Excellent place! I was putting together a scavenger hunt for my girlfriend over the phone and they were very helpful and put together a beautiful arrangement for me. My girlfriend loved the flowers and I loved the service especially since I don’t even live in SF. Also really happy I went with Nob hill florist and not pro flowers the quality was superb. They went above and beyond!

Amazing customer service, and beautiful work to boot! I called at 9:05 a.m. on a Thursday for 4 corsages for a bridal luncheon that started at 12:00 p.m., Karah was on her way to the flower market and rush ordered them for me to be done at 11:30 a.m. Just when I thought she couldn’t be more amazing, her credit card machine was having issues, and I was in a huge rush — so she let me come back after the luncheon to pay her cash. Thank you Karah for being so awesome and having amazing an floral eye!
Also, there is a green zone out front so you can park and run in!

Karah handled an order from the east coast with professionalism and enthusiasm, delivering a special selection sent as a thank-​you to a commercial firm in downtown SF, which was received with very positive reactions. Great work all round.

We worked with Karah for a few pieces for our engagement party and had a great experience. She captured what my fiancée envisioned and the pieces exceeded her expectations (thanks Karah!); all on relatively short notice too. A bride I did makeup and hair for got her flowers from Nob Hill Florist, and they were amazing! We got her ready at the Mark Hopkins Hotel, to get married at City Hall. Nob Hill Florist was conveniently located close by so that the groom could go get the flowers while we were doing makeup and hair. The piece they supplied for the brides hair was ready stunning, and so easy to work with. And the bouquet was equally special. I would recommend the beautiful work they do to any of my clients. Came here to get a birthday arrangement for my girlfriend, she put together an incredibly beautiful arrangement with a day’s notice. The flowers I got definitely earned me some brownie points.
I support local small businesses like Karah’s whenever I can, because the quality of her work is a notch above competition. The arrangement looks personalized, as opposed to manufactured, which is what you would get with internet flower companies.
Pro tip: call in in advance to place your order, and set a pickup time. Karah is often out of her shop on delivery or sourcing fresh flowers!

I have used Nob Hill Florist for about 20 years now. I met Terry back in the early ‘90s and soon came to realize how talented he was. A couple of years ago he sold the business to Karah Schweizer, but he assured me that her designs were very similar to his. It wasn’t long before I became a huge fan of hers. Every year for my birthday, a friend sends me a big floral arrangement. I always anticipate its arrival wondering what it’s going to look like. I’ve never been disappointed. Karah is simply the best!
I call Karah for all of our get well, funeral, birth, etc. floral arrangements for work. Karah is very intuitive and always puts together a lovely arrangement appropriate for the occasion.

If I could give Nob Hill Florist more stars, I would. Karah is amazing! She did the flower arrangements for my wedding, rehearsal dinner, and engagement party, and they were all perfect.
I stumbled upon Nob Hill Florist looking for flowers to create a «practice bouquet» for my wedding to see what I would want in my arrangements, and Karah was so enthusiastic and great that we picked her as our wedding florist that day. She took my vision and totally brought it to life. She was very detail oriented and complimentary of my style, and I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into something that I didn’t want, and she was very flexible with the changes that we had to make (because of the way we were serving dinner, we had to change the number of arrangements at every table). I had her add a cake decoration that I saw from pinterest (of course) and she copied it to perfection.
If you are looking for a florist for any occasion, she is wonderful, and I recommend her completely for weddings… there is a reason this place is 4 stars!

Karah was referred by the hotel I was staying at in San Fran for my wedding (I live in LA). They spoke highly of her work so I thought I’d check her out. She was very helpful via email with all of my questions and was happy to receive all of my pictures. Being that I had never met her and was planning long distance, I was a little nervous about what I would actually get the day of. Well, I couldn’t have been happier! Karah at Nob HIll Florist is THE BEST!!! In the past 3 years, my husband has sent me arrangements from several different florists in downtown SF (where I work). All were beyond disappointing (died within a day, or arrived with droopy blooms) until now! I received the most beautiful arrangement on Monday of this week and it is even more amazing today (Friday)! My husband will only order from Nob Hill exclusively now… Hooray!!!

Karah superseded all my expectations on center pieces for my engagement party. After a quick phone call she narrowed down what I wanted from the limited information I gave her about about wanting lavender roses, as I was unsure of any other detail. When I saw the final product I was blown away by how beautiful the arrangement was. Better than anything I pictured. She worked in a professional, concise and timely fashion. I highly recommend her for any of your flower needs!

We came to San Francisco from Birmingham for our wedding at Grace Cathedral. We had no idea who we were going to use as a florist and Mary Wood at Grace Cathedral suggested we give Kara a call… she was incredible! We loved working with her and highly recommend her for any occasion! The flowers were outstanding! She even went over to the church to see where they would be placed and called back and offered to send us a photo of the altar which at that time we had not seen… she was truly a pleasure to deal with and will DEFINITELY use her again when we need flowers in San Francisco! Alright guys, never an easy task to buy flowers for a girl — Or at least is not one that I find easy. So finding a place with a florist that has a great sense of style/​taste is important when you’re trying to make an impression and I can tell you that Karah is AWESOME! Myself and several other friends have used her services and I have seen several of her creations — (I say creations because they are far more than flower arrangements) and they have all been amazing. She takes your input and then adds her flair and creativity for the prefect impact. Oh, and did I mention that she personally delivered them???

Like most guys, I waited until the 11^th hour to get an arrangement for a date. I called Karah and she informed me that while low on stock because of the late hour in the day (30 min until close!) she would put something fabulous together for me. I was not disappointed and neither was my date for that matter. Karah and Nob Hill Florist will definitely see return business from me!!! The shop is actually open until 5−6PM on most nights too!

San Francisco brides-​CALL TERRY! As an out of town bride from Sacramento, I utilized Unilocal!a TON while coordinating my wedding at San Francisco City Hall for 9÷21÷12. After doing some research, and even perusing the business pages of wedding vendor facebook ‘friends’ from the SF area, (I’m also in the wedding industry) I happened upon Nob Hill Florist in my search, and I am SO glad I did. From my first phone call until the time my bouquet arrived at my hotel on my big day, Terry was amazingly helpful-​He totally ‘got my vision’ of clean, chic and classic, and nailed it. My bouquet was fresh, stunning, classic and with the perfect amount of modern touches to make it relevant to today’s bridal styles. I just knew when I hung up the phone from our first conversation that I had made the right choice, and I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this amazing gem of a florist. pretty spectacular, plus you learn as you pick, he patiently explains the nature of the flowers. the man who owns this space has an eye for unusual beauty.
i saw two types of flowers that were new to me, most florist carry the same old fuss, not this place. the flowers have this rapturous power over me. i was dizzy when i left his shop.

Last week I stopped in for «A POSIE» for my doctor’s office. I watched in amazement at what Terry, the owner, can do in a true FLASH! Terry presented me with a lovely spring bouquet of pale green pom poms, white roses and tooooo~lips! All gathered with a lovely bow. My doctor and his assistant loved them ~ me too.
