Cancelled my account, and am feeling closer to whole than I have ever been.
Then Facebook and my humanity came flooding back.
Now if I could just shake this damn Unilocal.Oh wait, me like.

I’m on myspace and have not really connected to it. I don’t find it easy to use like Unilocal.My teenage daughter and her friends say «MySpace is yukky» and I sort of agree. They are all on FaceBook. I really haven’t spent enough time on MySpace to be certain. I do keep getting friend invites from people who’s profile has been removed. I’ve heard there is a lot of spam on MySpace

There once was a time that I preferred Myface over Spacebook…

Way too much spam on myspace. With facebook, I still get spam, but at least it is in the form of 1000’s of application requests from my friends who I know (think?) are REAL people and not bots.

At one time myspace you were my friend. You connected me to people who were already my friends but were to lazy to pick up the phone. You let me keep in touch with my old friends from home and you had interesting bulletins I enjoyed reading posted by people I was interested in seeing/​hanging out with.
These days however are different. I no longer care about worthless so called friends who never call or show up for dates. Your bulletin board is full of meaningless bullshit that even I bored at work on the computer for hours cant stomach. Your loud and abnoxious banners, flashing lights and suggested advertising stratigies have assalted my senses to many times.
You have become viral marketing at its worst.
Sold out and chaulk full of douchebags, spammers and internet whores our love affair has ended.
You were once my promotional dream, now you are a joke.
I wont miss you and your lies, but I will still come and look at you for music sometimes.

Myspace is great for keeping in touch. It’s a great time filler and lets your friends know that you’re alive and that they’re still alive. It’s good if you’re practicing your html skills or for networking.
I understand that the way its used now a days because of it’s popularity has caused it to be very commercialized. There’s advertisements galore and spam is «controlled» yet out of control. It’s crazy. Myspace is in songs and has affected people’s lives. Kinda funny how one website can have so much «power» if you let it. haha…
Remember kids curiosity killed the cat… use it for the genius concept it was created for… for keeping in touch with people that MATTER… who really cares about people that don’t.
