Onika Simone

Sometimes I walk in to see Onika and I’m like «ya, I’m tired cut my hair please». Other times I’m all like «hey, I have this great idea! Do this and this and this!». Doesn’t matter, Onika nails it. period.
Onika has cut my hair for the better part of 5 years. She’s an exciting, fun and very talented artist. I love our time spent chatting and I’m not really that talkative. Still, the conversation flows and my hairs falls to the floor. I get my hair cut only about once every 3 months and she doesn’t mind at all. I’m always greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome.
Being a dude, getting an appointment is easy. I can usually book an appointment within a week online. I’ve seen her at On Mars and these days, Glama-​Rama. She picks cool spots with interesting artwork and I’ll follow her wherever she goes.

Onika has been doing my ‘do for maybe 7 years now. I have followed her to Glama-​Rama — a great spot. Onika’s online scheduling is terrific, but really — you care about hair. Mine is curly, unruly, and graying intensely. She has created dozens of great cut and color combinations for my ever-​changing tastes. She is funny, smart, and gives a legit consultation whether you are seeing her for the first time or the fiftieth.
Several of my friends have gone to Onika with great results as well. So it ain’t just me.
She is excellent and I am so lucky to have found her!

Onika always does great work both with highlights and cuts. I love her new salon (Glamorama) and the ability to make appointments online. My only reservation about writing a great review is that she’ll be hard to book in the future!
