesn’t seem any better. Well, I no longer need to worry about dealing with undependable crooks!

Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
Owning a luxury vehicle shouldn’t mean you should pay outrageous service rates. If you want to pay out-​the-​nose for servicing your car, then by all means continue to take your car to the dealership. The rates here are extremely reasonable, service is awesome, and they’re quick.
The shop is extremely clean too. They’re honest and won’t try to add additional service or recommendations that you don’t need.
They’ve serviced both my 2006 E350 and my 2009 E350. Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

I found this shop before John (the current owner took over this shop) and i found out that John is a very nice guy plus he did a good job to my car, not to mention his worker too did the same quality of the job and i am very pleased.
I trust this guy and also my brother keep coming back to his shop and few of my friends, we all trust him that he does the honest work and did not rip us off. He’ll tell what have to be replaced or fixed and give good price for estimation and thus not overcharged.

I love this place! John is the best mechanic ever! He takes the time to walk you through the issues with your car. He shows you the damaged parts he took out, and gives you a little tutorial. He doesn’t take advantage of you and fix things that don’t need to be fixed yet! His customer service is outstanding! You don’t hear about many upstanding mechanics in the city these days.
