The San Francisco job market is competitive, and I was really feeling that. I probably sent out hundreds of applications, and in turn, received no response. My employment history was solid, my skills were tuned, and I was ready to find a new permanent spot, but I couldn’t get an interview.
I started researching recruiters in the area and met with 5 of them. Each one that I met with made me feel like a freaking rock-​star by the time I was leaving the office, with big promises, and insane amounts of praise; Office Team was the only team to deliver. Office Team found me a job in 4 DAYS! I’m not even kidding, and not 4 days until I had my first interview, 4 days later was my start-​date! 4 Days and I was at an amazing company, with huge growth potential, great pay, and amazing coworkers. If you want a job, use Robert Half/​Office Team. You won’t be sorry.

These women have a super respectable hustle; I’m amazed by what they do! They are incredibly diligent about checking in with me, whether I’m on an assignment or in between, and they are tirelessly singing my praises and advocating for my candidacy in the best positions they have. Emily Turner was kind enough to give me a chance despite the overly artsy attire I wore to my interview (if, like me, you tend toward the eclectic, tone it down and go ultra conservative), and savvy enough to recognize and promote my marketable skills and experience.
I’m less a fan of the process of letting me know about/​asking me whether I’m interested in every position before they submit me as a candidate, as I am often told the client has gone with someone else. Maybe this approach (of presenting multiple candidates at once and telling us before they have a sense of a client’s interest) is unavoidable, but no matter how confident I am, it’s still a little nerve wracking, and I haven’t had that experience with other agencies.
Finally, I’ve seen better wage rates for similar jobs at other agencies, but they both either didn’t have as many jobs available, or don’t have nearly the interpersonal savoir faire of the SF Office Team.
Overall, you’re in capable, caring hands here.

I posted a job on Craigslist for a new assistant which clearly stated «no phone calls please!»
My «old» assistant got a call from them inquiring about the open position! She then comes back at me saying, «So your firing me!» I was speechless. I wasn’t ready to let her go yet, as I
need her there until I find and hire a new assistant and train them. Do you think she is going to do a «good» job now that she knows she’s being fired!” Now I’m working with an elephant in the room until I get a new hire. I’m so mad about the way they handled this!

My experience with Office Team has been special. My recruiter, Lindsay Werner was and has been very encouraging, personable, transparent, and easy to communicate with. She’s provided me with assignments that fit my skill set and are in line with my career goals (Thanks Lindsay!!).

Emily’s rare ability to be both simultaneously professional and and personable is admirable. Emily and Co. somehow put me at ease with unemployment, and were constantly in contact with me, bouncing off ideas for open positions or companies they thought I’d like. Needless to say, I was working within a week.
Also, big shoutout to Devin in the financial team for really going above and beyond with my assignment. Not only was he available via email after hours, but also on the weekends. Moreover, he even took time to walk me over on my first day on assignment and introduce to me to my team.

Robert Half and Associates in my experience is a phenomenal company. Although they are very large, I was impressed with the personal yet professional attention, assessment of my strengths and the plethora of opportunities consistently offered me. I thoroughly enjoyed each of my assignments and learned much from each one.
I felt welcomed, heard and respected by the team beginning with Emily Turner. Emily has incredible energy, dedication and devotion to mentoring new team members and helped me feel part of the company. She is communicative, responsive and motivated. Processes and procedures were well defined, fairly easy to navigate and payment was prompt.
If you’re looking to get off the couch and get to work, start with this team. They will put you to work. Even if it’s not the salary or position you used to have, it’s been my experience that a foot in the door, with an opportunity to really demonstrate your strengths and talents, is the best way to find a win-​win employment situation. Shoutout to the Robert Half Financial Services team! I’ve experienced nothing but positivity so far working with Jessica Johnson, Lauren Corcoran and Tyler Korn.
I told Jessica I was looking for temporary work, and she placed me into a great golf application startup a week after our initial interview.
This assignment’s time frame was initially between 2 to 3 months, but it extended to 6 months!
Shortly after the end of my assignment, I contacted Jessica again asking for another assignment. She had a few opportunities readily available when I called her, but I wasn’t able to attend to those. However the communications didn’t stop as every time a new opportunity arises, she would inform me of and send my resume to the clients and see if I’m a good fit.
Of course, there are ups and downs in the process with me rejecting and being rejected.
On one random evening around 6pm, Lauren contacted me presenting an opportunity to work for a financial services enterprise startup. The next day, I woke up to her phone call at 8AM and was presented with nothing but great news. This then led to an interview 4 hours later with the potential employer.
The next day I was presented with good news again from Lauren that the interview went great and that Funding Circle would like to take me on board. Lauren and Tyler had done an amazing job as intermediaries and expedited my hiring process so I would be able to work again asap.
Thanks again to Jessica, Lauren and Tyler! Highly recommend their service to anyone seeking employment opportunities in financial services.

Huge shoutout to Emily who has been keeping me on a job. She’s super friendly and very responsive. OfficeTeam reaches out to me a few times every two weeks with cool opportunities. They’re definitely easy to work with when you’re transparent with what you’re expecting and looking for.

All the people at Robert Half are great, really. Giovanna my recruiter always makes me smile because she is so kind; but expects the best as well. Same thing as my last recruiter Jessica Torres, always great in my book. Cashiering and stocking food is a anybody talent. The office skills taught by office team introduces you to new job opputinities.

I absolutely love OfficeTeam. I have an interview with Emily on a Thursday and that afternoon I had an assignment ready for me. OfficeTeam calls, me at least once a week with more part time assignments. Emily (my recruiter) is very nice and also have my best interest. Emily Turner was my recruiter and she did a good job of handling my situation and application. I was immediately set up with a position in customer service which was actually at a very cool startup in San Francisco. The other recruiter Betsy even brought breakfast our first day, which was such a lovely surprise! It’s a little intimidating at first to visit a temp agency since, for me, I did not know what to expect. Emily was highly enthusiastic and did a good job of gleaning over my skills and whatnot. She’s highly communicative and explains very well how the agency conducts work. I was paid on a timely manner, and the timesheet was easy to navigate. Even after leaving Office Team, Emily still keeps in touch, which I appreciate.

I was fired by OfficeTeam from the Postmates job on Nov. 1^st after complaints to OfficeTeam of not being paid in a timely manner. I have filed complaints with the Dept. of Labor as well as the EEOC. Since Nov. 1^st I’ve been seeking more stable work.

Office Team has always been there for me when I needed a job fast.
This last time I was contacted by Devin and I have been meaning to express how good he is at what he does. First of all, he is extremely friendly, professional and easy to talk to. It felt like I was talking to a friend.
Second of all, he is fast at getting back to you and suggesting a role. He explains and listens.
He found two roles for me within days.
I am not sure what happened to others who wrote the review, it could depend who you get at their office. You can always ask for Devin, I highly recommend him.

In less than five hours I uploaded my resume to their website, was called in to meet the team, and then was scheduled an interview for tomorrow with a company I like and for a position I’m really excited about! I can’t believe how fast and easy this process was. In awe at how professional and fun this experience was. Another three interviews later I got my job!

Well, to be honest, this has been one of the best firms I have worked for in quite some time. For someone who has some admin experience, my rep in particular has reshape my thinking in terms of building my resume into a more attractive piece of work. The jobs are pretty good, and the staff has been pretty well organized thus far.
Reading some of the other reviews, sounds like (and I hope so) they got rid of the lemons of the firm. Yes, we get thrown around from rep to rep, but I appreciate the fact they can see what skill set I have, and find an opportunity in almost any field that I would do well in. I enjoy working for them, and can’t wait to be placed on a more permanent job.

Office Team is amazing! I was so surprised by how quickly they were able to find assignments for me. I sent my application in on a Wednesday morning, they contacted me that afternoon, scheduled an in-​person interview for Thursday, and I was working by Friday. Fantastic!
All the ladies there are professional, approachable, and efficient. They really listen to your needs and do their best to accommodate with every assignment they give you. I will definitely be using Office Team again in the future.

OfficeTeam is amazing!!! I came back from college with barely any legit work experience except for campus jobs and summer jobs I held throughout high school. I had been looking for a full time job for a few months at that point, but even after so many interviews, I couldn’t get one! My mom had the idea to join a temp agency so at least I would have money while i’m still looking for a job. I then found OfficeTeam on Unilocal and started temping through them.
I applied online to one of their jobs and got a call the next day from Lauren Kuemeller. I met her later that week at the 50 California office. She was really excited to help me and hopefully get my foot in the door at some great offices around FiDi. We talked a bit about what I wanted from this, and the length of jobs (full-​time, part-​time, temp-​to-​hire, etc.). After filling out the tax forms and everything, she actually took me to meet Jessica Johnson, who put me in a week-​long assignment THE NEXT DAY! I was so excited to make money again (#brokecollegegrad) and thankful they could match me up with something like this in such a short amount of time. They have short temp assignments like a week or even one day (I was a receptionist for a day once!), but also long ones that span over a few months and have the opportunity to convert to a full time position.
Eventually I did find a full-​time position elsewhere that I wanted to commit to, so I am no longer using OfficeTeam as a resource. But now I know whenever I am in need of a job, I will definitely reach out to them again.

I didn’t work with Derrick much but I felt he was a fantastic guy and recruiter the few times we interacted. He listened and did his best for me. I didn’t go on many interviews thru him but it was part my fault because I was too busy myself to keep in contact. Unlike Premier and Appleone, this is one big firm I did like.
I really only wanted to work with two staffing agencies max and this was my third favorite.
