I used this place many times for fax and copy.
They did great job.
I can’t say they are super friendly but as long as they get done what I requested, they all I care, right?

This place has always been great. I’ve been many times and they are kind, patient, helpful, and sweet. Thanks!

Came ten minutes before they closed and was rudely kicked out by the manager and his wife. Never coming back. Don’t come if you’re looking for horrible customer service

The people who own and operate this business act like they’re annoyed to have customers. They have treated me the same way every time I’ve been in. Impatient, rude, act like I should know answers that aren’t posted anywhere. Questions like how much are copies? 20 cents per black and white page. Ouch.
And they have a really giant off leash dog that wanders around in and out of the store. The dog and how they treat the dog both add to the feeling like you’re trespassing, not like a business.
I gave them 2 stars because they are open, close by, and have a computer where you open your files yourself to send them to the printer. I personally like handling my own file than having them do it.
But really, anywhere is better than here.

This place is extremely shady.
My package was accidentally sent to this place. Instead of returning my package, they charged me $ 3.00, or they would return my package to the sender.
Can you say extortionists?

I went in on a Friday afternoon to get a couple copies made and the man behind the counter said, «My machine’s busy; I can’t get to it until Monday.» He seemed gruff. This is my second experience feelling like I was putting him out by asking him to make copies. I ended up at Kinkos; they treated me much better.

Just terrible. These guys are trying to get Unilocal to delete all of their bad reviews instead of cleaning up their act. They said my review wasn’t based on my own customer experience. Oh yes I was!
Here’s what happened: I made some print outs from my files. I was there, you were there, and you were more of a hinderance than a help. On a job that simple, it felt like it was intentional. One star.

I cannot make this up if I tried. I received this email after my Unilocal review:

Relaxed copy place that gets the job done. I got 50 5×7 color copies (invites) made for $ 22, which I thought was a great deal. Helpful customer service and the guy even cut the edges nicely. It only took 1.5 hours to print all 50. They also have computers so you don’t even need a flash drive. Cute dog too!

I can only review the notary services the guy was fast, efficient and knew what was doing. The store does need a major improvement when it comes to their presentation and organization.

If you need a quick copy or print, this isn’t a bad option if you’re in the north beach area. But really, just buy a printer. I tell this to myself everytime I go here. The people are nice but the cost of the copies and prints add up fast.

Charlie and Rebecca are very helpful and always manage to get the job done ASAP! Good pricing and always willing to go the extra mile. Stop by and visit Uther (the dog) he is adorable!

Unfriendly service; made me feel as though I was a bother to them and incompetent in printing my resume! I won’t be returning.

I had a terrible experience here. I came in to fax something, and I was unsure of what I needed to do… I’ve only used a fax machine a few times in my life, and they had previously been self serve machines. Anyway, I waited at the counter and was greeted by nothing but rudness and impatience, by a woman who was previously lounging in the back chatting online. It was clear I ruined her day by needing her assistance. She was incredibly short and condecinding while talking to me, then proceeded by personally insaulting me. I am giving it two stars because the fax got sent and for more than a fair price, but I personally will never go back. It’s a shame, I’ve heard some of the other employees are nothing but kind, the woman I dealt with just left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I went into this place today to print a couple things off the internet, 13 pages was 3 dollars. The staff was reasonable nice and the prices didn’t seem outrageous to me. Also it wasn’t crowded and that’s always nice, plus your’e not supporting the «man» like at Kinko’s. Oh and just FYI they don’t have color printing so if that’s something you require (I didn’t, today) then don’t go here. But definitely A-​OK!

Love these guys. They will do anything for you. It is nice to have the neighborhood copy shops still doing well.

Oh WOW!
So I was just at the corner store and the woman who works at the Copy Center came in to buy something. She saw me, and with look of disgust told the cashier to be careful of me because I Unilocal.She THEN told me to NEVER come to their Copy Center again! Oh don’t worry, ma’am, I won’t! Again, another great example of how GREAT your customer service is.

This is a copy shop that I use for all my personal and professional needs. They do things with great care and love. And that is enough of a reason to go there. But since I Unilocal about my hood, I’ll tell you why to stop by and visit this place.
Like all places in North Beach worth going to, this one retains true character. Old typewriters in the window. Email computers for international travelers. Laughter and big hearts. This is the kind of copy shop babysits for local dogs in a pinch, gives great real estate and investing advice and is a place where people hang out and catch up and just yap.
I *heart* North Beach copy. If you are the kind of person who longs for customer service and a real copy shop with design skills, you’ve found your shop.
And if you are looking for kinkos, well you shouldn’t be roaming around my hood anyway.

I found North Beach Copy on Unilocal,because I was unhappy with service that I had received at Kinko’s. I was happy to see that they were only a few blocks away. I checked what time they were closing and it said, «7:00 pm».
I called to make sure I could get what I needed done. The phone call went like this.
Me: I asked, «Can I access the internet and make copies there?»
NB Copy: «Yep, bye» Click. They hung up before I could ask another question.
I arrived with what I thought would be plenty of time (about an hour and 15 minutes).
The man behind the counter said, «We’re closing in a minute.»
I said, «I have over an hour».
They said, «that’s the books». (I have no idea what the means).
I get on the internet to see if I had mistakenly looked at the time and it said they closed 7:00 pm. So I then said, «On Unilocal it says you close at 7 not 6».
NB Copy then said, «Oh, well in the summer we close at 6». It was April, which is not summer.
Had they offered a little more friendlier service, I may have given them a higher rating, but no apology or even a «come back tomorrow» was offered. I understand that people can have a bad day and maybe I just found this place on a bad day.
I am still looking for a copy center that offers courteous, professional service. If anyone knows of such a place, could you please let me know. Thanks
