History

Established in 2013.

Chef Owner Jennifer Kenny Nguyen is a fifth generation Native San Franciscan and a passionate pastry chef with more than twelve years of pastry experience in San Francisco restaurants. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, and in 2007 was named a Rising Star Chef by the SF Chronicle. As the pastry chef at one Michelin-​starred restaurant Spruce, she realized that although she loved making high-​end desserts, what she really craved on her day off was a killer brownie. She started Native Baking in 2013, committed to making delicious, high quality and approachable desserts by hand and with care in her Native San Francisco.
