Mr Ecowash

I bought a Groupon for this place but was never able to make a reservation. I called several times to make a reservation, no answer. I finally called Groupon to complain. Groupon contacted the business and said the business would contact me within 3 days, they never called. I complained again to Groupon and was told the same thing, that the business would contact me to schedule a reservation, they never contacted me. Groupon finally refunded me.

These guys detailed my car a few months ago. They removed two years worth of dog fur, without a trace. I’ve been back for several washes since then. They are great and they are fast.

After 5 years and three kids, my minivan had more than its share of dirt caked on, in and out. My kids are pretty rough on car interiors! Jose and his crew just made my car look the same as when I bought it. I paid for the full interior/​exterior detail and got my money’s worth and then some. They really paid attention to detail– cleaned out all the small compartments inside, made the rims look better than ever, and even buffed out some house paint on the bumper (from my garage door– don’t ask…). I am pretty picky about how my car gets waxed; I looked over the car when I picked it up but not a single swirl mark. I’ll be back!

No respect for customers here. It’s one thing if your hours aren’t properly listed on Unilocal.It’s another if you accept a reservation time but then aren’t open when the customer shows up for it.
Following the instructions on the website, on a Saturday I made a reservation for the following afternoon. The site confirmed my reservation, but when I showed up (exactly on time) the business was closed, and looked like it had been all day. Very frustrating and a waste of an hour!
Moral of the story: don’t trust their website, reservation system, or their listed hours.

Great job cleaning the interior, but the exterior was done poorly. Cleaner than when I brought it in, but lots of marks left all over the vehicle. In addition to this, I now have swirls in my paint. I read the reviews ahead of time addressing this and brought to his attention. He reassured me that people who had swirls on their cars had it previously from other places. I should have listened! The owner let me know that he can’t use a new sponge cleaner on every wash (unless I have a 300K vehicle) be cautious when deciding to bring a new vehicle here.

Overall, my premium ($ 30) car wash was mediocre. The inside of my car was not very clean while the outside had many areas which hadn’t been wiped down, including a window. The wash advertises themselves as eco-​friendly by not using water, so when I asked the manager how they did it he replied that his boss didn’t want him to tell people. After watching them work on another customer’s car while I paid, I saw the worker simply spraying a cleaning solution (something like a 409 or other all purpose cleaner) onto the dirty cars and wiping it away with a towel. Not only is this really just not an efficient way to clean a car, but spraying a solution like that directly onto a car can ruin the paint. It would honestly just be better to go to the self-​serve wash, basically next door, and save yourself some money.

These people or owner of that location have no respect to the neighborhood. Blasting music 3am in the morning. Are you serious? I don’t care if you are trying to be eco green or getting business in the neighborhood. But seriously freaking 3 AM! AM! 3AM! Wtf. AM! There is no business at 3AM. People trying to sleep here, show some respect. I will not support this neighborhood business for sure. I am making sure no one should. Horrible sense of judgement, rude behavior, and no respect. If they treat neighbors like this. Who knows! They might treat your car like shit too. I am disappointed in them. Everyone I know will not support this business

Good value, they were quick and PRETTY thorough, but attention to detail was lacking. And SO MANY SWIRL MARKS!!! I made the mistake of bringing my sort-​of-​new car here and now it’s so swirly :(Hopefully I can fix that with some wax and a proper detailing job. I would be really hesitant to take any cars here for their higher tier detailing services based on the car wash I received.

Had my truck cleaned here. It was parked on a farm for a long time and I got the full detail. They did a great job! Now the truck looks like new. I’ll definitely be back!

These guys are awesome! Came by for an Express Wax and they did an amazing job! My M3 is looking gorgeous, and she’s got clean shoes! This is where most other car washes fail, they leave my rims still dirty but not Mr Ecowash! These guys pay attention to details and are fast! No tracks to scrape your precious and expensive rims, which is exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t notice any chemical smells from their cleaners which is great.
Great job guys I will definitely be back and keep up the good work!

Previously located on Cesar Chavez St, this new location is located in a more industrial area and offers the same services for the same price. What I like about this place is that it is less busy compared to the Mission. Their office now has a small waiting area for you while your car is getting washed/​detailed.
If you are don’t like the idea of paying for a car wash, down the block, there is a self-​car wash with vacuuming which will probably only cost you a couple cents. But if you are lazy like me, hey, why not?! Down the block, across the street, there is a café called «Happy Donuts» and while you wait for your car, you can grab a quick snack! Next to them is a Grocery Outlet.
I only come here for their «Premium Wash» ($ 29) and they always do a good job. The employees are friendly as well. The premium wash includes washing the exterior and cleaning the inside as well with a full vacuum, interior windows, cleaning door jams, under seat cleaning, wipe of the dash and console, and interior doors and panels. If you check in on Unilocal,you get a free spray wax as well, but I think the guy said they throw it in anyways, which is awesome!
I recommend coming here for car washes for when you feel lazy!

I have a Groupon that I am trying to redeem but no one answers the phone — no one is at the location — and their website seems to be down. Have they gone out of business?

I’ve been here several times to get my car washed and waxed and they’ve always done a really thorough job. $ 50 for the premium vacuum, wash, and hand wax or $ 40 for the spray wax. They let you drop off your car and leave it there so I end up walking around the Mission. You can think of it as free parking! Also, check in for a free spray wax!
The only reason I knocked off one star is that they never call you after your car is done even if you ask them too. Customer service isn’t their priority but they do such a nice job, I don’t really care. I normally come back after an hour or so and my car has always been done.

Best wash in SF in the mission district if you ask me. I’ve tried other places in the area multiple times but they suck and I find this one the best so far. I will use them every time I am in dire need of a wash. It’s cheap and they do a good job. I always get a wax job and a wash. Paid around $ 40 but it was worth it. Service is good too. Make sure you tip well

This place truly deserves a one star; from the lack of customer service, lack of attention to detail, and understaff. I paid $ 59 car wash, waited an 1:47mins and they forgot to vacuum my back seats.
So this place has gone downhill ever since it started new management. I come here once every two weeks for the past year. This maybe my last time coming here. I was previously happy I got my car clean here but until new management took over, based on my observation the workers don’t look happy and the don’t take pride in what they do now.

I just purchased their most expensive on-​menu product: an interior/​exterior detail for $ 200 and I am underwhelmed.
Positive Side: nothing was damaged, they washed the car well and waxed it. Carpet /​mat shampooing was well done. They were friendly and got me in without an appt.
Negative Side: I’ve had cars detailed at similar price points before and can say it simply was not clean enough to be called «detailed». This was a $ 50 car wash at best. Not only that, but I left my car for 8 hours and it still wasn’t done when I got there. I pointed out a number of things to be corrected, and they happily did. Things like pieces of tree still stuck in the cowl, and spots and stains and crumbs that were still there. This was for a car that is under two years old and in good shape. I’m also dubious that they actually clay-​bared the paint as advertised — It still feels rough to the touch. Lastly, the leather was not very clean and was not treated — something I confirmed when I dropped it off.
Bottom Line: The detail service is a rip — stick with the wash/​wax.

Really pretty middle-​of-​the-​road. I think I prefer the Millbrae car wash by my gym, and I’ll stick with that. The car just didn’t look great when it was done, and it wasn’t particularly fast or particularly inexpensive. Just… okay…

I’ll never use this place again. Feel very ripped off.
Hadn’t washed my car for awhile because of the water crisis, read pretty good reviews here, some detailing how the company uses minimal water… think to myself Win Win right?

The guys are friendly… sure, it goes downhill from there.
The car was admittedly pretty dirty, not off-​road caked in mud dirty, it’s a street vehicle. The car was littered with various bird droppings, these being the number 1 (or #2… depends how you look at it (couldn’t resist)) issue, other than that, just run of the mill dirty.
Settled on the express wax ~$ 60+ tax.
When I came back to pick up my car, I was pretty pissed to find some bird poo still on my car, which the guy did wipe off when I brought it up… but still… really?
Inside was a little better, but I usually do better myself. Looked like the cloth they used couldn’t hold any more dust, ‘cos there was a thin layer all over the top of the dash. Carpets and seats looked good though.
Because I park my car under trees (hence the bird crap) there was, and unfortunately still is an abundant accumulation of leaves and small twigs around the base of my front windscreen. No bueno amigo! Talk about a half assed effort all round.
Not a good experience. Now, I’m off to finish cleaning my car.

Still a mess inside the car. Half ass job for $ 30. I can do a better job with a little more care to detail. Cautious of how they leave and DRIVE your car. They are careless with your vehicle and could damage the transmission with how badly they move the cars back and forth. Avoid this place if you want a good job done on your car maintenance needs. Better off taking your business somewhere else. These guys suck. Don’t settle on getting scammed for your money.

These guys are amazing! Completely hand washed, and they ensure that your car comes out looking flawless. Just sitting there every car looks like is coming straight off the lot. There is a delicious taco stand next door while you wait, or if not Mr. Eco also has a room with free wi-​fi so you can chill or get work done.
Plenty of pricing options, I’ve gone with the basic wash and spray wax, but since they did such a great job I want to take it up a notch and see how clean my car really can get.
Drive out of there and turn heads.
