Hired this business after a bad experience with Golden State Janitorial out of SF ran by a unprofessional fraud named Mary Gray. Having such a bad experience was hesitant on trying another but Roxanna who runs Miranda’s Janitorial came to me with great respect and professionalism and I will definitely repeat and recommend her service. A++ bravo Roxanna and your a wonderful team my office never looked so great.

Roxana and her crew have cleaned my business location for years and I am always happy with coming into work and feeling the deep level of clean that they leave behind. She is attentive to any detail that I bring up, including where things go when I have not put them away properly.
She has also cleaned our house on and off for years. She is amazing before and after parties, as well as any Spring Cleaning or special project needs. She is easy to talk to and truly works to make you feel that all your needs have been addressed.

Roxanna and her team did a very deep cleaning of my house after extensive repairs and I couldn’t be happier. The caring given by her team to make every room, every appliance and every nook and cranny gleam was well worth the cost. Roxanna is responsive and a pleasure to work with and the house sparkled. Top marks all around.

I had a tenant move out of my rental property in San Francisco. I arrived to check the condition of the property and, oh my!!! was I in for a surprise… Dirty, Trash and garbages left behind… Kitchen totally filthy… I looked around for services, and found Mirandas Janitorial Services reviews on Unilocal very promising.
I called late afternoon and got a call back in the evening the same day, to set a tour the day after. She showed up early (she called me in advance to ask me if it was OK), gave me a decent quote considering the condition of the house, and had a crew show up 2 hours later. They worked about 8 hours on the house so dirty it was, and rarely took a break.
Some minor details needed some attention (what would you expect after working 8 hours like that?) and Roxanna offered to come back to get them fixed. I was totally OK with it.
As planned, she came back with her crew to finish up the job.
Roxanna is very pleasant, and her helpers are hard workers. I will definitely keep her in my contacts for any future jobs.

Another cleaner who shows up for a few months but then bails on appointments with no answer. I haven’t heard back since 2014 started, so maybe they just moved to Mars? Five thumbs down for Marsranda.

Roxanna and her helpers are fabulous. They have helped me out several times over the last year cleaning my place and helping me out with the occasional AirBnB guest. They always leave the place spotless and even clean the linens and towels. Once they even went to Target and got me a nice bedding set to replace one that was getting a little ratty! I recommend her to all my friends and now i’m recommending her to all the Unilocalers too!

I hired Roxana and her crew to do a deep clean of a rental unit. After going through reviews here, I decided they sounded like the best value.
The rental is 3 floors, 2200 sq. ft. and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months. Roxana and her crew did a wonderful job. I had 5 different cleaning services walk through the space and had been quoted over 3x the $ 400 I paid Roxana. I understand that it would have been a different service to pay over $ 1000, but we were very happy with the results. I know what clean is and am not afraid to get my hands dirty.
We gave them the highest compliment possible, which was switching to them for our home’s biweekly service.

Simply said, Roxana and her team rock! She first saved me on a Sunday after a fabulous and chaos-​producing NYE party and has been a savior ever since. She is responsive, flexible with scheduling, a perfectionist on the cleaning front and reasonably priced. Over and above, some of the hard-​earned cleaning fees go towards a cause near and dear to Roxana’s heart — shelter for immigrant women in need. I recommend her services highly.

Miranda’s janitorial service has been a great find for me. The gals that clean are really sweet and respectful and I trust them in my home on their own. They clean for me once a week and Roxana’s rates are pretty fair. If you are looking for weekly house cleaning, you can trust Miranda’s to do a good job.

roxanna is the best thing ive done for myself. she hits all the necessary spots in my home, and always uses her time to find something extra to do. she is very generous and has become a necessity in my home. i recently learned that she employs and gives opportunities to marginalized women, advocating for non english speaking ladies overcoming domestic violence. i applaud roxanna and her crew. from the window sills to the little corners on the ceilings, to power washing my front steps to make them shine, i love the work she does. — just ask my staff, it takes a lot to get a compliment out of me.

Tuesdays are my favorite day of the week: I come home from work to a spotless house. The air is clean, the windows sparkle, the floor is free from pet hair, and the bed is made for the first time in days. Roxana has been here, and all is right with the world.
I have been meaning to write a review for about a year now about how happy I am with Roxana Miranda and her team. Today when I came home, I was almost moved to tears by how good my house felt, that I decided today was the day to write a review.
Roxana is a lovely, hardworking, honest professional. She is thoughtful and intuitive in her work. Not only does she clean my house thoroughly, she does it with love and a positive attitude. She is a very giving person. After many different cleaning people, I’m so happy to have found Roxana, and I feel very comfortable with her. I have recommended her to many of my friends and family. My brother would be lost without her.
I highly recommend Roxana’s cleaning service, Miranda’s Janitorial. She has been a delight to work with these past 2 years. I feel very lucky to have come across her, and I hope other people will have the chance to experience the benefits of having Roxana clean their home.

I almost never write negative Unilocal reviews (if you don’t have anything nice to say…), but my experience was so different from that of most other reviewers that I felt I should share.
Overall, the lack of thoroughness in the cleaning was very disappointing. After Roxana’s visit there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings. Needles from our recently removed Christmas tree were still scattered on the living room floor. The walls around the bathtub/​shower had not been scrubbed even slightly. Kitchen appliances which had been spotlessly shiny before Roxana’s visit were streaked and tarnished after her visit. And so on.
Most disappointing, however, was the fact that she spilled oven cleaner on our hardwood floors, which ate through the finish, and damaged the wood. This is essentially not fixable, since getting the new finish to match the old is not really possible. In order to match, the entire room would need to be sanded and refinished. This clearly would not have been worth it even if she had gotten the oven clean, which she didn’t.
One last point seems worth mentioning. Before her first visit, we gave Roxana our house keys so that she could let herself in (she’s bonded and insured, and yeah, we’re trusting like that — anyway, how could we go wrong with all these five star reviews?). After four weeks, and repeated emails, Roxana had still not returned our keys, and we were forced to change our locks.
I would suggest looking elsewhere for house cleaning services.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I felt I owed it to Unilocalers to review this as my experience was starkly different from those described in the other positive reviews.
First of all, Roxanne, the owner, rescheduled with me the day before they were supposed to come. Then when they arrived she assessed the situation, quoted me a price higher that I have ever paid for a space this size and then left to pick up two other women to help. I had explained to Roxanne everything I wanted done, basic stuff — dusting (I am allergic and asked that they pay special attention to dusting), mopping the wood floors, cleaning the oven, cleaning the kitchen, wiping the fridge shelves. There was no deep cleaning to do as I had just moved into the clean house the month prior. When they returned, Roxanne only stayed for a little while and complained about not liking to do dishes as she was doing the few dishes that were in the sink. Then she left the other two women, who did not speak English, to complete the work — I don’t think she told them anything about my specifications as so much of it was not done. They ‘finished’ and waited outside on my doorstep talking loudly to each other for well over an hour before Roxanne came back to get them. Before they left I noticed dust bunnies and debris under the furniture in the living room, I couldn’t tell if they had mopped at all, there was visible debris left in corners. The oven was not cleaned at all. There was dust on multiple surfaces that looked like they hadn’t been touched. The fridge was not cleaned at all. They did clean the kitchen nicely (besides the oven and fridge) and made the bed.
I only noticed the floors and dust before the girls were picked up so I pointed it out to Roxanne who proceeded to hastily try to clean the missed spots on her own before they left, once she realized how dirty it was left, she started apologizing profusely, and blaming it on one of the girls.
After they left I continued to notice missed spots, and things left untouched that I had specifically asked to be cleaned.
I don’t know what they were doing the whole time they were cleaning as it took a while and I could have done a better job with less time. The fact that they sat on my stoop for so long when there was still so much cleaning to do was very disappointing.
Awful cleaning service, not thorough at all, so frustrating!

I’m almost hesitant to share this amazing diamond in the rough. Like many others I’ve had countless calls to various companies, and none ever come through.
And then I stumbled across Mirandas Janitorial Services. Could all these 5 star reviews be real? No way, must be friends or something.
Nope. They are wonderful. Every conversation has been professional, timely, and after just doing a deep clean of my home, I realized how badly we needed their help.
Best cleaning services company I’ve ever used. Can’t recommend enough.

Roxanna was very professional! I inquired about her services for a move-​out cleaning, and she not only promptly responded to my (multiple) phone calls, but she actually came out to my place to provide an accurate estimate, one week prior to our move. She and her team scoured our Apt. and it looks amazing! She even accommodated very specific cleaning requests without increasing her rates. I would highly recommend her services.

My partner and I found called Miranda’s after several failed attempts at calling other cleaning companies who did not clean on Saturdays. Roxanna promptly called back and let us know she and her team were able to clean our apartment with one day’s notice. They did such a fantastic job! She was able to give us an estimate right before and she and her team cleaned everything. We’ve never seen our apartment so clean!
Roxanna also called after they left to make sure we were happy with the job they did. We really appreciated the professionalism and sincerity they had to offer. We know who we are calling when we need our place cleaned again. If I could give Miranda’s more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

I searched Unilocal for several house cleaning services to clean our home after our last tenants had left. Roxana returned my call promptly and was the only one of 4 highly rated services who returned my calls. No one else has yet to call me back.
After a quick walk through and estimate, we scheduled her to come by that same week. She and her team were prompt, took direction well, and cleaned our 2 story home from top to bottom. I came back to a spotless house with even the entryway and garage cleaned! The floors, walls, and ceilings were cleaned. The house looks brand new and fantastic as if the tenants had never been there.
I’d call her for any type of cleaning again. Her team is terrific and very reasonable for the deep cleaning they did. Thanks!

I hired Roxana Miranda and her team to clean my home a few months ago (to come every two weeks). She has been a godsend. Roxana and her crew are timely, efficient and do a wonderful job. She has to clean up after two people and two shedding dogs. It is so nice to come home after she had been there cleaning that morning. This is an addiction I can handle for a long time. I highly recommend her.

Roxana as been a life saver. She allows me to run my household more effeciently and allow me to do what I do. It’s great coming home to an immaculate home, everything cleaned from top to bottom. She is just excellent and a trustworthy person, she comes in when I am out and I come back to a stellar house.
