I’ve been ordering here lately, it’s consistently good, they are very nice, ANDTHEYDELIVER!

Has severely gone down in food and service. Not the same as it used to be. Sad. I no longer come here.

Came here from lunch during work and I thought this place was pretty good! I didn’t expect the inside of this place to be nice and modern because from the outside, it looked pretty ran down. I ordered the Katsu Don($ 8.95), which came with miso soup and a salad! How nice! The katsu and the onions were really good and the portion is pretty big! They also have great lunch specials, $ 9.95 for two item bento boxes! Overall, satisfied!

Love their tempura udon and their lunch box. Make sure you come here before noon. It does really get busy after noon. I have yet their raw sushi but not as fresh.

So me and some others went to this place basically because the other sushi spots were booked. Man this place sucks. Majorly underwhelmed by the sushi. Fish did not taste fresh and the rice was stale. Server also had a serious attitude and not attentive at all. Had to fill up my own water wtf.

Mikado– Your sushi is old and gross. Stop giving people yesterday’s food before someone reports you to the health department. I just ordered food right when you opened and you would think it would be fresh. And of course you’re unwilling to admit that your food is garbage or even willing to meet me half way on the customer service side of things. For this reason, I am never coming back and will let all of my friends and family know that you suck. Thanks for nothing!

«Meh» is definitely an accurate description for this place. Pedestrian would also work, as I felt this place was average at best. What bothered me were their prices. A bit on the pricey side for not so great food. On a Friday night this place was empty, which raised some flags for me as well. I was being indecisive on what to eat for dinner and thus paid the price. I spent about $ 50 – 60 for two, and actually went to mcdonalds afterwards because I was still hungry. Their rolls were okay in terms of quality, but tiny, and upon seeing our food being brought out I was immediately disappointed. Food was 2 stars Value was 1 star Service was 3 stars

The food here was all right, but the service needs some definite improvement. I had the bento box with tonkatsu and spicy tuna, and it was fine. It also came with miso soup and salad. The server messed up the order twice! The box she originally served had tempura instead of tonkatsu. Also, my friend’s box had tonkatsu but it was supposed to be chicken katsu. I had also ordered the edamame to use the Unilocal check in deal(which i specified when ordering), but got charged at the end! When i pointed that out, she said the Unilocal size was different so i should have shown her the app before. She should have told me that in the beginning when i mentioned it, if that was the case — otherwise i wouldn’t have ordered it It would be beneficial for them to repeat the orders before leaving the table, clearly. Even though i work close by and this is a convenient location, I do not expect to be returning here anytime soon. I definitely agree with other reviewers that they do not get the little things right, which adds up to a not-great experience in the end.

Great lunch spot! Get the bento box(portions are pretty good sized) and a drink for under $ 15. Miso soup that comes with it is pretty tasty as well.

Terrible experience! I work around the corner and wanted a bento box lunch special. I ordered the veg tempura and an avocado cucumber roll… which I was told I would be charged $ 1.50MORE for. More money for NO fish? The manager was super rude and so was the server… so I walked out and will never be back. There is way too much good sushi and friendly service in this city to waste your time and money at Mikado.

Literally ran by a bunch of dumbasses. It took them a whole hour for them to realize the outer sunset is TOO far for delivery. And they wouldn’t have said anything until I called. The first time Someone said my food should be there soon. The second time a lady hung up on me. The third time the«manager» said we are both suffering a loss because they’re also wasting food. Horrible customer service, didn’t even offer a coupon of free something. Ty grub hub for at least compensating me even though it wasn’t their fault.

Horrible service, There food was alright, I give the food a rating of 5⁄10. My husband & I ordered delivery & the man came 2 hours later & had the nerve to ask for a tip. He has some nerve! Very rude man. & started cussing because we didn’t give him a tip.

This is a business that can’t get the little things right. You get a udon to-go, and they put it in the same type of container that they put their rice bowls in, which means it’s completely leaky. They don’t give you a warning about this. They at least put it in a plastic bag, but they don’t even bother to tie the bag up. Is that really so hard? I’ve also had issues ordering from them via Eat24. I’ve had them cancel my order because they were closing early, and have had them delay my order because they claim to not be open yet(though my pickup time was supposed to be 30 minutes after they were supposed to be open). This has become an absolute last-resort type of place, when I really can’t think of anything else to eat…

I work near here and come here for lunch once a week or so. I don’t order raw here but they have good cooked options, had a delicious pork donburi. Service is prompt and no frills, which is just fine for a quick lunch during the work day.

We came here for lunch and I got a bento box(2 items for $ 10 or 3 items for $ 12, which I think is a good deal)! food was good, the tempura was abit no flavor, even dipping in the tempura sauce, didn’t make a different(wouldn’t order this item next time), Spicy tuna roll was very good, I enjoyed it, and Spicy garlic chicken was also good! The batter for the chicken was crunchy, and the sauce was perfect for my tasting. It also comes with Miso Soup & Salad, was were also good. My partner got Sashimi and a hand roll, which he really enjoyed, and said the fish was fresh. My partner’s sister ordered two special roll, and it didn’t look like the picture(the picture had ugani, while her roll didnt, again she ordered from the lunch menu, probably that’s why) and said she didn’t enjoy it. Its a nice place to get lunch. Cheaper than I love Terayaki in the Potrero plaza. We would come here again for lunch.

The Sake Salmon Entrée’s texture was very nice, and was very fresh. The chicken teriyaki was good as well, although you might want to ask for more sauce.

Meh Japanese place. The starter salad had some kind of dressing that definitely isn’t Japanese. More like one of those off brand dressings you buy at Safeway for the company picnic that is charitably called«Creamy.» Oyaku Don wasn’t great, I don’t feel great a few hours after eating it. Might have been the egg, but the chicken was pretty gamy. I would describe it as more connective tissue than protein. I’m sure something a bit more traditional Japanese would be better here(Bento Box, Sushi). My advice is this isn’t the place to stray from the tried and true favorites. Would have been a 3-star, if not for the upset stomach.

I’m so glad my introduced me to Mikado this Friday. I had the bento box dinner for 12 $ for two items. 1-Barbecue chicken and a bowl of white rice, small garden salad, 6 delicious pieces of California Rolls. I’d definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Stumbled upon this place as the BF and I were walking back to the 16th St Mission Station for BART. I ordered the Chirashi and the bf got the Sushi Dinner. The prices were reasonable: under $ 15 and the food was not bad. The service was great and everyone was real friendly. We got seated right away on a Sunday night as walk-ins, so that’s a plus. I’d come back here if I happen to be on this part of town again.
