History
Established in 1976.
San Francisco Preventive Medical Group started more than 30 years ago to be the first integrative medical clinic in San Francisco.
With Drs. Paul Lynn, Mischa Grieder and Jennifer Mann forming the core of this clinic, SFPMG has always been true to its mission in successfully treating thousands of patients from all over the world by focusing on the patient as a whole, and addressing the cause of the disease rather than simply suppressing the symptoms.

Born and raised in a large and lively family on an organic farm near Zurich, Switzerland, Dr. Grieder was early on exposed to natural medicine and a holistic lifestyle. His philosophy of life was expanded by a Waldorf — School education and an open door policy at home where friends of diverse professional and spiritual backgrounds enriched the vivid dinner conversations.
In 1996 Dr. Grieder moved to New York City, later to Santa Fe, NM and then to Seattle to complete his medical training. He moved to San Francisco in 2007, and travels to Switzerland twice a year to continue exploring medical developments in Europe, as well as staying connected with his family.
