The place is neat and pretty, good decoration.
I tried the mixed fruit flavor hard candy, pretty little stuff blossom in your mouth! It worth the price tho.
They start to provide bubble tea (which occasionally also in their name) as well with less sugar more healthy flavor choices, I’d like to try more unique option here next time!

Adorable candy and boba shop in Hayes Valley. I worked with the owner Dean to make customized candy for my company’s holiday party with our logo on them. He was able to turn them around in a week’s notice. The pricing does include shipping but since we were in a rush, we decided to pick up the jars at the shop. The candies turned out adorable and everyone loved them. I made them white & blue and strawberry flavored.
I liked visiting the shop so I could see how cute it was! Also, I got to try their peach green tea with lychee popping boba. It was very refreshing and a perfect pick me up for the long day ahead. The shop also offers a handful of samples of the candy.
If you’re looking for something not cookie cutter, but delicious, I suggest you try out Pabapubble’s hard candies. And also to quench your thirst, their boba!

This place is actually legit. Randomly walked by and got lured in since I don’t think there are any other milk tea places around this area. Kind of misplaced to be honest.
Surprisingly the milk tea was pretty good as well seeing as it’s a hybrid candy shop that also serves drinks. Nice and fresh even though we were the only customers in there.

I finally had a chance to come here because everytime I want to go there is never parking, since street parking only. It’s such a cute petit store with an awesome bearbrick by the register. I bought 2 bags of the mixed fruit and I loved every flavor in them!

This store is really cute and sweet (see what I did there?).
They sell lots of hard candy, some other types of candy, and tea! It’s definitely a very nice place to stop to satiate your sweet tooth.
I stopped by to taste their bubble tea, and I got lucky: they finally had it in stock. I tried the Classic Milk Tea, and it was delicious. It’s sweet, but not too sweet or as sweet as other milk teas out there. And the boba was actually quite good.
I was pleasantly impressed with their menu. There is a big variety of teas and toppings to choose from. They seem to have something called Cube Tea, which is with tea with jelly candy topping that they produce. I’m very curious to try it and I will come to taste it, for sure.

Was really looking forward to the candies after all the rave reviews, and on a hot day we were happy to see they also offer bubble tea.

Bubble tea — tapioca was good, but better tea could be found in many other.
I knew this was a pricey place, but $ 5 for the same quality/​quantity and the container isn’t even sealed but just regular plastic cap.
When we got home, the bag of candies in my messenger bag is scattered all over. Apparently the bottom of the bag came apart. WHAT? $ 6 a bag and the bag doesn’t even hold up?
Good for a small souvenir/​gift, but we’re not likely to return.

I had visited a Papabubble in Amsterdam and was craving more of their candies when I had run out, so I took to the internet to find some more. I was delighted to find that, lo and behold, there was a store here in San Francisco! I checked it out with a friend and was excited to find some of my fave old flavors and new delicious ones too, they taste really true and not artificial. The staff is friendly and patient and there are many things to sample so you know what you’re getting. And it’s so fun to see the candy being made right before your eyes!

I love their candy and this is coming from someone who doesn’t love sweets. They have cute themed candy if you’re looking for a fun inexpensive gift under $ 10 — it’s a girl/​boy, SF, etc.
AND they also have delicious bubble tea with a number of herbal tea options which is not easy to find.

Such a fun little candy store!

The candy is actually quite good. The flavors are very fun, vibrant, and tasty. They have a good variety of flavors along with the usual ones like toffee nut and butterscotch, and they make them all very well. The flavors all have a unique and fun taste.
However, the milk tea is fair, not bad, not great. They have this thing where u put candy or jellies in the drink. It’s a neat concept and it has great potential. However, they don’t have good variety of combinations to offer, and the suggested combos on the menu are terribly typical and so cliché. The combinations are unoriginal and really lack any excitement.
To add to that negative, the clerk didn’t seem to understand how flavors work and obviously was just a guy manning the front counter. As a result, the staff and establishment looked more like people that just bought into a business idea and opened shop, rather than passionate original makers of flavor and candies that are eager to create great combos and really share an experience with the customers.
It’s such a different feeling. The candies are great, milk tea and teas are par, and the people are obviously not original makers of the candy – they’re just manning the desk and selling what came in inventory. Sad. This is a type of shop that should be run by the actual makers or at least by a more passionate staff trained and versed in creating amazing flavors.

Handmade artisan candy. Beautiful crafted lollipops and a wide variety of delicious flavors. The Heart Mix, Fruit Mix, Raspberry & Pineapple are my favorites. Helpful service. One of my friend’s daughter broke her ring pop and an employee fixed it with fresh candy on the spot!

The blackberry candy is AWESOME.
All of the flavors are written on the backs of the bags. It’s easy to miss how intricate each piece of candy is since there’s a bunch of bags along the wall, but if you look closely, they have an image of the fruit that they taste like, some have words. The details are so great.
If you get a chance to watch the candy being made, that’s the best part! Especially the ones with words, since it’s done so methodically and skillfully. It’s amazing to see the end product that results from such simple materials. I’m going to have to custom order something one day soon.

Super cute bubble tea + candy store! I like that you can choose the sugar level for your tea — a must for me because I prefer less sweet. The candy is really cute and you get a free bag if you check in!

Artisanal, small-​batch candies, pop art and bubble tea — hence the name Papabubble. It’s a Barcelona-​based company and the tiny hard (some soft) sweets are made in-​house. It’s quite fascinating to watch in-​person. No doubt it’s a painstaking, meticulous endeavor, requiring a steady and consistent hand. They’ll give you a sample while you browse.
You’ll find kiwi, jasmine tea, cola, watermelon-​salt-​chile, lychee, ginger, strawberry, lime chile, root beer, sparkling wine, cherry, apple cinnamon, mint and more.
I wish they had more options for drinks and other service. The bubble tea was not as amazing as it could have been. But tapioca gets me riled up! The bar should have seats for watching their creations and drinking the drinks they are serving up. The space is sparse and dusty, with minimal décor and low-​key staff that hangs back. Dean Hsieh, a Taipei native, is the manager. He moved to San Francisco three years ago and wanted to try his hand at making Papabubble here. He worked for the company’s locations in Taiwan.
Tucked away on the side of the building, you wouldn’t necessarily stumble upon it unless you knew you were looking for it or live in Hayes Valley, and find yourself wandering her streets. So, it’s a quaint space without being overly loud and brimming with commotion.
Papabubble’s treats, while colorful and whimsically alluring, are not suitable for children. They are a choking hazard. This is a candy shop for adults. They offer custom made choices, special orders and flavours just for your next gathering, like weddings, birthdays, business meetings, ones with your logo, etc.
Wei-​Ting Fu has set up a table with greeting cards and hand-​made San Francisco-​themed paper goods.
tl;dr: It’s innovative, unique and perfect for sharing! Gourmet candy for the person who hates candy or anyone who loves colorful food!

This place is so cool!
As a note, I came here for a candy making class so I got to try lots of different types of candies and make my own!
Making the candy was probably the coolest part. Dean (one of the owners) taught us how they made the candy and how to make a lollipop. Wearing these really cool gloves and with a lollipop stick, we made a strawberry flavored rose.
Otherwise, I got some of candy too. I got the package with San Francisco related logs and pillow candy. They stretch out the candy to get it so small. The ones with the words in it are made in a larger circle and then stretched out to make it a lot smaller. They also have lots of different flavors that are delicious! Kiwi, banana, passion fruit, lychee, and so many others!
protip: try to go in when they’re making candy because it’s so cool to see it being made. Also, when I went in, they were giving away a little bit more candy once you bought a bag so see if that’s there! They also let you try lots of things, so try different flavors to find the ones you like!

I’ve been wanting to check out Papabubble for a while and finally ended up coming by.
There really isn’t much inside: a few display tables, a wall full of bagged candies, the candy-​making table, and the sample/​display/​checkout counter.
But the candies – yum! If you’re looking for cheap, run-​of-​the-​mill candy, this place is not for you. But for a unique gift or interesting hand-​crafted hard candies (I think they might have soft ones too?), this place is really cool.
The guy at the counter was really nice and not pushy at all (we could sample multiple things and were only told prices when we asked). The bags of candies are the best deal, but the candies in the jar would be adorable for stocking stuffers or small gifts.
Come check it out and support a small business that does things the old-​fashioned handmade way!

This is gourmet millie candy.
I stumbled into this fantastic little shop on a usual outing to the Hayes, noticing it was new. They have opened only two weeks ago and I see a fantastic future for this place. They have some of the most unique, delicious flavors of candy I have ever had. They use all natural ingredients whenever possible, and are seriously some of the sweetest people I have ever met.
Try to make it during a time they are making the candy, the process is truly a work of art and I love watching it made. They are constantly creating new flavors and trying out new styles, these guys are making candy an Art! :) It has become an obsession of mine, and I have been coming back constantly. I love supporting these guys and I really hope that they grow bigger, this is a place worth checking out if you’re in SF. And if you’re not, just come for it.

A lot of variety of flavors. They have hard and soft candies. All homemade from their store. Bought a small lychee lollipop for about $ 5. Can order custom candies too! Oh, and they sell their leftover candies for about $ 5 a bag cause they can’t reuse them!
The guy working there was very nice too. He let us try a lot of different flavors. I really liked the sparkling wine!
