You’ll never leave hungry with our fresh and filling appetizers, salads, and pizzas including our signature Chicago style deep dish. Plus, you can complement your tasty meal with one of our excellent cocktails or a smooth glass of wine or beer, many of which come from some of our favorite local spots.
History
Established in 2004.
Patxi’s (pronounced «Pah-Cheese») began in the summer of 2004 in Palo Alto, CA, when a pizza lover and avid entrepreneur, Bill Freeman, partnered with an old friend and expert pizza maker, Francisco «Patxi» Azpiroz.
Today, nearly a decade and multiple locations later, the pair have turned their passion for fresh deep dish pizza and genuine hospitality into a signature experience that can only be summed up as «Patxi’s.»
As we continue to grow and bring the Patxi’s experience to more communities across the country, we’ll stay true to our roots and never forget what makes each bite of our pizza so special. When you walk through our doors, you’re in for a treat. When you sit down at our table, you’re family.

Business Owner
Bill Freeman founded Patxi’s in 2004 with his friend Francisco «Patxi» Azpiroz in downtown Palo Alto. After rapid expansion Bill is still committed to Patxi’s customer hospitality above all else.
A Bay Area native himself, Bill enjoys giving back to the local community and spending time with his wife and two children.
