NVPF – Boot Camp in Noe Valley

It is only day one and I am already a huge fan! I will admit that I wanted to throw up when I was done but I resisted.
Peter Ricci is the instructor and really engages everyone. I was the new comer and the rest of the class are all repeat performers. He must be doing something right if they come back for this physically exhausting class at 6:00am.
I workout regularly but this is different. You can push yourself as hard as you want or be a slacker but why bother going right? The price is right too only $ 150 for 12 classes. I felt like I was getting personal training. Try getting that at your local gym.
If at the end of the six week session I am not seeing results I just give up on working out. Somehow after today’s class I don’t think that will be the situation.
Hey and for all you single people I have a feeling this could be a great place to meet someone. Everyone was friendly and apparently motivated and sober.

I’ve been going to NVPF for the past year — and LOVE it. It is a great start to my day because I get a full workout in before work AND I get to do it outside. Pete is great at making sure he tailors the workout to each person’s needs. If you have an injury, he accommodates and makes sure to give you alternative routines. If you are looking for something to kick-​start your day (and by kick-​start, I mean kick-​you-​butt-​in-​gear), this is the place for you. Oh — and don’t worry — you’ll get use to the 6am start!

I have been going to this boot camp for the past 6 months and it is great. I tried another program prior to this, but didn’t get the same results. I am definitely in better shape now than I have been in a long, long time.
Pete is attentive different ability levels and preventing injuries. He has recommended several modifications for exercises that have been really helpful. He also makes sure that I use good form, especially when I am tired and ready to slack off! Though the group changes slightly from session to session, all of the people have been great — which really helps at 6 am. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about NVPF.

Noe Valley Platoon Fitness is a great program. It runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday. From advanced to beginner, the trainer is able to keep all skill levels engaged and working their tails off. The only thing is… it operates at 6am, but it is a great way to feel energized and revitalized at work, leaving the rest of the day free for whatever tickles your fancy. Overall great service.
