I’m Lana Leykin, owner of Miracle Events. My job is to listen carefully to your dream, your wants and desires. And then to plan, coordinate, and stage your wedding or party so that it’s a glowing, memorable success. It’s your party to enjoy while I work magically behind the scenes to make it all happen.

With over ten years of wedding and special event planning experience, I’ve worked with hundreds of vendors and can recommend several – dozens even – in every category, from catering to cakes. Always keeping your budget in mind, I’ll (surprise!) recommend vendors who fit within your budget.

My goal is simple: To provide you the absolute best event possible, with the least amount of stress for you. My heart’s desire is that you have a wonderful event that you will remember fondly for years to come.

History

Established in 2007.

I am not a pusher; my goal is not sell you anything. The only thing that I want to see is a happy customer who gets exactly the event that they dreamed about within the budget they planned.

I cannot say enough about Lana and team at Miracle Events. They were our day of coordinators for our wedding in May 2013. Lana went above and beyond and was there for my husband and I at every step along the way. There were to-​do lists to help us plan, coordination sheets to make sure they had all the details they needed for the day of and multiple planning sessions in order to make sure Lana and the Miracle Event Staff knew every detail for our big day.
For the rehearsal and wedding day Lana and team kept my husband and I on task and on target for the wedding of our dreams. They set up all our décor beautifully and made sure every part was in their place.
I highly recommend Miracle Events for your wedding. They came to me highly recommended by a good friend and I highly recommend them to anyone who is getting married that I meet.

We were in the unenviable position of trying to plan a wedding in tight timeframe, however by a sheer stroke of luck, Svetlana came to our rescue. Thanks to Svetlana, our wedding planning ended up being a positive, relatively stress-​free process that led to a big, badass, perfect wedding day.
The first thing she told me when we started working together was, «I treat every wedding as if it were my own.» And she meant it.
Every vendor recommendation Svetlana had was not just good, but amazing. She was proactive, positive, encouraging and felt like family every step of the way.
She knows the process of event planning inside and out. That includes timelines, communicating with vendors, what goes under the chuppah, the fact that cakes need decorating. She will take your side and ensures diplomatic and favorable resolution of any situation that may arise, which includes contracts and negotiation.
I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding a success.

I hired Lana Leykin as my wedding planner in February 2012. My husband and I had a Jewish wedding with around 200 guests at a local Marriott. Lana knew all of the intricacies involved with planning the wedding and completed every detail of both organizing and orchestrating one of the best days of my life! My husband and I both feel strongly that we could never have had the wedding that we had without Miracle Events and Lana Leykin. There are just so many details. Lana Leykin did an awesome job on our wedding! We contacted her less than 2 months before our event, and within that short time she got us on track with all of our preparations, and made sure all of our vendors were on the same page as well. She went above and beyond her role as our day-​off coordinator. Lana met with us numerous times before our wedding day and was always very organized and helpful. We couldn’t have done it without her! Svetlana did a wonderful job as our wedding coordinator and hiring her was probably one of the best decisions we made! We met with Svetlana throughout our wedding process and she gave us great ideas, worked with us on our timeline and made sure we had everything covered. I hadn’t been to many weddings before I planned my own and didn’t really know about all the little details but Svetlana helped us figure out exactly what we needed and recommended some great vendors as well. On the day of the wedding we hit some hurdles with our venue but none of us even knew about it because by the time we got there, everything was taken care of and set up just like we wanted it. Our wedding day was wonderful and we were able to fully enjoy it without worrying about anything. Svetlana is super friendly, warm, easy to talk to, reliable and always there to answer any questions. We really enjoyed working with her.

It feels almost silly adding another five star review to the trail already below, but Svetlana really deserves it. She came in and whipped my wedding into shape, met with my vendors, recommended trusted vendors who provided discounts, did the venue walk-​through with me weeks before the wedding, answered countless emails, ran the rehearsal, wrote the wedding day schedule, took care of last minute fires, managed all of my guests and vendors on the day of and even ordered breakfast for us to make sure we didn’t forget to eat. She took away all the stress on the day of the wedding and made me feel a lot more safe and comfortable during the supremely stressful few weeks beforehand. I can’t imagine the craziness which would have been my wedding day without her.

what would i have done without miracle events for my wedding? i so wish i could give these guys more than 5 stars, and let me tell you why:
I could go on and on about how good Lana and Dima are at what they do, but what I will take away form the experience of working with them is the incredible heart and passion they have for this work. I genuinely feel like I became close with these people in only one week. Lana’s son Dima is amazing at this stuff. I totally trusted him to take charge of the day. He also has an incredible eye, styling various décor pieces here and there the day before the wedding. Dima’s assistant Anna is a total doll and was such a joy to be around during the rehearsal and during the actual wedding.
Long story short, I am kicking myself for not hiring Lana at the beginning of my wedding planning process. I am so lucky that i got to work with her team at such short notice. I honestly have no idea if my wedding would have even been able to get off the ground without these guys. I had a really complex wedding day with a lot of unusual elements, and they handled everything with grace and professionalism.

I’m way overdue with this review… have now been married for 9 months. Lana is incredible! She was so helpful to us in preparing for our big day! Always easily available and helped us make our day perfect. We opted for an outdoor ceremony in May… and then saw the forecast — RAIN! When does it ever rain in the beginning of May in San Francisco?!? She helped us come up with a Plan B scenario (which luckly we didn’t have to use) — the sky cleared up and everything went smoothly. She also helped «put out a fire» during the ceremony — the projector wasn’t working so we couldn’t show our video to the guests. so she arranged for someone to drive to the city (our wedding was on Treasure Island) and get another projector! The guests had no idea and the video was a hit! Lana is absolutely the best! We couldn’t do it without her!

Svetlana was incredible. She is exactly what you need when planning a wedding. I don’t know what I would have done without her.
1. She is very organized.
2. She is always available, at any time of the day or night, by phone, by email or to meet.
3. She always has an advice based on experience, but she never pushes her opinion.
4. She will keep it within a budget.
5. She is supportive but never overbearing.
6. She knows many vendors and is a great resource.
7. On the day of the wedding she will make sure everything runs smoothly and will not bother you and will let you enjoy the day.
8. She will work with you, with the groom, with the mother of the bride, mother of the groom or whoever else you include in your wedding planning.
9. She is very easy to work with.
10. You will not find anyone better, warmer or who puts more soul into your wedding than Svetlana (Lana).

Words cannot describe how satisfied and pleased I am with the services provided by Lana! I hired her for our wedding in March and I have to say that this was one of the smartest decisions I made while wedding planning. I also must be honest and say that it was not an easy decision for me to make. I planned a lot of our wedding myself and was extremely afraid of trusting someone else to make sure that it all comes together and goes well on the wedding day. But let me tell you that once I met Lana during our initial consultation, I trusted her with EVERYTHING! She has a charming personality and makes you feel like you are talking to a friend and not a vendor for your wedding. She listened to each and every one of my plans and gave excellent ideas that I added to mine. She is extremely organized and takes detailed notes in every meeting and immediately follows up. She is very knowledge in the entire wedding industry and knows all the latest trends. She has an answer to every question (you can call or email her, and get a quick response). And, she also answered yes (with a smile) to any request that I had for her to do on our wedding day.
Within a week of the wedding, she contacted all of our vendors and went over our Day of Wedding timeline and made sure that everyone knew when they had to arrive. She also facilitated our ceremony rehearsal and our entire bridal party was amazed by her skills and her ability to remember each one of their names! On the day of the wedding, Lana did an AMAZING job and made sure that our day was «Picture Perfect». Thanks to Lana, my husband, our moms, and I were able to enjoy every moment of the wedding and NOT WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING AT ALL. I highly recommend Lana; she is PRICELESS!

Svetlana, aka Lana, is a pro. She was the venue coordinator for our wedding. She has done this a million times, weddings but all other sorts of events too. She was a great resource to us because she knew how to make our plans work on the location. She also happens to be a very nice person, which makes dealing with her a pleasant experience. We recommend her warmly.
