History

Established in 1991.

Our offices provide an informal and relaxed environment, making what is often a difficult process as comfortable as possible. After spending several years working at small, medium, and large law firms, Peter Pelavin opened his own firm with the goal to provide personalized, friendly, and professional legal services at reasonable rates.

In 1996, Samantha Murray Tighe, sharing the same goals, joined the firm as an associate and is now a partner. Samantha has specialized in wills, trusts, trust administration, and probate since joining the firm.

Business Owner

Peter has been an attorney for 25 years while Samantha has practiced for 19 years. Our practice is quite varied but we primarily prepare wills and trusts and help people to take care of legal matters after someone has passed away. We believe we are able to understand what people are experiencing and truly help them both legally and otherwise. We take care to educate our clients so that they understand the choices they are making rather than telling them what they should do. We prepare our estate plans to meet the particular situation our client may be in. We also practice in the areas of contracts, real estate and business organizations.
