A really good place in my opinion. My cat spilled water on my phone while I was asleep and my screen was completely dead. But they were really helpful and got my screen fixed in 30 mins. Fast and friendly service !

I desperately needed my iPhone 6 Plus screen repaired. I came in and was out within 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and the service was quick that’s all I could ask for. Thanks kangaroo!

I pulled the old «drop your phone in the toilet trick» which we all know & love so well. I had it in Ted’s shop w/​in 15 minutes of the incident. He explained, very clearly, their pricing & procedures & advised me of any potential costs so that there would be no surprises come pick-​up time. Later, I realized that my insurance would cover the plunge, but that I had to go through the carrier’s process which didn’t involve repair work through Kangaroo. I emailed the shop on Sunday while they were closed to ask if they could stop repairs if I hadn’t already incurred any fees. Ted emailed me back (on his day off) to say that he would reassemble my phone & that I could pick it up the next day at no charge. This was huge for me as I am a full-​time student living on loans. It was refreshing to find a business willing to put people before profits. I recommend doing business w/​these folks for these reasons. Until then, stay cool & keep your phone out of the toilet.

Just a few days before leaving to San Francisco I dropped my phone and broke the screen. I had ordered the screen and since I have Prime (amazon), got it just before leaving. I went to this Mobile Kangaroo to try to get the screen replaced but this place was kind of awful. When we got there the guy was in the back and yelled for us to a wait a little bit, and we did. He came out and I told him what I needed, but he said he did not have the screen, I told him I had one with me that he could use. He then quoted me $ 89 (using my screen), but then all of a sudden decided he couldn’t do it. He didn’t do as much as checking out the phone to see what needed to be done. I wasn’t happy and… what exactly are you doing there if not fixing phones? whatever, I don’t live in San Francisco, I will never need this place’s services again.

Really fast, price competitive, and they stand by their work. We had trouble with a oneplus, which most places don’t even work in. Charles did a screen replacement, then a follow-​up when the oneplus part failed. Great guy!

Very cool dude, fixed my phone for a fair price and fast. Seems to really know his stuff when it comes to fixing mobile electronics and computers.

Accidentally broke my iphone 4 screen over the weekend. Emailed Ted at Kangaroo who told me to bring it in and Charles would take care of it. After a longer than anticipated day at work I arrived at Kangaroo about 6:20pm. Charles was already working on another device but told me he’d work on mine right after and get it done same day. He stayed a bit after closing to get it done. Quick, good repair. Highly recommend Kangaroo!

Charles was the man! He spent a lot of time opening up my phone and checking out to see what was wrong, and since he couldn’t completely fix it, it was no charge! Very helpful!

well, to revise my review. I got a very nice letter from the director of Mobile Kangaroo who explained some of what happened in my experience at their shop. He also offered to credit me some of my money and in general was very apologetic. I am revising my review somewhat, although being the computer illiterate that I am, I did have to take it to another just to load some things onto it and make it workable for me.

My Nexus 5 phone screen cracked that needed to be replaced. I brought the phone into the store on Tuesday and the guy who was working there said that he can replace the screen within the hour. I get a call 15 minutes later saying that the screen they had in store is not working and that they currently have 2 screens on the way, expected to arrive that Friday. He even let me borrow a cable to connect to my mouse so I can use the phone while I’m waiting for the part. I placed a deposit on the phone part that I needed.
The part came in a day early on Thursday. I came in on Friday and had my phone screen fixed in under 20 minutes. It looked brand as new and everything was working in just 4 days! The guy even explained what part he was using and why the phone screen wasn’t working. The staff were quick, professional and friendly. If your looking to have you phone fixed as soon as possible for a good price with great customer service, I would definitely recommend Mobile Kangaroo.

Its comforting to see people take pride in their craft/​trade. Charles from Mobile Kangaroo is a shining example of someone who has both competency and standards. I had a cracked screen on my LG G3 and he was very thorough in his description of what he would do. He charged me the cost for the part which he bought online while I was there so I could see, and told me the date range and time expected for the repair.
Most other stores would leave it at that, but Charles gave me 2 options for interim phone use, a loaner phone or a cable that I could connect a mouse to and use my phone despite its cracked screen. He didnt have to offer these but he did out of customer service. I opted for the cable. Once the part came in he was very prompt in getting to the repair all the while talking me through some expected difficulties he may encounter and what he would do to avoid them.
This store upheld a high level of standards and ethics, I saw them turn away work for a phone that was stolen/​lost, which is assuring. Any other customers he was upfront with for cost and efficiency, even telling customers to take it to the Apple store since his services would cost more/​wouldnt be worth the risk of repair.
Charles seemed incredibly knowledgable of not only mobile devices, but of the industry (He managed Verizon stores in the past) He knew what insurance companies the providers work with, and their policies on broken devices.
His costs were fair, and there were not any surprises. If your phone has issues and the Verizons/AT&T/Tmobiles of the world arent very helpful (they rarely are) take your phone to Mobile Kangaroo and let them take a look.

Great customer service.
I called around to a few outfits in town to gauge prices and hours. The going rate for a camera glass replacement on a Samsung S5 was around $ 50. Hours seemed to hover around 6−7pm close time. The repair individual at Mobile Kangaroo — perhaps named Charles? — explained what needed to be done and how long it would take.
Once there, it’s a very small shop on a somewhat dicey stretch of the Tendernob at night. He has a family but was willing to stay a few minutes past 7pm to complete the fix. I even asked him some advice on my next new phone purchase.
He offered to repair the glass if the work turned out to be shoddy. There’s something about this business that I just inherently trust. Use the Unilocal discount. Highly recommended!

I have meant to write a review for this place for a while. Charles, in particular, has been super helpful on numerous occasions. I once came in with a broken Lumia screen, freshly booted off of my phone’s insurance because of the habitual screen breaking, and a long way from an upgrade. Charles let me know that this screen repair cost more than the phone on eBay, and that I should consider replacing the whole thing. After thinking about it, I decided to go ahead and get the phone fixed. He even took pity on my wretched self when I explained he couldn’t reach me when the phone was fixed, because my computer had recently broke too, and he let me borrow his own broken (and totaled, like mine) Lumia. Soooooo awesome. The repairs were super quick once the part showed up. Phone works great. I will continue to return for my electronic emergencies, fo sho.

Not everyone in SF can fix, or for that matter, has ever even seen a Windows phone. Charles had worked on them many times and knew exactly what parts were needed (t was not the screen) Once the ordered part arrived the phone was fixed immediately (with original parts). .
Customer service was top notch, and their pricing very fair. I do (and will) recommend Mobile Kangaroo to anyone needing any mobile device fixed.

Up front and helpful. Went above and beyond to make sure repairs were done perfectly and on time. Were direct about what repairs were needed to be done and showed me beforehand. Very happy.

After I cracked my iphone screen, I can here to get it fixed upon recommendation from a friend. Charles was super knowledgable and friendly, and he fixed my phone up as good as new, that very the same day. He even played me some great music while I waited!
UPDATE ON ¹⁄₁₉: I started having some issues with the screen after a few days, so I called Charles. He knew exactly what the problem was and said he was happy to look at it that same night. It took a few attempts for him to fix the screen, but he kept going until it was perfect. Now that’s customer service! Thank you Charles, you are my hero.

Es un Buen lugar para reparar el cel, aunque hubo una confusion, me habian dicho que el cel estaba para el martes y cuando llame me decian que para el jueves! Me acerque a la tienda y me lo arreglaron ese mismo dia en una hora! Aunque Taylor estaba un poco alterado no se porque! Pero en general es una buena tienda para reparar el cel! I have been using MOBILE KANGAROO for the past 6 months. I had stellar assistance from CALVIN and then TED and now they have a super kid from France in there that is equally tech smart, user friendly and up front with stellar customer service.
I highly recommend these guys. If they can’t fix it, they know how to call to get it done at a good price.

Rough street of D.C. broke my brand new iphone. I was so desperately to fix it. I found Mobile Kangaroo on Unilocal and tried it out.
AT the end of the day, the guy couldn’t fix it but the whole reason that I gave them 4 stars because they were honest right up front that it would take some time (a whole week to be exact) and I could tell that they tried to fix it many times in the process, kept changing the parts to try to make the phone work).
So i appreciate their honestly and helps.
P. S. I ended up buy the new phone…

The reason Why 5stars is because I didn’t know that my girl friend shatters my iphone screen glass when she dropped it in a tennis court floor. I found the receipt for this location about a week ago and she got my iphone fixed within the same day and I never new about it.
She payed a good price becuase she used the Unilocal coupon, but then I confronted her and she said sorry. So basically they did an excellent job in repairing my iphone cracked screen because I would have never known if I have hadn’t found that receipt.
